  1. I had to do some research because I thought I had played Falskaar years ago but the outline DoubleYou gave wasn't jogging my memory. Now that I've somewhat remembered what this mod is about, I think DoubleYou is pretty much spot on. I also had the impression that the mountains were tossed into the middle of the map to force travel through the main road. There aren't that many points of interest that are not the main roads anyway. I think TechAngel85 pretty much sums it up nicely. Also note that Falskaar Addons and Patches is available that adds fast travel markers to Falskaar and Skyrim and corrects some issues.I just happened to see it in the search when looking for Falskaar.
  2. I have completely finished Helgen Reborn a couple of time, and it is a great mod. The one caveat is that the mod author recommends installing but not activating the plugin when starting a new game. The plugin should be activated after exiting the cave if using the vanilla start. This may be solved by using any of the non-vanilla options in Alternate Start, but the cart ride may not work correctly if the Helgen Reborn plugin is active.
  3. It turns out we did have a topic of sorts for this for this mod, but I don't how it ended up in this shape: We originally had a version of this mod (I think Skyrim -Community- Uncapper) and I think we've always left configuration as user choice.
  4. Now that you mention it, I recall running into this issue a long time ago when I had completely disabled autosaves. This is the post that documents the findings on fast travel and Sheson's response.
  5. Click Requirements and you'll see powerofthree's Tweaks. Scroll down and expand the spoiler on the 5.1.0-5.0 changelog and you'll see: "Adds editorID lookup that requires powerofthree's Tweaks." under the 5.1.0 release. The information is there in the mod description, but it requires peeking behind a couple of curtains to see the hidden information.
  6. Bethesda released a version of Skyrim on the 11th that includes some CC content such as Fishing, Saints and Seducers and Survival mode. This update was released free to everyone that owns Skyrim Special Edition and this is why the Skyrim.exe executable changed. You can also optionally purchase all of the CC content from Stream in a bundle deal.
  7. The topic title mentions MO2 but the conversation has nothing to do with MO2.
  8. The second screenshot shows you are using SKSE 2.0.20 that does not work with Skyrim Anniversary Edition. You need to download and install SKSE version 2.1.2.
  9. Go to https://skse.silverlock.org/ and download the Preliminary AE build 2.1.2 (runtime 1.6.318) archive. If you have SKSE already installed in your Skyrim Special Edition folder, delete skse64_loader.exe, skse64_steam_loader.dll, and skse*.dll (where * is a version number like 1_6_318) before installing the new version. You'll need to extract skse64_1_6_318.dll, skse64_loader.exe, and skse64_steam_loader.dll to the Skyrim Special Edition folder (the same folder that contains SkyrimSE.exe and SkyrimSELauncher.exe. You must also install the scripts folder using your mod manager or extract the Scripts folder to the Skyrim Special Edition\Data folder if you are not using a mod manager.
  10. If you mean kryptopyr's Patch Hub Installer (FOMOD) main file, I think we downloaded the individual patches because the FOMOD didn't include the latest version of all patches.
  11. Book Covers Skyrim Update is opted in to receive donation points whereas the rights on Book Covers Skyrim explicitly requires permission from DanielCoffee to earn donation points if it uses assets from Book Covers Skyrim. Given the vagueness of what's actually fixed, the wholesale use of Book Covers Skyrim BSA, and conflicts with USSEP, I'm not getting all warm and fuzzy with this mod.
  12. Changed the order of the compares to make it easier to compare. Step (CW) Improved Clouds Mesh (ICM) Picta Picta w/optional file
  13. Shoot... I apparently never downloaded Improved Clouds Mesh so I can't compare the two. All I can say is that it probably is given both are by TrueDraconis. We'll probably want to put Picta Series - Improved Sky Meshes through testing either way given it contains 162 meshes for atmosphere and clouds.
  14. Vanilla looks more like plastic to me and I think it clearly demonstrates why we prefer SRO. I think the last two screenshots clearly demonstrate that vanilla parts and SRO parts don't mix well.
  15. If i remember correctly, Dawnguard members attack only if the player is in vampire form. The exception is that two or three vampire hunters from the Dawnguard may spawn attack the player even if the player is in human form. I think these are generally random events that occur while the player is on walkabout and may not happen if Isran is dead. If I'm not mistaken, most vampires should ignore the player if the player is a vampire. Notable exceptions include hostile vampires (I think these are generally spawned in towns and attack everyone and there may be others that I'm not remembering) and some named vampires that are part of a quest.
  16. I think we should at least add a comment if a mod was considered and not accepted so we know not to continue considering the mod every time we forget it wasn't accepted.
  17. I think we did not include Content Addon because it has non-vanilla variations of the armors.
  18. Flickering Mesh Fix and Unofficial Material Fix are already in the guide. Assorted Mesh Fixes and Fixed Mesh Lighting are currently in testing. I don't think we've considered Dlizzio's Mesh Fixes yet.
  19. <smacks forehead> I read the conflicts pane incorrectly. The farmhouse meshes are losing conflicts to Better Dynamic Snow.
  20. The FOMOD adds new options: Towns and Villages Whiterun and Windhelm Hold's farmhouses None Farmhouses Without Parallax Farmhouses With Parallax Do we want to select Farmhouses Without Parallax to override some of the meshes in Better Dynamic Show? (See the list from Mercury71 above).
  21. We don't use Creatures from aMidianBorn Book of Silence.
  22. I agree this is a good one for the guide. I had to let my eyes adjust to screenshots in mod description before I saw the squares/rectangles around the impacts.
  23. This is good news if it does not conflict with Timing is Everything. I was quickly browsing the descriptions and thought there might be a conflict in one or two of the quest requirements.
  24. This also affects Thieves Guild Requirements and I think it may effect Timing is Everything. In theory we could replace Not So Fast - Main Quest, Not So Fast - Mage Guide and Thieves Guild Requirements with this mod and gain the changes to the Dark Brotherhood and Bards College in the bargain.
