  1. I doubt it. I haven't experienced it. You can always try restoring a backup and seeing if that makes a difference.
  2. VM freezing, etc., is referring to the Papyrus scripting virtual machine getting stuck and unstuck. If you tweaked papyrus settings in your INI files, that may be the cause, or tweaking them may help.
  3. Hmmm. The problem is that the texture will be the same no matter the soil, and the vanilla one doesn't even fit in, so that is merely a matter of where this occurs. I actually think this texture fits in better, since vanilla has an unnaturally brightened look to it. And this one is higher resolution.
  4. STEP --> This Mod (2k-1k) I didn't test the footprints yet, as I missed that optional somehow.
  5. I didn't realize this wasn't marked for testing, so... Marked for Testing.
  6. Hmmm... I wonder with what, as I don't really have any other mod modifying that spot that I'm aware of. Just STEP Extended.
  7. I found this very drunk guard in Riften.
  8. Someday I'll update to 3.01. One thing I've learned when doing a playthrough, don't do too many updates.
  9. Puts Skyrim in windowed mode instead of full screen. It should have an infotip if you hover over it. bFull Screen=0
  10. LOL. I just finished the Battle of Solitude, and guess who I found roaming the streets during the fight... I can hear their father and mother talking now: "Honey, where are the kids?" "Oh, they went to play tag." "But there's a battle going on, and fire, and soldiers!" "Don't worry, dear. They're essential. They're impossible to kill." "Not if Non-Essential Children is installed!!!" "Oh. Right."
  11. If you have 6GB RAM, you don't need any more RAM. Just the video card would do.
  12. The guy is not a native English speaker. Sounds more like a translation issue to me.
  13. From what I'm reading, it is supposed to improve stability at the cost of performance. I think I like performance better, if that's the case.
  14. Hmmm... Might be best to get a laptop with an APU and put some high-speed RAM in it.
  15. I would agree.
  16. Oh. I didn't realize what 3D Vision was. Sorry, but I have no idea. I thought I remember there being some mod out there for playing Skyrim in 3D.
  17. A GTX 980 would be more than enough. A GTX 960 probably will be fine, or a R9 380. You can get those on sale for around $160 range. Or you can look at similar cards in the link I posted above. As for a GTX 940m at 1366x768, Ultra STEP would kill it (source). It'd be playable, I'd reckon, at around Medium. What's the price range you're looking at?
  18. Could you post a screenshot of the weird moons/water, cause I have no idea what you are describing.
  19. Newegg has the 500GB and 1TB Samsung 850 EVOs on sale right now for $139 and $271 respectively after promo codes (ESCEGFH34 and ESCEGFH29 respectively). My MO + Skyrim is taking up a mere 50GB right now.
  20. You neglected to tell your monitor resolution. That is most important. Here's the ultimate for upgrading your GPU. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html You probably want one in the top six tiers.
  21. Removed from Testing since this is now a part of Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade.
  22. It doesn't take much to get to level 5. Immersive Citizens is the only one that "requires" a new game, IIRC.
  23. Perhaps disabling the Steam Overlay might fix it. Note to self: Don't participate in the Steam beta.
  24. Excellent. We definitely want that fix in too.
  25. I hope the Dark Brotherhood Mask fix makes it so that more than just female humanlike characters will have the actual mask on the masked version, cause that's always bugged me, and pretty much the only reason why I always play a female character.
