  1. Did it really say to try to run as administrator? Because it always has big bold red letters when you're only running ENBoost. It should say... Patch speedhack something ENBoost turned on. Graphics modification disabled. And in big bold red letters. If it say that, it's working. No touchy!
  2. You only need this DirectX file https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
  3. Let's leave that for another day. Right now, let's release 2.2.9.2. FOV 65 console produces no change for me, but fov 75, etc., does. Further testing at a later date.
  4. Well if that the case, than that is EXACTLY what the FOV tweak in the STEP Configuration Settings Guide is (Except for the one setting which the author misplaced into the wrong INI file and INI section)! So that isn't new. I wouldn't be surprised if my FOV INI tweak actually does persist, but that all the naysayers simply had the settings in the wrong places.
  5. Now I'm confused. Default FOV is 65. That's how it is in the INI files, and it has nothing to do with AR in the game. No matter what the resolution is, it will be 65. Unless you change it.
  6. Check out the linked Configuration Settings guide and add in the tweaks manually.
  7. OK, so now we're finally making sense of it. The description made it too confusing, that's for sure. That supposed permanent FOV fix is bogus. It violates the following value rules I discovered and added to the STEP Configuration Settings guide: The fov settings only accept floating point numbers. X is not a number, so the setting will be read as not equaling anything (i.e., blank), which will reset it to its default value, which is 65.
  8. The one you mention is not the June 10 one. You ran the DirectX 10 one. ENBoost requires the DirectX 11 one, which is called June 2010 to confuse people who are not smarter than a fifth grader. And what the heck is Default Pack.exe??? Never ran an executable called that in my life. You sure it isn't a virus?
  9. You're right. Forgot about that. We could just add that to the instructions. ; Enables settings for changing fov bEnableFOVOverride=1 ; Settings for changing fov fFirstPersonFOV=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVSitting=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVCrafting=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVKnockout=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVDeath=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVCannibal=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVVampireFeed=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVMounted=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVMountedCombat=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVMountTransition=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVWerewolf=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVVampireLord=70.59 fFirstPersonFOVScripted=70.59 fThirdPersonFOV=70.59
  10. I'm working on it! Patience!

  12. What do ya'll think about adding the fov INI tweaks? It is believed to not persist, but I'm not certain.
  13. OK, so I finally figured out the calculator. Because the default is 65, not 75, 16:9 AR should be 70 - 71, and 4:3 AR should be 56. I'm gonna update that section with that info.
  14. Where did all this originate? I know there is at least one error with it: Skyrim's default fov is 65, not 75. It is near impossible to use that conversion calculator as well.
  15. Removed link to Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade-Weapons and Armor Fixes LOOT rule, as LOOT now sorts it correctly.
  16. Removed LOOT rule, as LOOT now sorts it correctly.
  17. Removed reference to remove script file as there is no conflict, and trying to remove it to solve MO PMOP is a useless game. Removed LOOT rule, as LOOT now sorts it correctly.
  18. Marked for Testing. Seems like an easy one to test and add.
  19. Default is 10.0 according to the archive I have. No idea why it's set so low by default.
  20. That actually sounds cool!
  21. In case you didn't know... Fallout Launcher does have a section where you can manipulate load order in it like it did in Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas. It just isn't labeled. Add the following to Fallout4Prefs.ini [Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1 Then click around the bar near the guy's left eye, right about where the smiley and the wink are located on this emoticon (in the launcher, not here!).
  22. I finally saw iTexMipMapMinimum in action. I set it down to 6 for one of my spINI presets (a WIP), and during the intro sequence when there was some intense action during the dragon fight, I noticed some textures getting bumped way down in "quality." So from that, I'd say it sets the minimum amount that the game can bump down in the textures' mipmaps if it decides it needs it. Probably ought not to set it to 6 though. I'm thinking 0 for ultra, 1 for high, 2 for medium and low, and 3 for poor. I'm looking into possible bugs when iTexMipMapMinimum is set to 0, as I think it may be the cause of some crazy texture issues I've noticed (e.g., dragon changing from no mipmap to like mipmap 4 at times). I'm really liking the idea of recommending to change this to at least 1.
  23. I think we're going to have to recommend a new game this time, what with USLEEP, Footprints, and DynDoLOD all recommending it. Gonna have to do new game or suffer bugs.
  24. I disagree with the conclusion that it is the RaceMenuPlugin.esp. This sounds like you accidentally activated the ENB framerate limiter while typing your characters name, or perhaps while adjusting the values. This will automatically limit your framerate to around 10 fps by default, which is awful close to 12 fps. To fix this, set the limiter to something high, like 60, in ENBLocal.ini [LIMITER] WaitBusyRenderer=false EnableFPSLimit=false FPSLimit=60.0 The default hotkey for the ENB framerate limiter is the Num Lock key, which can be easy to bump. Happened to me once and freaked me out.
