  1. It pairs extremely well with BA Bard Songs.
  2. Discussion topic: College of Winterhold - Quest Expansion by JaySerpa Wiki Link At Your Own Pace has a College Quest Expansion Patch available for this mod under the Optional Files.
  3. I wasn't sure if either of those mods did that or not.
  4. Does xLODGen need to be run every time DynDOLOD Resources SE 3 and DynDOLOD DLL NG are updated?
  5. Discussion topic: BA Bard Songs by Shiiholude Wiki Link Adds bard drum, flute, and lute instrumental songs to the taverns.
  6. Discussion topic: Bard Instrumentals Mostly - Sing Rarely by BanjoBunny Wiki Link Tired of the bards singing the same two songs over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over? This mod makes them sing those two songs less.
  7. Discussion topic: Dynamic Lowered Hoods by Parapets Wiki Link Requires Dynamic Armor Variants which requires three other mods (including UIExtensions which STEP does not currently incorporate but is currently in testing). There's also a fix for mannequins, cemeteries, and Dark Brotherhood abduction functionality. EDIT: Installing the Hidden Equipment addon within the required mod, Dynamic Armor Variants, causes the nymphs from Saints and Seducers to become invisible inside dwellings (probably affects all pets but I haven't tested).
  8. I just prefer the vanilla/SkyUI look over the DDDM look. DDDM isn't terrible by any means, just personal preference that may be changed over time getting used to it. DDDM does incorporate a lot of other mods into it however so I can understand why people would want to use it, including the STEP guide (less mods to install and maintain). Yes, I did install Infinty UI since CNO lists it as a required mod on their page. Yes, I also installed DDDM - CNO Updated Patch as well. I was experiencing the same missing markers in the compass without it so I searched for a patch. Not really certain about the compatibility of the patch with CoMAP 4.0, I was just referring to the comment made by the mod author of CNO. So the patch needs to be updated then, eh?
  9. I haven't had a CTD while using this mod like some of the users are reporting...yet. Maybe corruption builds up over time? Or maybe it's an incompatibility with other mods that those users have installed such as MCO?
  10. Discussion topic: Valhalla Combat by dTry Wiki Link Requires TrueHUD Not sure if this mod goes against the STEP mandate but I'm really liking this one.
  11. I'm giving the warm version of DDDM a try. I'm attempting to force myself to like it. But there's aspects of the vanilla SkyUI that I like better. I did just install CNO and the patch to make it work with DDDM and really like what CNO does. There's also a RaceMenu patcher for DDDM which requires the installation of DIP in order to create the patch. Oh, and the mod author of CNO has apparently made it compatible with CoMAP 4.0 so the DLL workaround is no longer needed.
  12. Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but this mod has a widescreen fix for Extended UI under the optional files (for those of us who don't like or want to use Dear Diary).
  13. Discussion topic: FYX - Windhelm Entrance by Yuril Wiki Link May need the Windhelm Entrance Fix - ELFX Exterior PATCH optional file as well. Not necessary ~z929669 EDIT: There is also this mod, SB - Fixed Windhelm Entrance, which apparently incorporates the FYX entrance fix as well as a few other things. Not sure, but the dummy models added to the worldspace (seen when opening gates) may cause issues with DynDOLOD. Just tested in-game without this alternate mod. The 'empty spaces visible when opening gates' isn't present in my STEP build so I'm guessing DynDOLOD already corrects this?
  14. Good to know. So, it is safer to use the FYX version of the Windhelm entrance offset fix?
  15. Genuinely curious, which requirement are you referring to? The Base Object Swapper page shows "Address Library for SKSE Plugins" and "Powerofthree's Tweaks" as requirements (both of which are currently in the STEP guide). Or does Base Object Swapper itself have a conflict with a mod in the STEP guide?
  16. I'm ignorant, what is thew connection between the two? Does BOS modify the Windhelm entrance? EDIT: Never mind. When my mouse hovered over BOS on your post, the pop up text said Book of Silence.
  17. Mod has been updated and the FOMOD options appear to be different than shown on the STEP guide.
  18. Discussion topic: FYX - Windhelm Graveyard by Yuril Wiki Link This mod requires YAR - Yuril's Additional Resources The mod author, Yuril, actually has an entire series of FYX mods that may be of interest.
  19. Discussion topic: Windhelm Entrance Offset Fix by wSkeever Wiki Link This mod requires Base Object Swapper I never noticed this before, but once you see it, you can't unsee it. EDIT: I just noticed that Yuril has a mod to fix the offset entrance as well but this mod by wSkeever has no esp nor does the required mod.
  20. It seems the DynDOLOD GUI configuration tool has changed a bit...
  21. I just installed the mod authors Use Those Blankets mod. Never occurred to me before but yeah it's odd that they don't sleep under blankets in Skyrim. LOL
  22. Just stumbled across this mod. I think I'll give it a try.
  23. I'm curious. What are some other animation mods you recommend trying out?
  24. Interesting. I gave up on DAR a long time ago when it seemed it wasn't going to get an update. Maybe I'll give this a try.
  25. Updated version no longer has 'Whiterun Exterior' as an option to check.
