Octopuss Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Nope, it doesn't, sadly.I guess you can use the patch then, if you don't want to manually move plugins in the list.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Nope, it doesn't, sadly.I guess you can use the patch then, if you don't want to manually move plugins in the list.Oh. Well why didn't you use the patch man!!! It says in the STEP guide to use it, right?
DoYouEvenModBro Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Nvm, the STEP patch includes that Patch so it doesn't actually mention it in the W&A fixes description. So if you don't use the STEP Patch (like myself), then you would have missed that. Makes sense.
DoubleYou Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I think Wrye Bash STATS tag actually fixes this, now that I think about it.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Two questions: 1.) Since when, and why, does STEP now recommend the COMPLETE PLUS version. I think it used to say to install the COMPLETE version. 2.) Why doesn't it say to install the optional Amidianborn Skyforge Weapons Patch in the instructions in the guide?
EssArrBee Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 The patch is included in the STEP Patches. Also, we are going to the AMB Content AddOn and it will not be needed to use that patch anymore anyways.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Makes sense. Thanks. What about the decision to switch from COMPLETE WAF to COMPLETE PLUS WAF?
EssArrBee Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 I didn't even know that we switched until mentioned it and I looked at the page. Someone ninja edited the page and didn't say that we were switching it. Unless I just missed that.
DoubleYou Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 That evidently was Z's edit. Are we sure we want that version?
TechAngel85 Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 The mod is Core so the stat changes may be against mandate. We'll have to figure out if the changes those optionals in the PLUS version can be considered fixes or are more personal edits. From the descriptions they sound more like fixes but I haven't reviewed them in TES5Edit.
EssArrBee Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Looks like weapon progression. Don't know how it all fits in with lore since Skyrim basically took the TES out back and shot it in the head. I'm sure krytopyr probably just tried to make the whole list of weapons make some more sense in the A is weaker than B is weaker than C instead of A is stronger than B and the same as C.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I do like the idea of faster arrows at least. I do feel that the arrows always felt a big slow.
TechAngel85 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 The faster arrows I have no issue with. Some of those tweaks used to be in STEP at one point and I've quite missed them. From the descriptions, I wouldn't say I have an issue with any of the PLUS content and the changes make sense to better be consistent with the overall game and DLCs.
Kelmych Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I agree. All of the changes in the Plus version of WAF look to me like fixes.
