z929669
OK, marking as accepted for STEP:Extended next release. Just need to finalize the recommendation and create the mod page.
Octopuss
Ren, I really like the installer. The mod is just about perfect now :) P.S. Shouldn't this thread be moved now that it's accepted?
DoubleYou
Accepted mods are only moved to the anthology upon release of the STEP version containing it.
Octopuss
I have to say I really like Ren's drawing. After looking at ingame pictures of the stuff all the time, suddenly seeingjust made me chuckle.
DoubleYou
Are we going to leave the choices up to users, or recommend certain options?
EssArrBee
I vote for my choices. :p
DoYouEvenModBro
I think the options suggested in Neo's guide are the best. It's most likely user preference though.
TechAngel85
I think user preference until someone complains that we haven't given them direction (because someone will eventually). They're only textures, so it's not going to matter too much.
DoubleYou
The fomod is very detailed, so I can live with that.
redirishlord
These look so good I've forgotten what vanilla looked like. After checking some pics it looks like Ren's are quite close to vanilla, just enhanced color/texture and subtly different alternate versions. I think both choices are lore friendly enough to leave it up to the user to decide when installing.
lxsapper
I'm Following the 2.2.9 guide (slowly) and just got to this part and I'm now a bit confused, in the very same section it recomends the mod https://wiki.step-project.com/Mystery_Modders_Shrines_HDAren't this two mods intent to change the same objects? Is there a purpose to installing one and then the other? Isn't Ren's mod jus overwriting Mystery Modders Shrines? or does Mystery modders change something not covered by Ren's? TechAngel85
One is for Core and one is for Extended
lxsapper
Silly me I thought I was following the core guide. Now I realized that by installing every mod on the list (not just the ones with the green bar, I've been following the guide for Extended.
TechAngel85
If you intend to install Extended then install it first, copy the profile in MO naming it STEP:Core and then simply uncheck the mods that are Enxtended. That's the easiest way to install both. Other course a couple mods like Consistent Older People will have two have two installations since the mod uses two different verisons (one for Core and one for Extended)
