  1. Copy the Skyrim game files too in order to save download time (Steam will automatically see them and not redownload them, provided they are in the right location, of course).
  2. That will not affect shadow striping.
  3. Simplified it a bit for you.
  4. Tech, you do realize that all you need to get bold text on the wiki is enclose it in triple apostrophes... '''This text will be bold''' {{fc|red|'''This red text will be bold'''}}
  5. Looks like someone getting their hands dirty with the TESV executable. Might be of use, but I'd let it flesh out before potentially trying it. It is interesting, as are some of the other notes he has on the page.
  6. Depending on the preset selected, they might be set to different values.
  7. My Utilities guide can absorb them.
  8. Perhaps the SFW link is being employed to good effect.
  9. In ENBLocal.ini, change EnableProxyLibrary=true to EnableProxyLibrary=false and see if that fixes the issue.
  10. Thanks for pointing that out. It seems when Z revised them awhile back, he removed the part where Update.esm needs to be checked in the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC cleaning instructions, and therefore is a bug in our instructions. I only corrected the mistake in the Hearthfire instructions it seems. Fixed.
  11. Thanks. Please post the contents of your enblocal.ini
  12. That only works for explicit dependencies. Update.esm is an implicit dependency of the DLC, so it should also be selected when cleaning the DLC. Source: https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/TES5Edit_Cleaning_Guide_-_TES5Edit
  13. Man I wish I knew how you are getting DirectX 11 messages from a DirectX 9 game! Please provide a list of the filenames of all files within the main Skyrim directory. Or a screen shot.
  14. I am pretty sure our instructions do say to select Update.ESM in TES5Edit. If they don't, somebody deleted that step accidentally. As to AI, It doesn't hurt to use it in Syria, although it may not do anything at all. Same goes for Backdating BSAs. Please realize as well that video guides do not always get it right, although in both the situations you mention, Gopher is giving sound instruction. Edit: Skyrim, not Syria. Stupid autocorrect!
  15. Well, at least that shows it isn't a problem with our INI settings.
  16. You didn't know that? I did it for an old version of the FOMOD template, but because of how I had to redesign it, I couldn't put it into the form no longer (too complex).
  17. Might just add it to the Mod form.
  18. Looks like a random cubemap glitch (the water has no ripples, i.e., no cubemap reflection) at that spot. It probably will go away if you approach it.
  19. Well I doubt my slow 49 kB/s upload speed will work.
  20. Okay. Try perhaps lowering fGrassFadeRange to 5000 and see if that makes a difference.
  21. Okay, my head stopped hurting and I finally got it working again after brushing up on my inline queries. Thank God for wikis about Mediawiki! You just got to RTFM sometimes.
  22. Does lowering fGrassStartFadeDistance in SkyrimPrefs.ini down to 1000 help?
  23. Hmm... strange. Somebody royally screwed it up somehow, and I'm not sure how. Edit: Think I found the problem, which means I may have a major code rewrite on my hands. Not fun. It seems it only adds the mods that are currently in STEP that have the MergedMods tag. Gonna need to convert this so that it goes through all mods with the MergedMods tag. Edit2: God, my head hurts. I got a list up, but it ain't pretty, as I can't figure out for the life of me how to make it work again. If Z or S4N could fix it, I'd be obliged.
  24. Never seen that kind of grass behavior. Please post your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini
