By the way, until I hit aMidianBorn book of silence, there had been no problems. Easy to follow, install and everything seemed to be working great.

Edit: Actually that is not completely true. The mod 'Consistent Older People' has to be deactivated in the right pane when running Skyrim for where I am up to in loading STEP. I haven't reached the BOYD yet, so a master file is missing. Obviously this wont be an issue once I get to BOYD and load it.

That's not unusual. Just as a general principle, when you see the sign in the right pane next to an esp or esm of an exclamation mark in a triangle, it suggests a missing master. Just leave that esp disabled until you install it's master, then go back and re-enable. It shouldn't happen that often. :)

Just another little trick for new players. :)

It does not. ICH, WAF, and Content Addon are all maintained by the same author.

Aren't WAF and Content Addon maintained by kryptopyr and ICH by navida1? At least it was navida1 who made the last update/upload to ICH.

Any update as to whether aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp should be disabled? I did so based on the author's instructions, but I thought I should check in here to be sure since it isn't in the notes anymore.

If you install the files as instructed in the details of the STEP wiki for that mod, does that plugin (.esp file) even get installed (I don't think it does...)?  If it doesn't then there is nothing to disable because it was never installed to begin with.  :)

There is NO QUESTIONING weather or not this is a great mod, but... that draugr though. It looks like it's made of steel. Really. (Does it really follow the STEP philosophy or whatever?) Anyone got a screenshot?

(Image Source: Included in the v1.9 "Creatures" FOMOD installer).

EDIT:

It is.

I'm sorry. I must have missed it. Strangely.

It does. It's in the "Weapons" v1.9 installer.

They don't look like that in game.

Alright.

Two other thoughts about this mod.

It seems strange to me that the Skyforge weapons have warewolves carved (or whatever) in them, because, I mean, *whispers* isn't the warewolf thing a secret? This really bogs me.

I feel like some clarification on the wiki on weather or not the "Bonemold Hotfix" and the "Skyforge Hotfix" should be used or not is in place. The nexus download page clearly states that they must be installed.

The mod page says that the "Skyforge Hotfix" needs to be installed if using the Skyforge items. STEP does not use these, so that hotfix is not needed.

STEP does use those. The STEP wiki recommends installing all weapons in the "Weapons" FOMOD installer for this mod, which includes aMidianBorn Skyforge Weapons. Wheather or not this is intentional, I do think that the wiki should say something like this "Do NOT install the Skyforge hotfix" or "Install the Skyforge hotfix". Oh and something about that Bonemold hotfix too.

The two hotfixes you mention are fixed by another STEP file later on, and thus aren't needed. If you install them seperately from the main mod and watch thier flags, they will eventually get the white lightining icon of 'Redundant', meaning that they have had all thier files overwritten by another mod... in this case, the STEP Extended Patch, I believe. The only hotfix of the three on the page you need is the one listed in the detailed instructions for the BoS.
