Generate a custom .lod for custom worldspace

Use LodFileGenerator to generate a proper .lod file. Additional information on generating custom LOD for your worldspace may be found here: https://dyndolod.info/Mod-Authors Also of interest you may find this guide by Jonx0r (author of Wyrmstooth) which has much information that is mostly correct for a lot of things. Some things could be done more simply, especially relating to LODs, but it is very high quality nonetheless and on point. Especially of interest is his guide to changing the clouds for the world map. I recommend a simpler approach, however, and just remove them altogether by pointing them to a blank Cloud Model. You may be able to reuse the model from Solstheim however (DLC02\Sky\DLC2WorldMapCloudBank_Low.nif), as it is a smaller worldspace. -
Which fade settings are you trying to adjust? If grass fade or light fade, you cannot fully adjust these in game since the game does not fully support the relevant settings. Actor fade, object fade, item fade should be able to be changed in game to obvious effect. If you have your ini files set to read only, you will not be able to set these settings in game. If the INI files are in a UAC controlled folder, that will also prevent modification. Install location of Mod Organizer itself doesn't matter, but it is not recommended to have the mods folder on a different drive from the game folder. Paths can be redirected in Mod Organizer Settings. Steam supports moving the game folder to alternate locations as well, so you can move both off your slow C drive. Mod Organizer itself can be on the C drive if desired, but the game file paths should be redirected to be on the same drive as the game if doing so. It is recommended to follow the System Setup Guide to set up everything correctly.

There are additional items included in the Step Patches besides mentioned above. You can examine the plugin to see all the changes, but it is somewhat more than just conflict resolution. -
Mods have the ability to overwrite some settings, but not this setting. As long as you set it here, and don't reselect a preset, it will be fine.

This is my opinion here too. It looks great for where it is working, but there needs to be mods built around this to be a fully immersive experience. I'm honestly impressed with how good it looks in most places. It's still new, so I have hope for the future. And the framework looks very simple to implement. Just getting everything to work together with this would be most impressive.

You say you are using version 3, but your description reads like you are using version 2. If you don't change the rules, the map will not receive the intended lods for LOD32. Ensure you are downloading the DynDOLOD 3.0.0 Miscellaneous file: -
Some nice screens: I feel like I want that heavy snowed upon roof in other places. These shots are using all the relevant Seasons of Skyrim mods I have placed in testing. I have some more screens with issues that I'll add separately so I can log all the problems that should be resolved.

Transition from Solstheim to Tamriel and back again is seamless. Additional shots: You can really see Red Mountain from very far away. I almost wish it were smaller now. I might try without Better Dyndolod Red Mountain Plume next generation to see if it lessens it. You can see it from Whiterun.- 80 replies

I have moved your post. It is unclear as to what version of DynDOLOD you are using. Please specify if you are using version 2 or version 3. The setting is actually Level32=1, not lodlevel32=1, so check to make sure that isn't the problem. I don't know how you are determining that it "doesn't create the option." The GUI doesn't change when you set the setting. It merely instructs DynDOLOD to create LOD32 object LOD files. If using DynDOLOD 2, the LOD32 will be created as a mirror of LOD16 rules, and LOD32 rule changes will be unavailable. -

Warning! Version 3.0 update installation is completely different from previous versions! Please read instructions! Version 3.0 uploaded: Added ACMOS Road Generator tool. You must now use this on your terrain LOD to paint roads on the terrain LOD textures. This is a much better solution for so many reasons, and fixes several otherwise unfixable bugs. This also enables automatic compatibility with Seasons of Skyrim and Worldspace Transition Tweaks. Stripped pregenerated LOD32 files from the FOMOD, as they are no longer necessary with the ACMOS Road Generator Tool. Updated DynDOLOD rules to account for the Tundra Homestead Creation Club content (no, this is not a requirement). Updated weathers. I will work on updating the Step instructions next.- 85 replies

Discussion topic: Seasonal Aspen Trees - Seasons of Skyrim SKSE by Zeknapain Wiki Link Based off assets provided by mindflux, this mod creates seasonal variants of the Aspens, and it appears to include new DynDOLOD 3 models. @z929669 might have to confirm that last bit, but the folder structure looks right. Testing notes: Remove Aspen's Ablaze and Aspen's Ablaze Addon - DynDOLOD 3 Test performance and appearance of 3D lods with Level0 in LOD4. Check for trees not changing with the seasons.

Discussion topic: Seasonal Alchemy by Charamei Wiki Link This mod makes plants grow and die with the seasons. Fixes issue where some plants without winter variants grow in the winter. Testing notes: Check conflict with Shrubs of Snow to see if modifying the INI file may improve appearance.

I fixed it: Problem was Nvidia Control Panel is junk. I updated the drivers last time and reset all the settings, and evidently it messed up the settings I use for GSync to set it to only work in Fullscreen mode. Correct settings for GSync + VSync in windowed mode: Correct settings for GSync uncapped fps in windowed mode: Also, my refresh rate was wrong on the monitor settings. It was set to 60 HZ when it was supposed to be set to 75 HZ.
