IIRC, I believe CaBaL updated those textures after BoS was released, and the updated ones never got in BoS. -

By Team guru, do you mean Unofficial Patch team? On the AFKMods forum they have a chat feature, and Arthmoor is on there most nights. -

FYI, v2.0 of UFO4P is live. Edit: A few changes were indeed made from the beta. -
Free (or Cheap) Games & Giveaways

I just wanted to give another shout out for the Humble Freedom Bundle. $30, all proceeds go to charity, with Humble matching up to $300k. Charities are ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) and the International Rescue Committee. You choose where the money goes. 56 games and counting (they added more a few times already), 5 e-books, 2 audio books, a music album, a comic series, and a video series. Some great games in there, such as Super Meat Boy, The Witness, Stardew Valley, Mini Metro (both Steam and Android versions), and more. They ran out of Steam Keys for Subnautica, but everything else is still available. 4 days left. Anyway, link here: https://www.humblebundle.com/freedom -

Just got the Freedom Bundle from Humble Bundle. Quite a bit of content (and a good cause, IMO). Anyway, I already owned "The Stanley Parable". Anyone want the Steam Key? -
One question, Bluegunk, was the version of MO2 you used the version that Tannin released (older), or the newer version by LePresidente on this Nexus page?

DROPPED Skyrim - Enhanced Camera (by LogicDragon)

I would vote to remove it. I use it for my game, but the potential issues with the .INI are too confusing for non-advanced users, which is the target audience for STEP. -

Thanks for the heads-up, Ess. I missed it last time, and I was hoping it would come around again. :-) -

F4SE will be borked until it gets updated. The script extender team usually get those updates out fairly quickly for insubstantial patches like this, though. -

The LOOT dev (WrinklyNinja) does not update the masterlist. He expects the community to make pull requests on the relevant GitHub page, or at the very least, submit issues (on the GitHub page) to be followed up on by other members of the community. He has his hands full just developing the tool itself...which is fair enough in my opinion. The trouble is, not enough people know about this and just expect LOOT to "work" 100%...so very few people contribute. I don't know how bad it is for Fallout 4 at the moment--I'm doing my first playthrough right now, which for me means just the Unofficial Patch--but for SSE it is in a bad state. Anyway, each masterlist for a specific game has its own GitHub page. You can submit a pull request or an issue from there. The page for the Fallout 4 masterlist is here: https://github.com/loot/fallout4 -

FYI, UFO4P 2.0 Beta has been released on AFKMods. Absolute ton of Papyrus script fixes among other things. Should be out of beta and on Nexus in a week or two. First "unified" patch by the UP team for FO4 - i.e. requires all DLC. Changelog looks great. -
I like how AdoredTV put it. Paraphrasing: "AMD consistently has better new technology and architecture, but as it can take years for developers to utilize the features, the performance just isn't there." Nvidia just focuses on clockspeed, and the performance (today) shows that. Regardless of the huge "mindshare" advantage that Nvidia has (another thing that AdoredTV mentions quite frequently).

Where is W.A.T.E.R and Sparrowprinces other mods ?

Nothing but love, SP. You're a great modder and a great guy, and I wish you all the best. No sense getting burned out or anything over projects you are no longer interested in pursuing. When / if you do come back, I look forward to whatever you decide to work on. And if not, that's OK too, but I hope you still come and visit us on the forums when you get a chance! :-) Cheers -
GUIDE W3R: The Wild Hunt Revisited (Witcher 3)
Nebulous112 replied to Neovalen's topic in Unsupported Game Guides
Yeah, I had to do some messing around with the script merging to get everything to work. Once I figured out how the script merger program actually worked, it wasn't too bad. This was before Friendly HUD recently updated. Using Steam version. I also ran into some issues with merging the textures from Weather v5. Weather v4 had no issues. See my post here. Anyone else run into this issue? Since you two are doing some testing and documenting issues, I should stop being lazy and do the same. I'll delete my script merge and re-run it tonight and document what I did. Edit: I also installed NPC Scabbards manually after reading Darth's post, as it seems to add an extra "DLC" folder when being installed via NMM. -
ACCEPTED Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) - LITE (by --JawZ--)
Nebulous112 replied to hishutup's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yes. LOOT was updated recently, and the update changed all priority values from very high numbers to max being 127. The wiki has not been updated to reflect this change. I think there are two mods that STEP asks you to manually put priority values in for. In the same order (lowest value in the wiki to the highest value), try putting them at 78 and 79 (if the bashed patch is intrinsically 80). -
DROPPED STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures (by z929669)
Nebulous112 replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
That indicates that the file was corrupted. Either on initial upload or download...since you are the only one reporting this, I assume it is download. If downloading with the "download with manager" button, make sure your antivirus is not running a scan at the same time. Might be a good idea to add your MO folder to your antivirus' exclusions list. You could try downloading manually and adding the file yourself in MO after it is downloaded through the "add from file" button. -
GUIDE W3R: The Wild Hunt Revisited (Witcher 3)

Yeah, I noticed it needs to be installed manually as well after reading your comment earlier this week. Installing through NMM adds an excess folder in the DLC filepath. -

I agree, NWN was an awesome game. :-) My second "real" RPG game after I fell in love with Baldur's Gate II. I never played AC3. I'll have to give it a shot when Ubisoft gives it away. You should give Black Flag another chance, Tech. Not for the standard AC gameplay reasons, but just for the naval battles, sea shanties and the whole "being a pirate" thing. I still get the occasional sea shanty stuck in my head if I think about the game. "What shall we do with a drunken sailor? What shall we do with a drunken sailor? What shall we do with a drunken sailor Early in the morning?" OK, OK, I'll stop. :-P Lol. -

Neverwinter Nights - Diamond Edition is free on GOG.com for the next day and a half. Coincides with their winter sale. Dungeon Keeper is free on Origin. Next free game for Ubisoft's 30th anniversary will be Assassin's Creed III, free starting Dec. 7th I believe. -

GUIDE Tech Enhanced - Mass Effect
Nebulous112 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Unsupported Game Guides
Hey Tech, Thanks for the guide. I finally decided to see what Mass Effect was all about. One thing I noticed is that there is a hotfix available on the MEUITM page that fixes some females having no eyebrows with the original file. It is not installed via an installer like the main file; instead this patch needs to be installed manually. Also, a few things to point out regarding the Origin installation - you mention downloading the v1.02 patch, but that is not needed if downloaded from Origin. Also, you might want to mention that the Origin version automatically comes with both DLCs...it is a pain in the ass to get them working on the Steam version from what I have read. Both were originally being given out free, but the official download for one of them was taken down by EA earlier this year. Lastly, I have read that it may be necessary to force Origin to not automatically update games, or it will completely screw with the changes made (I have not tested this myself). Besides that, this small guide seems great. Just what I was looking for. :-) Thanks again. -
