  1. Heh, I may actually want to speak with Boris and help him with evil low-level engine hacking.
  2. Man... if Boris, Altimor, or someone else figures out how to stop or greatly reduce CTDs from running many mods at once, my life would be complete. I mean, they've arleady fixed the 3.1gb crash, the problems with uGrids, infinite loading screens... I seriously am thinking of reusing my old saves (which were full of crashes and infinte loading) just because of all the developments made to fix common issues with the game. Bethesda should hire these guys, seriously.
  3. Still, PCs can be upgraded one component at a time. Can you do that with a laptop? No. Unless you want to void the warrenty.
  4. Man, if he can make ILSes go bye, I may seriously consider bringing back my current game.
  5. Seems like a cheat mod to me - 8 master trainers (when they are normally scattered around Skyrim and occasionally faction locked), Ebony mines, and given its location, can be accessed really early in the game? Not for me, gonna wait until Arthmoor does his own villages. Sent from my LG-E970 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Nope. Not really my cup of tea. I have Dota 2 in my library for the eventual time that I actually bring it out, whenever that will be...
  7. I think Skyrim Redesigned's bloody rag is more realistic considering where you find it, but I guess Langely's is of better texture quality. HD Linens looks the best of the linens, and I think NRHD looks the best and most realistic for the display case.
  8. We've looked at this way before and we didn't like it. Sent from my LG-E970 using Tapatalk 2
  9. ..More or less weird than a guy who references obscure Japanese songs in Bash wizards?
  10. Duplicate. Please search before you suggest a mod. Closed.
  11. Or put the retexture right before HQ Food and Ingredients, if that's staying in Core. Agreed - don't like the salmon textures as much.
  12. I vote against Vanilla for Core, as I SERIOUSLY don't like the vanilla hair. Either SLF Rough or AOF would be appropriate for Core. Sent from my LG-E970 using Tapatalk 2
  13. This should be placed in L, since it doesn't directly affect gameplay, but it does affect sound.
  14. When I saw the first shot in the statue room, I seriously thought that it was live action footage for a few seconds. Man... I wish we lived in an alternate universe where Electronic Arts' retained the attitude, policies, and creativity that it used to have, but still with the Visual Effects of Awesome that were present in this trailer. (On that note, I wish that universe also had Bullfrog, Origin, and Maxis still existing separately from EA, and still being creative in their own rights)
  15. Not unless you have (or are planning to install) extra supported mods. The mod page has an article that details the currently supported mods.
  16. It should be disabled by default. The warning was there for those who enable "Prefer intergrated FOMOD installer" in MO 0.12.9 and below.
  17. Just in case anybody from this site is interested in D&D 4e, I am recruiting for a 4e campaign DM'd by yours truly. Here is a link to the recruitment thread.
  18. Marked as solved.
  19. You need to run FNIS with the Skeleton patch ticked if you are using XPMS - doing that will restore normal animations to your character.
  20. Er, Skyrim and all the mods for it are on a SSD. Still takes quite a while to load.
  21. ...ugh... Nothing at all seems to be working. Those solutions that appear to work only do so for a short time, then it's back to CTD and ILSes every few minutes or so. Especially in any of Solitude, Riften, and Windhelm. I think the stability issues that Neovalen and I have been experiencing may be due to Patch 1.9 mucking things up memory wise - Arthmoor has also been experiencing strange stability issues when testing Open Cities that he never had before, attributed to Patch 1.9 as well. In any case, I feel like going and running though Mass Effect right now, because that at least does not crash every 5 minutes when you try to play it.
  22. The creator of the torrent has intentionally excluded many duplicate files from SRO and also reduces texture size of many exterior files.
  23. I don't think I ever really wanted to go back to World of Warcraft (yes, I played for maybe a month or so) after I dipped my fingers (and a great deal of my cash) into it. (Why did I spend so much money on a game that I didn't play for a while? Who the Oblivion knows.)
  24. Wow. If you are condiering a Fomod installer, I will be willing to do the BAIN part of it for you.
