Mod added rules will not be applied if you load a preset. You MUST click the low/medium/high buttons to load any changed rules. Presets only apply the rules in the preset. Nothing more, nothing less. This is why I advocate against supplying presets, as any mod added rules, or updated rules in subsequent DynDOLOD updates, will not be applied. Otherwise we would need to check that the preset is still correct after any update to mod added rules or DynDOLOD rules. DynDOLOD_SSE_{whateverWeLike}.ini is incorrect. It must be DynDOLOD_SSE_pluginnamestrippedofallcharactersthatarenotalphanumericesp.ini. Use the rules I provided in the Discord channel.

ACCEPTED Atlas Map Markers SE - Updated with MCM (by kryptopyr)
DoubleYou replied to wojsku's topic in Skyrim SE Mods
I can fix that. That is one of the things that I have been fixing across the world maps. It's a rather simple fix. I think I might have already tweaked that some more since my last dev file version.- 32 replies

Presets like this are sub-optimal, as any mod-added rules are ignored, and any updated rules by Sheson would also be ignored. It is better to share individual rules or include them as mod-added rules. STEP 2.0 is incomplete, and we have chosen to use mod-added rules to make it far easier to apply.

BethINI is mod manager independent. You should be able to use it with Vortex provided it does not override normal game ini setting behavior.

v1.0.0 - Feedback & Bug Reports
DoubleYou replied to z929669's topic in Step Fallout New Vegas Guide
You may want to verify in xEdit, but typically these kind of patches need to be loaded at the bottom of the load order to work as intended. The mod is new enough that it probably has not been added to the LOOT masterlist for correct sorting. -
Can Not Copy Resource / The system cannot find the path specified
DoubleYou replied to ravenRpg38's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Your image shows your output as being on drive D, while your logs indicate everything is on drive C. I'm not sure why... do you have the output set to the wrong drive letter? -
Now that's a cool bug. I have never seen that before, but then, you do have some fancy INI tweaks in there. You're sure you only used BethINI? It looks like you need to just follow the instructions on my mod page for first time setup... resetting to Default and applying a preset (probably Medium or High). I believe the setting causing the issue is likely fMeshLODFadeScalar in Fallout4Prefs.ini. You have it set to 3. It is normally set to 1. I've never heard of someone increasing this value to any good effect.

Mod Brainstorming Mega-Thread
DoubleYou replied to Ruedii's topic in General Skyrim SE Discussion & Support
Moved this to the General Skyrim SE Discussion forum. The mod you describe already exists, at least partially: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/55051 -
I manually changed them before I hit start. I can alter the mesh mask slightly.

I am making custom rules that load with a mod, but the following rules are always overridden as follows: fxwaterfallbody,None,Level1,Level2,None,FarLOD,Unchanged,1,DynDOLOD_SSE_all_dynamic.ini dlc2cliffbasalt,Level0,Level1,Level1,None,FarLOD,Unchanged,0,DynDOLOD_SSE_High.ini dlc2dwecluttercolmlarge01,Full,None,None,None,FarLOD,Unchanged,0,DynDOLOD_SSE_High.ini dlc2dwe,Level0,Level1,Level1,None,FarLOD,Unchanged,0,DynDOLOD_SSE_High.ini redorantemple01,Level0,Level1,Level1,None,FarLOD,Unchanged,1,DynDOLOD_SSE_High.ini windhelmbridge,Level0,Level1,Level2,None,None,Unchanged,5,DynDOLOD_SSE_High.ini All the other rules load fine. I have attached my rules INI file. DynDOLOD_SSE_maptweaksesp_high.ini

So I finally tracked this down to Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB's fxcameraattachblowingfog.nif. Hiding the file solves the issue for now, but I probably need to find out more about it.

ACCEPTED Majestic Mountains (by T4gtr34um3r)
DoubleYou replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim SE Mods
We recommend turning off the buggy snow shader and only using projected diffuse in combination with Better Dynamic Snow, as is instructed in our guide. See this thread for some more details.- 90 replies

You have in the OP that you vote for Darkside. You should probably change that Hmmm... I don't think I can judge solely from the compares. Probably need to just load it up in game to be sure on that one. I agree that Darkside appears too dark, however.- 90 replies

Favorite way to make money: enchant expensive items before you sell it. Don't care the level of enchantment... just enchant the thing. Buy all the filled soul gems you can get and enchant using the highest dollar value enchantment. Jewelry is my biggest target, and if you can craft it, all the better. In the beginning, I generally become a thief. I pickpocket everyone, jewelry especially. These items can be sold to the Thieves Guild at a profit. Especially if you enchant them too. However, one trick I've learned is you can steal a simple ring, craft it with a gem to a new piece of jewelry, and it will no longer be marked stolen, and you can sell it to the normal merchants. I also like to steal all the silver ingots in Dragonsreach and Jorrvaskr. Then I craft them into jewelry, enchant them, and sell them. Don't forget to get an Amulet of Dibella as soon as you can find one, as that increases the amount of money generated from buying/selling. Masque of Clavicus Vile is fantastic too, and I always keep it on me and hotkey it to a slot specifically for buying/selling along with other similar items. Dark Brotherhood questline is very lucrative. Especially after killing Cicero, you can take his Cicero's Clothes, which give a 20% bonus to buying/selling.

You're profiles should be auto-detected by BethINI. If it is not, you will have to navigate there manually.
