  1. Of the new shots michael took, I'm very partial to Hectrol (especially after playing with it in game - wow). Beauty of Skyrim is a close second - though, if Hectrol deviates too much from the vanilla art style, then I wouldn't mind if Beauty got included. Also, Snow and Rocks isn't completely replaced by Beauty of Skyrim, so some of the textures used will still be there. (I've reopened the poll and moved the shots in the order of voting, to prevent confusion)
  2. ...that's an really old version of Catalyst you've got there. Has to be, what, 3 or 4 years old by now? Are you sure you are using the latest version?
  3. Well, unfortunately, since the ReProccer has outright replaced the old patches, you'd have to buy at least the Dawnguard DLC in order to use it. Now would be a good time, since Steam itself is having a big summer sale. If you can, get the Dragonborn DLC also so that you can use the latest versions of SkyRe. My advice. And hey, you'll also get quite a bit of new content to the game along with both.
  4. Use the Brawl Bug Plugin version - it contains the fixes from Brawl Bugs Patch.
  5. Here's a warning, and here's one you should heed: Do not use version 2.0.1. Why? Because it WILL cause your game to crash when loading a save. Neovalen and I spent HOURS and HOURS trying to figure out what was going wrong, thinking it was the body mods malfunctioning. Turns out, it was this. Use 2.0.0, and stick with it. EDIT: Then, Expired released a 2.0.2 update that is supposed to fix said crashing, shortly after I made this post.
  6. Quadro... Isn't that NVIDIA's workplace GPU? Never really seen one used for gaming much. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  7. I'd merge all patches for Dual Sheath Redux. Too many patches to worth adding in another folder.
  8. 1) Make sure that you actually have BetterQuestObjectives.esp installed. Did you switch to MO 12.9? If you did, do not use the intergrated installer on Even Better Quest Objectives, as only the patch ESPs will be installed. 2) Make sure that the "No cloth around the neck" optional for Improved Closedface Helms is installed (it provides said ESP). 3) Disease Descriptions should not install the RN&D version of the mod, only the vanilla version. This can be 0.12.9 intergrated installer weirdness, do not use the intergrated installer on Disease Descriptions to be safe.
  9. If you actually go and do it, you'll find that it really isn't hard at all. You have to drag the Effect Shader entry from Animated Weapon Enchants.esp, not the header.
  10. ...except that it seems to work fine for me as far as I can tell.
  11. Actually, this changed with v99. The intergrated installer now installs this mod perfectly. MO v99 and up works perfectly with this mod.
  12. STEP does not officially endorse Project Stability, due to it advocating a placebo application. It is also recommended to use DDSopt instead of Optimizer Textures, as it is more comprehensive than OT. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  13. The latest beta version (0.99.1) works perfectly. BOSS works just fine for me.
  14. The latest beta version of Mod Organizer includes NCC.
  15. Correction: The NMM installer does work, but the option for Less Saturated in 2k is gaffed, because it installs the Less Shiny optional in 2k instead. Still, waiting on the author to respond and upload the fixed version.
  16. Alternate Beginnings being the alternate start mod Arthmoor made for Oblivion.
  17. If you add Wrye Bash as a executable in Mod Organizer, you can use its other features (namely, making bash patches, checking for missing masters, save game manipulation) just fine. Use Mod Organizer for installing and Wrye Bash for patching.
  18. I haven't seen this one at all. For me, when I disable the integrated installer, the external one works beautifully.
  19. ...you know that there is an easy to learn, very powerful, and very easy to use mod manager known as Mod Organizer? Why don't you use that instead? ...if you really want to stick with Bash (it's a good mod manager, don't get me wrong, but it's learning curve is as steep as Niagra Falls), here's BCF conversion 101: BCFs are meant as portable ways to convert non-Bash compatible archives into one that are compatible with Bash (BCF itself stands for BAIN Conversion File, BAIN itself being an acronym for Bash Installer). They are not needed for archives that are already compatible with Bash. Compatible archives are those with just an ESP file and maybe a few directories (Simple), or those with multiple options, each option having either a directory, a ESP/ESM, or both (Complex). Quite a few mods are compatible with Bash - the few that don't can be made compatible using BCFs. (For instance, all my mods are set up with complex Bash ordering in mind - including BAIN wizards) Oh, and yes, you read the part about unpacking right.
  20. ... this thread was from Febuary, rootsrat.
  21. ...wait, didn't I say to remove that mod from STEP way before you guys did? In the core proposal voting?
  22. Deadly Dragons, Realistic Needs and Diseases, and Alternate Start (Live Another Life) are in the guide already. So is Frostfall, The Dance of Death, Immersive HUD, Wearable Lanterns, and Sounds of Skyrim (linked in the hardcore mods list). Sands of Time (now retitled The Way of the Dovahkiin) changes the game too much for my liking. Like the idea, but it seems excessive. Also saw Snip usage in the past, but that appears to be completely fixed. I haven't tried any of the other mods. However, I'm not trying the other hardcore mods mentioned in the linked list (seems too old).
  23. I am well aware of Dwarf Fortress though TV Tropes. Somehow, I really don't see the point of making these threads.
  24. You can. Go to Settings, then Plugins, then Fomod Installer, then right click the "True" next to "Prefer" and set it to "False".
  25. ...said statement was a bloody joke. Admins can have fun sometimes...
