Well, it's impossible for that to have been the problem, because Skyrim automatically changes that line to 4 at startup no matter what it is set to.

GUIDE Guide:Skyrim Configuration Settings
DoubleYou replied to Octopuss's topic in Unofficial Skyrim LE Guides
Just some blank textures would do. I think Enhanced Blood Textures has an option for this as well.- 46 replies

Forgot about the VRAMTest tool for that. Yes, 4064 for DX9. ~61792 for DX11 (this value seems to vary whenever I launch it). I really don't understand the DX11 value. I have 4gb VRAM and 16 GB RAM, so the max should be closer to 18000. Perhaps somehow it counts part of my SSD or something toward it??? Either that or it is simply buggy.

Go to the page to see the photos on the reddit page to see what they look like up close. Too small here. That is insightful. Is this testing with the latest Windows 10 version? Because I noticed that Microsoft fixed some major game issues with the latest version that i had had originally, and perhaps they silently changed this. Go to Settings --> System --> About and what is your version and build numbers?

Black Circles, z-fighting and texture shimmering
DoubleYou replied to torminater's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Do you get any ILS now with the settings? You can simply make fBlockMaximumDistance=95000 and leave the other settings the same and it would probably work. -

DoubleYou replied to torminater's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Sorry, but you sound like you're talking about ENBoost, which is not what I was referring to. I was talking about the CTD and ILS fix as described here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6726-common-ctds-freezes-ils-and-memory-issues/ -

Do you not have the Sheson memory patch enabled? I've been using it for quite a while now without issue. -
SKYRIMLE Blowing in the Wind (by sialivi)
DoubleYou replied to SoonerMagicEE's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I wonder if lowering the grass wind speed would lessen the effect. -
Well, 41 said that the issue went away when he disabled the STEP Extended Patch, so I opened it up in TES5Edit and looked to see if it modified Haemar's Shame. It did not. However, some of the SMIM ESP changes that we merge in are referenced to some ground cave mesh file paths that Brumbek changed, so on a hunch I launched the game without SMIM by simply unchecking the entire SMIM mod. As I expected, since the mesh file path pointed to a non-existent file, there simply was no floor at the exact same location in the photos.
-
I figured out your problem. You must have either not installed SMIM or have not installed it correctly/completely.

That does look promising. -
Well, I just went to the location, and the ground was there, so I don't know what to tell you.
-
Dude, from that second photo, your graphics card looks like it is going nuts. You overclock it? I didn't notice this when I went through Haemar's Shame.

Uploaded Version 1.1 Fixed some settings affecting the blur shader that were incorrectly placed. Thanks compleCCity! The installer no longer appends "Fallout 3" to the end of the selected directory when browsing to the correct install folder. When the installer fails to find the Fallout 3 directory from the registry, it now correctly defaults to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3.

I finally finished the Dragonborn questline for the first time just recently. I was actually a little disappointed. I thought the Dawnguard questline was much better, ironically. I'm surprised that Dawnguard gets such a bad rap in comparison. I agree that the shots look promising. Can't say I remember even seeing those "lava craters."

New Children is just a retexture. You don't need the modded hat meshes. Nice knowing that last compatibility improvement.

ACCEPTED Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade (by kryptopyr)

Priority should not matter. I use Cloaks of Skyrim in this way too, and it works admirably so far. I do not know if you can do the customization you desire, however. -
I believe illegal aliens exist. I think ghosts may exist. I think extraterrestrial aliens possibly exist. I believe one God exists, possibly consistent of multiple entities. I know I exist. I think you may exist. What I think or believe does not change whether or not any of the above do, in fact, exist. This is what I believe.

Fry's regularly has the pro licenses for $110.

Good catch. You are correct. To fix, simply remove the [backgroundload] section and paste the following in its place. I will try to upload a hotfix later this week. [BlurShader] fAlphaAddInterior=0.7 [BlurShaderHDR] fBlurRadius=7 fBrightClamp=0.225 fBrightScale=2.25 fEyeAdaptSpeed=0.5 fGrassDimmer=1.5 fSunlightDimmer=1.5 fTargetLUM=1 fTreeDimmer=1 iNumBlurpasses=1

What version is "the latest version"? I use an alpha build myself. It is likely that the downloads didn't fully complete. -

It's a Category page. I don't think you can put descriptions on a Category page. But the category showing sub-categories can be useful. -
A Tale of Two Computers – One STEP Install
DoubleYou replied to Bandy's question in General Skyrim LE Support
After reading Arthmoor's really helpful guide to the Papyrus log here, I see that my description was inaccurate. According to Arthmoor, the VM freezing, etc., messages "merely tell you the Papyrus VM has halted to allow you to save (or load) the game. They don't mean the game engine froze up and stopped responding as SOME sites have erroneously reported." This makes more sense.
