  1. You might investigate 5760 x 1080 or 1440 x 7680 Surround Triple Monitor Gaming for SkyUi 5.2 to see if this has any promise. It looks as if it supports SkyUI 5.2SE.
  2. Yes, you should use the one that requires SMIM. The primary difference is that SMIM installs its assets in custom folders (something like textures/SMIM and meshes/SMIM) instead of overwriting the vanilla meshes and textures.
  3. I corrected these typos in the System Setup guide. I left this one alone, but I think you can ignore the ..\Games\Modding\GameName folder listed here. I suspect this was left over from before Mod Organizer supported global instances. If you choose "Create a global instance" as recommended by the guide, this one installed copy of Mod Organizer can be used to manage all supported games.
  4. No, the game isn't intelligence enough for that and I'm tempted to categorize this as a "fix" as well. I've been using some followers from Interesting NPCs and I found a couple of scenarios really aggravating: take a few steps down a narrow corridor and turn around to come back out but the path is blocked by a follower; in an active conversation and suddenly get shoved out of the scene by a follower. Fortunately it hasn't happened while I'm trying to take a long shot from the edge of a cliff or mountain yet.
  5. I agree with DoubleYou so I vote no.
  6. It may be a good option for those that want the classic sprint method, but I prefer Skyrim SE's change as well.
  7. The mode page mentions Wrye Bash should be used to resolve any conflicts between Book Covers Skyrim - Lost Library and any mods that conflict with its leveled lists. You don't need to worry about this because the Step patches resolves all the conflicts in the guide for you.
  8. I also recommend installing the guide and verifying everything works correctly before installing any mods on top. Once you are ready to add additional mods, copy your current profile to a new profile and add your mods to the new profile. The general idea is to keep the Step profile unmodified so you can fall back to it if necessary.
  9. Did you install both the x86 and x64 versions for the C++ runtime? It may be worth a shot because it looks as if this is still an x86 application. I doubt you have an issue with the .NET Framework because one of your screenshots shows PapyrusCompiler.exe is running. If you had an issue with .NET Framework, that second screenshot in original post wouldn't be showing "Papyrus Compiler version blah blah" and no output generated.
  10. I also have Papyrus Assembler 2.7.0.2 and Papyrus Compiler 2.8.0.4 for Fallout 4. It looks as if Papyrus Assembler is a native C++ application that has options to disassemble, assemble or analyze scripts whereas Papyrus Compiler is a .NET Framework application used to compile scripts.
  11. This is normal behavior. All plugins with the master flag set (generally ESM files, but may also include ESL and ESP files with the master flag set) must be at the top of the load order and DynDOLOD.esm generally falls to the bottom of the masters. The standard plugins (generally ESP and ESL files without the master flag set) load after the masters and you should see DynDOLOD.esp at the bottom of the load order. I seem to recall it's somewhat normal for some files to get created in the overwrite folder when you play the game. I don't remember what these are off the top of my head, but I generally try to move some of these to the appropriate mod. For example, you may find one of the extenders creates an SKSE\plugins\*.ini file the first time you play that should be moved to go with the appropriate extender mod.
  12. I make this somewhat easier and less painful by installing aMidianBorn Book of Silence SE -- ARMORS. In the dialog that pops up, I rename this to aMidianBorn Book of Silence and copy the name to the clipboard. When I install the remaining aMidianBorn Book of Silence files, I just paste the name into the dialog so I don't have to worry about typos getting in the way.
  13. The vanilla game makes it too easy to level smithing just by crafting ingots from ore and other items or by crafting hide into leather. The recommended Complete Crafting Overhaul settings in the guide removes the experience gained from at the smelter and tanning rack so experience is limited to activities at the armor workbench, grindstone and forge. You can also use CCO's MCM settings to adjust the experience gained to change the leveling speed if desired. If you enable skill increases at the smelter, you'll gain one level for roughly ever 5 or 10 ingots created. The argument here is that you aren't really learning anything about crafting weapons or armor by smelting items into ingots. We added Enemy Revolution of Skyrim, Odin - Skyrim Magic Overhaul and Vokrii - Minimalistic Perks of Skyrim to the guide but I don't see remember anything about these affecting the magic leveling rate.
  14. That's interesting because Steam wouldn't download the purchased Anniversary Edition CC content for me. I had to run the game and login to beth.net to get the game to download them. i didn't run the game from within Mod Organizer for this step, though.
  15. The free update includes the four CC content (Survival Mode, Fishing, and two others that I can't remember offhand). All of the remaining CC content can be purchased from Steam for $20 USD.
  16. I think we just learned NVidia settings are confusing and counter-intuitive?
  17. My video card supports windowed hardware composition, but I haven't tried to disable vsync to see if goes above 60 in borderless window mode. [Render] [D3D] Requesting mode: 1920x1200@0 | VSync: 1 | Windowed: 1 [Render] [D3D] SwapEffect: flip_discard | SwapBufferCount: 3 | Tearing: 0 | Flags: 0x00000002 [Render] [D3D] Windowed hardware composition support: yes TechAngel85's apparently does not support windowed hardware composition: [Render] [D3D] Requesting mode: 1920x1080@0 | VSync: 0 | Windowed: 1 [Render] [D3D] SwapEffect: flip_discard | SwapBufferCount: 3 | Tearing: 0 | Flags: 0x00000002 [Render] [D3D] Windowed hardware composition support: no
  18. The guide does not require survival mode to be turned on.
  19. Did you try disabling the Discord overlay or exiting Discord while playing in borderless windowed mode? Just asking because one person alleged his was capped at 60 FPS until he exited Discord.
  20. A bashed patch is not needed. The STEP patch takes care of all patch requirements.
  21. This is complete off topic for here, but run Creation Kit and load a random mod. Creation Kit will spin its wheels for a while loading the base game masters and then spew out a massive log errors and warnings for Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, etc. I know my naive reaction to this the first time I ran across it was to hunt down a way to disable it.
  22. Can you attach your Fallout4.ini, Fallout4Prefs.ini and Fallout4Custom.ini?
  23. I know JIP LN NVSE adds support for FalloutCustom.ini. I don't know where the Custom.ini comes from, but I have this in my FNV profile and it's visible/editable in Mod Organizer's INI Editor.
  24. I defer to @DoubleYou on this one.
