  1. If your instance of Mod Organizer 2 was really years old, this actually seems reasonable given that has had a significant number of bugs fixed and code changes in the past few years that an update may not have worked correctly.

I think Mator is still on his discord channel: https://discord.gg/y7qjR6nNtx
  3. You can leave it for now.
  4. I think I see the issue with the fomod. If you select Full Length Scabbard, it sets the source path to "99 None" and that folder does not exist. Mod Organizer prompts that folder "99 None" does not exist so click Install Anyway. The mod should be installed correctly since it doesn't seem to need anything extra for the full length scabbard.
  5. Everything in the Plugins tab should be checked.
  6. That's not obsessive... that's smart. I also keep all of the tool and mod archives safely stored in a repository just in case I need them again. It also makes setting up a new guide a lot faster since I don't need to download much from Nexus.
  7. If you entered 0009F83A into the FormID box at the top, it most likely is taking you to the record in Skyrim.esm. Instead, do this in TES5Edit: Expand WSCO - OcciFemaleVNL .esp (or whatever the WSCO ESP is named in your setup) Expand Non-Player Character (Actor) Scroll through the list and select 0009F83A dunBluePalaceMareMaiden Sultry Maiden Right click on 0009F83A and select Remove You might also verify the arguments to TES5Edit.exe in Mod Organizer are "-IKnowWhatImDoing -TES5 -AllowMasterFilesEdit" (without the quotes).
  8. My best guess if you are using the Steam version of the game is to verify you've disabled all of the Steam overlays and other cruft for Morrowind. I'm using the GOG version of Morrowind that comes with the complete and working version of TES Creation Set and it seems to work fie when run from Mod Organizer 2. I just ran TES Construction Set and had it load Morrowind and Bloodmoon.
  9. I think LeanWolf's Better-Shaped Weapons Installer v2.1.02 was current when the guide was release. According to the change log, it looks as if 2.1.03 is a minor update that corrected a couple of the Daedric sheath textures.
  10. If there's a difference between vanilla and Iconic's (no diffuse), it's very subtle.
  11. All mods and plugins should be enabled (ticked) unless explicitly instructed otherwise. I think the only mods that may not be ticked at this point are the two (TEMP) mods used for LOD/terrain generation. Unfortunately, the main file does not have the latest patches for some mods so download and install the miscellaneous files listed in the detailed instructions. Name each of these "Kyptopyr's Patch Hub" (the same name as the main file) and select Merge when prompted.
  12. I just finished walking around Dawnstar and I have to agree that 3D Snowberries HD Texture is the best choice. I do not know where TechAngel85 found the snowberry bush in that first set of screenshots, but the vanilla vs STEP screenshot shows a building in the background added by the STEP guide. That doesn't seem to be Helarchen Creek, though.
  13. I don't remember seeing snowberries in non-snowy locations (other than small samples on tables and in vendor inventories). You can find a couple of plants on either side of the door at Driftshade Refuge. This is on a worn dirt path, but the snowberry bushes are against the building.
  14. The link is in TechAngel85's reply just above the screenshots: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41915
  15. I prefer vanilla based on the screenshots.
  16. I think 3D Junipers - Trees and Berries is a good fit after looking at the junipers in game for a while.
  17. I thought the same thing so I installed 3D Snowberries and played for a bit this afternoon. So far I prefer this one over Vanilla or STEP. I'll install the 3D Snowberries HD Texture Option later and provide more complete thoughts on the comparisons.
  18. If you follow the steps in the guide, you are essentially doing what you are describing. Just follow the detailed instructions under "Root Files Installation" to update the files in the Skyrim Special Edition folder and the instructions under the "Scripts" section to update all the scripts in the SKSE64 mod folder.
  19. The only locations I remember seeing the bust is in Mercer Frey's house and on display in the Cistern (behind the Ragged Flagon), and both locations have poor lighting. It can also be displayed in the Legacy of the Dragonborn museum with much better lighting.
  20. Split and moved to Bugs & Guide Support. From Mod Organizer: Click the Install a mode from an archive button (the box and CD-ROM icon in the toolbar at the top left of the window) Browse to your Downloads folder (usually C:\Users\[username]\Downloads Select the file you downloaded Click Open
  21. Your assumption seems correct to me. The older guide has "Disable (TEMP) Majestic Mountains - LODgen" in the DynDOLOD wrap up section so it's most likely a typo in the current guide.
  22. I can say the map markers are generally in Worldspace/world/Cell/Persistent with a base name of MapMarker (or perhaps XMarkerHeading), but I can't say how to disable them.
  23. This has not been my experience. I also selected a dark theme for Windows 10, but very few applications use the Windows theme settings. Even Microsoft's own products have their own built-in themes instead of using the Windows built-in themes.
  24. Did you download and install Current SE build 2.0.19 (runtime 1.5.97) from http://skse.silverlock.org/? You might also verify that you installed SKSE correctly and that you don't have an extraneous SKSE files or folders in the game folder (e.g. C:\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim Special Edition). The only files installed in the game folder should be skse64*.dll, skse64_loader.exe, and skse64_steam_loader.dll. All of the scripts and the ini file should be installed as a mod in Mod Organizer.
  25. Also verify that you installed the correct version of SKSE in the game folder.
