  1. Midnight Ride is using 4.3Beta version, so that version is likely fine to test as well.
  2. No brainer. Accepted for 1.0.0.
  3. Vanilla > Fallout 4 HD Overhaul > All Weapons HD > Fallout HD Overhaul + All Weapons HD + High Poly Vanilla Weapons Definitely an improvement. The Fat Man holes are no longer squares. Rounded objects are better rounded. The extra lights on the Alien Blaster are a very nice touch. Accepted for 1.0.0.
  4. I doubt it is in perfect shape, but not sure. I moved it into Old Versions, so give it a bit and you should be able to get it I think. Be sure to Check for Errors in xEdit before using it, as it likely has errors due to mod updates that you'll need to fix.

  7. Discussion topic: Power Armor Ownership Fix by Selenarious Wiki Link Makes "stolen" power armor not stolen anymore. Also has an option to disable the glitchy animation of walking around the power armor to insert the fusion core.
  8. Discussion topic: Who's The General - Minutemen Quest Cleanup by Glitchfinder Wiki Link Preston has been convincing sole survivors to destroy the Minutemen for a long time with his constant pestering. I would avoid Sanctuary like the plague just to avoid him constantly giving me quests. This mod looks like it might fix this. It also has a patch for Keep Radiants in the Commonwealth.
  9. I think I've read enough about this issue to believe this is needed, despite never personally encountering this issue. The plugin is easily verified. Marking accepted for 1.0.0.
  10. I am convinced by kediwah's (aka i860 on the RE discord) testing that this mod does nothing, so I'm dropping this from testing. I believe it is a placebo. After extensive testing, it has been found that just simply loading the ENB binary is enough to cause the puddle flickering issue, even with all effects disabled, and I think that is the source of the "vanilla" issue. I have never been able to reproduce this in full vanilla (i.e., no enb binary present). If the bug is a vanilla issue due to cubemaps changing, the change to bright white is likely caused by some of the cubemaps lacking a transparent alpha channel. If we do find this occurs in vanilla, likely adding a transparent alpha channel to the offending cubemaps will likely be enough to make the flickering miniscule enough to be unnoticeable. I did some testing utilizing modified cubemaps with transparent alpha channels, and it seems to remove the most obvious flickering that was occurring with ENB enabled. I could be wrong about some or all of this, but this is what I've concluded after many hours of testing. The previous fix was worse than the bug anyway.
  11. You can add new outfits and jewelry without regenerating LODs. You can typically rebuild a bashed patch without regenerating LODs as well.

  13. Discussion topic: Climbable Ladders for Settlements by neeher Wiki Link So often in settlements, you need to go up so you can build something up high. Say, place a turret on the roof so it is at a higher vantage point and more effective. Typically, you would have to build Stairs. Lots of stairs. Even some stairs that should never hold up, as they're unsupported by anything, but you just need to get up there. I feel like this mod may remedy this issue in a lore-friendly way that fits within the mandate.

  15. Discussion topic: Perk Up - Full Vanilla Plus perk Overhaul by SpringHeelJon Wiki Link SpringHeelJon has been on a roll lately.
  16. Discussion topic: Targeted Textures by SpringHeelJon Wiki Link This is a vanilla-based texture upscaling mod that fixes some of the vanilla blurry textures. This may be useful to override Fallout 4 HD Overhaul as a possible performance improvement/vanilla texture override. Not planning to test this right now, but it's one more tool we could use.
  17. Discussion topic: Clarity - A Visual Overhaul by Bretton Wiki Link If there's one gripe I have with the vanilla weather, it is that everything is way too blurred out. Can't see very far in the distance well. This looks like it might fix that. Probably best to use the 4.2 main file, by preliminary analysis. Masterlix recommends removing the Lights records as well, which we can likely handle in the patch, if necessary. Accepted for 1.0.0. Using 4.3 version. Remove the ini file. We will do our own edits as necessary. Remove puddle edits in conflict resolution. Radiant Clouds and Fogs requires conflict resolution. Vault 88 Essentials should load after this. Lightweight Lighting should load after this, but a patch would be needed to use all the fog settings. Consider adjusting fog so it is not all the same, but that's likely a whole new mod you're talking... low priority.
  18. Assuming that you installed the guide in its entirety, yes, that is correct.

  20. Do not use these kinds of comparisons for lods. You must test these in game to see the difference. The Resources versions are higher poly, full texture, and outside the recommended uv scale limits, so obviously it will look better in a mesh preview. However, it will likely significantly lower your performance without any visible upgrade simply due to how far away they are. These are all things that I have learned from creating my own lod resources for Fallout 4.
  21. Hmmm.... Mine matches nearly perfectly (close enough that you would never be able to tell). Perhaps rerun TexGen?
