  1. Do you used Intel Rapid Storage Technology? I don't think the two are compatible.
  2. Perhaps your monitor setup is limiting you to 30fps.
  3. Who marked this accepted? Don't think it's ready yet.
  4. You grabbed the wrong file. You grabbed the Compilation rather than the Optimized Textures.
  5. Your link doesn't work.
  6. Not immediately. It really doesn't change anything there. I could add the Nvidia settings to the Prefs file but that's done automatically.
  7. Indeed. In my testing, setting it beyond 5000 is unnecessary.
  8. Not So Fast - Main Quest is included in STEP now.
  9. OK. It looks like what you want is to increase iBlurDeferredShadowMask. Set it to 6 and see if you like the result.
  10. I tend to agree that 95000 is a good value for fBlockMaximumDistance after some testing. DynDoLOD makes it dead easy to test these settings. What this does is make it so that the distant mountain most prone to the flickering will not get that extra layer of detail that makes the z-fighting readily apparent. While a little bit of Z-fighting still appears if you look for it, it is largely gone. Lowering it from 95000 doesn't really improve upon it, and increasing it allows more Z-fighting to come into view. Adjusting fSplitDistanceMult noticeably affects the Z-fighting, but there doesn't seem to be any sweet value for it, except that you shouldn't put it too high, or you will get some nasty stutter. Same can be said of all these settings. You can set all of them to 95000, but that seems to be prone to stutter. These settings seem to be working ok for me: I5-4690K @4.3GHZ AMD R9 380X 4GB 16GB RAM Samsung 850 EVO (500 GB)
  11. Could you post a screenshot of your blocky shadows?
  12. Well, disabling autosaves causes some graphical glitches in Skyrim, weirdly. IIRC, check the DynDoLOD thread for details.
  13. You should be able to simply use Topic Moderation --> Edit Title to change the prefix.
  14. Boy. I had too much fun raiding nearby bandit settlements when I started playing to bother with the main quest. I just went out and explored, found a bunch of madmen, and started chopping away at them. It took me forever to go up High Hrothgar. That old Frost Troll that so faithfully guarded that one passage made me not want to do that quest, because I always died. Then I discovered this one spot that the Frost troll wouldn't go, and just pelted him with a million arrows... Giants were the best. Fresh from Helgen, I wander up to a giant, and weeeeee!!! I had to do that 3 times before I decided I wasn't David.
  15. I have updated the OP to the latest official 1.3 patch.
  16. I personally hate radiant quests. They're more "busy work" than anything. And the beauty of the Companion quests and being a werewolf is more geared toward the lower leveled player. Being a werewolf isn't nearly as advantageous in the higher levels. And by the looks, you will need to be a higher level for you to get it. A typical player will get frustrated when they can't figure out how to trigger the quest. But then, I have yet to try this.
  17. Actually, after taking a look at the changes, I don't actually need an update. All you need to do is rerun fINIp 4, make any desired tweaks like normal, and you're set.
  18. I'd hide those files, as Papyrus Utility sometimes updates.
  19. Man, I've been wanting this forever! I was getting tired of half killing people to wake them out of bed.
  20. saveini should only be used for research purposes.
  21. Wonder when the Fallout 4 Bethesda.net INI setting will be ready.
