  1. Marking accepted, assuming Tech's tacit agreement.
  2. I vote to include this in 2.0.0. As the creator, Tech has tested extensively and tacitly approves as well, so I have marked as such.
  3. I vote we accept this outright, since we know we need it. kinks can be worked out if we find any, but that should be simple, since tech created it, and Step is maintaining the mod. Since Tech has approved by virtue of creating this, I will mark as accepted.
  4. What mod manager are you using? Sometimes seemingly random changes to mod list or load order can manifest due to the mod manager resetting or losing track of certain key files. You should validate your current mod list, load order and game INIs (try BethINI)
  5. Discussion topic: Step Guide-Maintenance Framework by Step Modifications Mod-Build curators can access Step's Guide-Maintenance Framework guide and have discussion on this topic.
  6. Those settings are out of date, and we have learned much more from our continued use of the tools and from sheson's feedback. Can you point to the forum post so that I can modify for posterity? In the meantime, these settings are much more up to date, although it's still a WIP. Terrain LOD will never look 'great'. It's just a background for the landscape really. A 'good' result is when you don't notice anything 'bad' in the distance with respect to terrain (no flickering textures, LOD terrain color matches full terrain color, no holes or other artifacts, etc.). I am happy with my terrain LOD when it is not obvious to me in game. EDIT: If you are NOT using Cathedral Landscapes, then the gamma setting in those I linked above should probably be 1.00 or closer to that at least. CL requires a slight increase in terrain brightness, since they package specific terrain LOD textures that only are activated during terrain LODGen.
  7. If we accept this, it will need to be patched. It makes lots of changes, so needs extensive testing against current Step release
  8. This needs to be tested with Smooth Shores for 2.0.0. We will be keeping this, but we will need to patch something if we accept Smooth Shores

  15. I think we need to drop this one (rather, not accept for 2.0.0 ... it wasn't in 1.0.0) if we are adopting A Clear Map of Skyrim and Other Worlds
  16. Tested this and it works fine, but effectively no different from FNIS with Step. I support changing to this just for future compatibility. Thoughts?
  17. Yes, makes perfect sense ... I will add a note to the mod page on this if not there already ... however, this mod would then be in competition with Improved Clouds Mesh, so we will need to take a look at both I would think. EDIT: looking at the file now, this mod provides textures only, so we will need to look at current load order for conflicts with both of these mods installed along with L&W. If anyone out there can do this, it would be helpful.
  18. @TechAngel85 We may want to use the dimmer glowmaps option with ENB ... at least we should make this has an ENB option, since dimmer glowmaps may be better for ENB. I don't have compares, but thought you may have some opinion working on ENB
  19. This one seems redundant for 2.0.0 but maybe not ... do we need to reevaluate along with the cloud meshes in testing or with CL options?
  20. This is probably a OS issue as described
