wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
WilliamImm replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I switched. Smart Souls covers the need (now that there's no risk of game updates screwing it up) -
I didn't have problems when I tested the mod out (however, it was a fairly short test), so I'll answer the poll anyway: 1) Using Nvidia (GTX 660) 2) 3GB VRAM 3) 8GB system RAM 4) Using ENBoost 5) Left Ugrids at default.

Was there ever an Oblivion Revisited?
WilliamImm replied to DanielCoffey's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
No, he never did do anything for Oblivion. If you want to see a good Oblivion mod list... well, I followed a lot of resources on the Beth Oblivion Mods forum (mostly with Dubiousness's helpful posts) - and I constructed a roadmap for Oblivion modding (at least for my needs). Here it is, if you want to look at it. Chock full of good quality mods - I'd consider it a Revisited-esque guide for Oblivion. Notably, I put in a lot of quest mods - because you want to distract yourself as much as possible from the main quest line (which isn't that great). -

I was referring to those ESPs. I belive Qotsafan has intergrated it into either his Misc. ESP or the Post ReProccer ESP. Basically, you only need the ESP Replacers Balbor's provides - at least until IA v7, where Qotsafan will need to create his own. -

You only need the Immersive Weapons and Immersive Armors ESP replacers from Balbor's. Qotsafan has integrated the fixes from the Dragonborn ESPs and the Crafting Fix in his ESPs. -
Certain followers not giving the steward dialog
WilliamImm replied to Crimson13's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Missing some key details. Please post your load order, what mod manager you are using, and which STEP build you are using (if at all), including non-STEP mods. -
Don't ask. Won't get you anywhere.

Female Khajiit Tail Fix by CrashMasterJmm and Derok
WilliamImm replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Butt plug tail. Butt. Plug. Tail. There's a perfectly normal English sentience. That aside, that is a perfectly reasonable mod - having the tail right in the way of the output port is just silly. Sent from my Optimus G using Tapatalk -
I'll need to make an image for the mod - this NEEDS to go on the hot files. In fact, it should be the Mod of the Month, maybe even Mod of the Year, for fixing a serious issue with the game. All we need now is a overhaul for the scripting engine so it doesn't choke as easily as it does. Sent from my Optimus G using Tapatalk

I have a bunch of old saves that gave me constant pain with ILSes. I could try and use said saves, but it will take me a while to get the setup back again.

wolverine - yea, I ran into the 640k memory limitation like it was a brick wall when I tried to get a DOS machine set up in VirtualBox... actually, I'm seriously now considering getting a DOS gaming PC just, well, because. (Split this thread, as it was getting quite OT)

Please link to the mod in the first post.

OT. Can anyone recommend a freeware backup software program.
WilliamImm replied to wolverine2710's question in Mod Organizer Support
I haven't actually backed up my MO files, but what I generally do is I use 7-Zip for smaller backups (ie: of a single section), and when I need to make larger backups (say, of a whole disk), I use DriveImage XML. I have toyed around with EaseUs Todo Backup, but I think the stuff it does can be done by 7-Zip and DriveImage. -
DROPPED Unofficial Skyrim Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
WilliamImm replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yes, it does. I just tested. Looks like it will work on any effect that soul traps, vanilla or DLC/mod added. My legion of undead foxes can attest to that. -
DROPPED Unofficial Skyrim Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
WilliamImm replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yep, so now I can safly mark my mod as obselete. Think we should switch back to Smart Souls come next release. -
DROPPED Enhanced Projectile Soul Trap (by William Imm)
WilliamImm replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I think this is because the Soul Trap effect itself is not fixed, or only because the Soul Trap magic effect is affected and not the spell. Also, the USKP's version will have the problem I had with earlier EPSG version - specifically, soul trapping inanimate objects gives you EXP, because a condition of "IsActor = 1" was not added. -
Companions (and Werewolves)
WilliamImm replied to WilliamImm's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
This mod could be a possible alternative to Wolf Master: Wolf Follower: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/39625 -
DROPPED Enhanced Projectile Soul Trap (by William Imm)
WilliamImm replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Or if we still want to use Acquisitive Soul Gems (which doesn't carry over the fix). I don't, I went to Smart Souls after the update. -
Mod organizer and the upcoming Unofficial Skyrim Changes
WilliamImm replied to GSDFan's question in Mod Organizer Support
At the cost of a small game load time increase (as a additional SKSE plugin has to be loaded), it's really nice. Relating to Arthmoor's distaste for Mod Organizer, I generally just ignore it. Not worth starting flames. If need be, I can tell him the in-deph techincal details about MO in private. -
Mod organizer and the upcoming Unofficial Skyrim Changes
WilliamImm replied to GSDFan's question in Mod Organizer Support
You would have to carry over USKP's changes for the Soul Trap spell to ASG. Or, you can use Enhanced Projectile Soul Trap at the cost of a additional ESP. (Not that I did so. I'm now using Smart Souls instead of ASG.) -
I think the author caught more instances of improper weather. Speaking of USKP and this mod, this now overwrites a script in the USKP (one relating to critters). I think that can be safely removed in favor of the rest of the mod, but just a warning.

CoT - Sounds with SoS? Yes? No?
WilliamImm replied to DoYouEvenModBro's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Never tried it, but it may work (though both mods kinda do the same thing). Use PatchCoTSounds. -
Plugin Count May Matter (More)
WilliamImm replied to Neovalen's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Well, I've arleady started merging mods - I merged Skyrim Distance Overhaul, the Realistic Water Two patches, the patches for Even Better Quest Objectives, and some various other small ESPs that would not really be updated. I highly recommend merge plugins TES5Edit script, it makes the whole thing go a lot easier. -
I'm pretty sure that Linux will rise for gamers (what, with Steambox and Steam's push for Linux), possibly even for everyone else. As for Windows 8 - eh. If you ignore the Metro interface (which I am doing for the desktop), it's pretty much the same thing, only without a start button (that can be added via a variety of custom programs - StartMenu8 being my current favorite). Then again, the touch UI is pretty fun to play with if you are using a laptop like the Yoga 13 (or the Surface Pro). Bottom line: If things come with Windows 8, that's fine, but you don't need to upgrade. If anything, expect to see a push for mainstream Linux.
