  1. Thanks for the info, Tannin, that it doesn't need to be run as administrator. BTW, the Troubleshooting section in the Downloading Mods tab contains all the methods currently known to fix the association issue, besides changing the NMM version number, including the answer to this thread.
  2. Major update while I've been rotting on a bus. I've decided to take the Construction sign down as the wiki is now rather clean.
  3. Both should indeed be cleaned.
  4. Needs patching currently for Clothes and Clutter Fixes, aMidianBorn Content Addon, Cutting Room Floor, The Paarthurnax Dilemma, The Choice is Yours, Unofficial Skyrim Patch, Unofficial Hearthfire Patch, and Unofficial Dawnguard Patch I believe.
  5. It installs just like any other mod. After installation, follow the instructions here to add Reproccer as executable: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#SkyProc_Patchers
  6. Don't install Reproccer to the data directory. Install it inside Mod Organizer.
  7. Well then, I'll just change this to only recommend Fertigo Pro!
  8. So, are we moving this to fixes?
  9. I was testing this out in-game, and I think we should NOT recommend Magic Cards. It overflows rather often. Centaur is better than Magic Cards in this I know. I'm going to test out Fertigo Pro next to see if that one is better.
  10. Hmmm... I just realized I prefer vanilla to this mod (of all the nerve!). I think I might check out Cinematic Fire Effects...
  11. Okay, I finally have looked into this, and no, you should not hide those two files from the SMIM Patch. It would stand to reason that we could remove the instructions to remove those from the regular one as well, since SMIM meshes redirect them and the net effect would be zero.
  12. LOOT will work, with much updating, etc, to its database. I really don't have the time to be developing LOOT, so I'll stick with BOSS until LOOT is more viable.
  13. Nice! I made my own 2.2.9 core patch (not perfect, but good enough) in the meantime and have been using individual patching for extended (gives me an extra 50 plugin count). Been playing a personal profile of mine largely STEP 2.2.9 but without the Skyrim Distance Overhaul, Skyrim Flora Overhaul, and with Gamwich textures to improve performance. Keeping a nice average around 30fps on my 768 MB video card.
  14. You have a lot of non-step mods, so it most likely is a compatibility problem somewhere. Mod Organizer does typically take longer to load than vanilla. That's because of the VFS it has to initiate.
  15. Hmmm I'm having no trouble. Did you forget to place the checkmark beside the patchers installs to enable them inside the VFS?
  16. Been using 1.7 alpha for awhile now. Just had my first ILS in a while, and I think it was simply because my laptop was getting too hot.
  17. SkyRe works just fine last time I checked, although admittedly, I haven't tested SkyRe since several revisions ago.
  18. Most of the time I've found this to happen with bad plugins, although sometimes a reinstall of Wrye Bash mysteriously fixes it, or a revert to default settings in bash and repatch. Most annoying.
  19. Those three patches didn't exist at the time of the STEP Patches. Nevertheless, we had patched these into the STEP Patches already, because we're masters of compatibility ;)
  20. Should work, albeit that adds an extra step ;)
  21. Most of the time I disable internet and antivirus before starting Skyrim.
  22. You didn't happen to have Helgen Reborn active at the beginning at Helgen? Because that will give you a scripted crash.
  23. Meh, tested this out some more and I'm dropping more like 15fps when I change looking directions in Whiterun outskirts. I actually get better performance than that on ugridstoload=9...
  24. Maybe the rings, but not the amulets.
