  1. You are misunderstanding. The "optional" doesn't mean it is optional for you to download it, it means it is under the "optional" heading on the files tab. Every file that Neo lists must be downloaded and every instruction must be followed if you want a guaranteed stable game.
  2. Did you just download the DX9 runtime, or did you install them? The first .exe will have you extract the files to a folder of your choosing. Then in that folder you need to run DXSetup.exe. Edit: You also need to remove those DX11 files you added, dxgi and d3d11. Adding those will cause crashes on Win 10, not fix them.
  3. If you click the above link (in the quote in the post above yours) it will take you to the SR:LE instructions for the Ruffled Feather. You can always do a ctrl-f on the page to search the page for a specific term, as well.
  4. Can you provide a link to where ICA says that a bug was irrelevant? That is not really in his character. You have the Crash Fixes preloader? SKSE files?
  5. Thanks for the update, Neo. :-)
  6. That sounds right. You need to load the Skyrim Immersive Creatures - DLC2.esp. If you don't have it, you may have installed Skyrim Immersive Creatures incorrectly.
  7. Yeah, I don't really know what to tell you. Since you missed the Creature Addon for FNIS, it is very possible you missed other instructions in SR:LE as well. This could be causing the issue. I would suggest going through the guide with a fine-tooth comb and checking it against your MO install to verify you have done all the instructions. Then start a brand new game to test. If you can't figure out exactly what went wrong with the install, sometimes it might be faster and easier to just go through the guide again. :-/
  8. Nope, you need the Win32 file. MO is a 32-bit application.
  9. To add to what Joat_Mon was saying, if you check the ENBoost page now, you will find that the recommended values have changed. They changed a couple months ago for Win 8/10 users in particular. Should have ReservedMemorySize=128 and VideoMemorySize=4064. Increase the reserved memory if you stutter when turning around. Edit: Ninja'd!
  10. Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove all traces of the old driver. Run this in safe mode. Then install the driver and see if it persists. Could be an issue with remnants of old drivers. Other than that, did Win 10 recently install the Windows Anniversary Update? I have heard of many people having driver issues with this recent update. Could be that...might need a clean install of Windows if the update screwed up. Besides those two things, I'm not really sure. I know a bit about tech stuff, but I am no guru with this sort of thing.
  11. With FNIS, do you check the "Skeleton Arm Fix"? And how did you install FNIS? Did you install the Creature Addon as a separate mod, or did you add it to the main FNIS and choose merge? You need to do the latter for the tool to work right.
  12. It is included in Neo's CR patch.
  13. Maybe try another new game and see if you can reproduce it after the BethINI tweaks. I'm really not sure with no keyboard mouse input...I've never ran into that before. Any ideas, Joat_Mon? Or anyone else? Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention to change the particles setting in BethINI to 6000. You can do that manually after if you want as well. Forgot that was needed with Vivid Weathers / Vividian.
  14. Hmm, try running BethINI for your INI files. It will back them up in case you ever want to revert. Run this outside of MO. Click on the first tab and choose your MO profile. It will exit and restart. Back on the first tab, click fix Creation Kit. Second tab choose BethINI High preset (you can try Ultra later if you want, but I find BethINI High is the best mix of performance and quality - better than vanilla Ultra with better FPS). Make sure ENB mode is checked. Check the "Recommended Settings" checkbox. Then on the last page, make sure Grass Types are set to 7. Exit the program and save. See if that helps at all.
  15. Great, I'm glad you got it working! :-) *Hi-fives Joat_Mon*
  16. If you have Vividian installed and are trying to run it (which you really should as the parallax textures in SRLE I think will look weird without it): Change these settings: [GLOBAL] UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false UseDefferedRendering=true [MEMORY] ReservedMemorySizeMb=128 VideoMemorySizeMb=4064 [ANTIALIASING] EnableEdgeAA=true EnableSubPixelAA=true [FIX] FixParallaxTerrain=true If you are just now installing Vividian ENB, follow Neo's instructions for it and the merge. Make sure they are in the correct place in the left pane according to where the guide tells you to first install Vividian. Edit: Also if just now installing Vividian, add the Loot rule to the merge and make sure to run LOOT. Edit 2: Also your Skyrim and SkyrimPrefs INI settings need to change based on whether you are or are not using a graphical ENB... let us know what you decide and what your INI settings for those are. Found in your MO profile ([...]\Mod Organizer\profiles\[profile name])
  17. Post your enblocal.ini in spoilers, please. [spoiler]text[/spoiler]
  18. I'd have to look in xEdit myself. The author is assuming no one will conflict resolve, either. If you resolve the conflicts it should be OK. Personally, I'm just going to wait for Neo to add it and go from there, lol.
  19. That was the most of the low hanging fruit. One more easy thing to check: Do you have the SKSE Plugin Preloader installed in the Skyrim root folder (not through MO or in Skyrim/Data)? Crash Fixes ini tweaks applied? Edit: Aha, I just saw your edit. Try installing the DX9 Runtimes from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 Win 10 is missing some components on a fresh install. Run the first .exe which will extract the files to a folder of your choosing. Then in that folder, run DXSetup.exe.
  20. Are you sure you have Neo's conflict resolution patch installed? LOOT rules done correctly? Did you add any other mods to your load order besides SR:LE?
  21. Makes sense to me. Also (according to the description page), RDO should load after: Guard Dialogue OverhaulImmersive CitizensCACOImmersive Horses Things that should load after RDO: The Choice Is YoursEFFDialogue.esp It doesn't mention anything about Interesting NPCs. I just asked on the posts page, maybe CloudedTruth wll reply.
  22. Drag and drop the Memory blocks log to the Memory Blocks mod. Then with only the HDT Physics Extension log left in the SKSE/Plugins folder, drag the whole SKSE folder to the HDT Physics Extension mod. For the QSslSocket error, see if downloading and installing the Win32 OpenSSL v1.0.2h Light file from here will fix it. That is the light version of the whole OpenSSL library for Windows.
  23. @canadus: I split the conversation about Merge Plugins and reinstalling for Win10 to a new topic as it was clogging up this thread. You can find the thread in the SR - Support forum. Direct link to the thread here.
  24. Yeah, the RDO description page says: Also, a heads-up, Neo - the RDO description page updated late last night with a bunch of info on load order placement. Looks like some LOOT rules will be needed for the patches merge.
  25. Immersive Citizens is a fantastic mod. STEP does not require the full version, but it recommends it. There is a version of the STEP patch that can be installed if you only use the Lite version. The Lite version is compatible with everything. The full version is not compatible with everything because it touches so many things. However, it is compatible with most things, despite the rumours. Shurah has a great article on the Nexus page regarding compatibility. The version number is nothing to be concerned with. Some authors will only declare a mod v1.0 when it is completed (which for Shurah would mean having the full version of the new AI on every NPC in the game, and having gone through all the towns and cities for any bugs, etc.). Some authors simply never have a v1.0. The mod is very stable, and there shouldn't be any long-term problems. To be honest, I would put Shurah's work on the same level as Arthmoor's in terms of stability. The man knows his stuff, and incorporates every USLEEP fix into his mod (plus all of his own fixes).
