Let's get Saerilith to remake the regular gems. I know she's been on a roll with remaking the gems in both the dragon claws and the circlets, so why not just the regular gems? Gems used in necklaces and rings? Why not remake every gem used in Skyrim?

ACCEPTED Gemling Queen Jewelry (by Saerileth)
WilliamImm replied to CJ2311's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Oh, wow! Saerileth, you are an awesome little lady! I look forward to trying this out. ...those people who read the BG2 LP on the LP Archive or have firsthand expierence with the NPC mod of the same name would laugh their heads off at the previous line. I do geniunly like Saerileth's creations (all of them that I've looked at), but, at the same time, I can't believe I actually said that... -
pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
WilliamImm replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Uh, in 3.1, you've reverted to Sky Haven Temple Merchants & More instead of using another SHT modifier, yet I don't see the ESP replacer for M&M in the patch pack (you know, the one that removes the million septim merchant and some of the overpowered items). Shouldn't the pack patch be updated to add that ESP replacer right back? -

SKYRIMLE Real Effect Candle by Yuril

It was removed due to... well, guess it didn't look quite right? It was long enough ago that I forgot the reason. I think this didn't get a thread in the Mod Anthology because it was removed before s4n added all the missing Anthology threads in one burst. -

Uh, the reputation system was implemeted here to curb posting like these. I repped up the original post (because I did agree with you on that particular part), but use that instead of making +1 posts or the like. -

I've always used Lazarus Form Recovery since my days on RPG Crossing - it's really effective if you loose something on a forum and want to get it back without having to draw from memory. -

No, you would just add it like a normal executable in Mod Organizer. -

I just add Wrye Flash Debug.bat as a executable in Mod Organizer, don't bother with using python.exe or pythonw.exe. EDIT: The difference between python.exe and pythonw.exe is that python.exe opens up a seperate console window - pythonw.exe does not. -

Yup, can confim that. El Rey Motel Overhaul (suggest earlier) is also in the patch. -

I'm pretty sure that fix is included in the Unofficial Patch - at least, I remember it being listed in the Readme for YUP. -

Also, one note: Interior Lighting Overhaul - Ultimate Edition.esp can be moved into Optional ESPs if using a Bashed Patch. This is said in the actual description of the plugin. -

I've experienced that error with the external FOMOD installer (which I normally use for MO out of habit) - I had to use the internal installer in order to install that specific mod. -

Looks like MadCat221 uploaded a new version of Half-Hansified Holorifle that has no plugin dependence - just a straight plugin-less replacer. I guess it can be introduced right back into the guide - just use the "WMX DLC" file. Plus, in a game where you try conserve plugin usage, this is completely grand. About ENB choice - I used E ENB before when doing initial New Vegas playing, but it looks like it fell off the face of the Nexus (mod can't be found). And Enhanced Shaders looks like it isn't updated to the recent Nevada Skies version - using the old 6x series instead of 1.4.1. In that case, my immediate suggestion would be Diablotherium ENB, which does indeed use NSkies 1.4.1 - and it looks like Ess's testing it. And... that's what I can find that would work. Guess I'll be using that too. -

Couriers Stash Integration is really a more natural way to handle the various pre-order packs you get. Only thing is, the WMX plugin says to use it in place of the WMX pre-order pack plugins, yet I think WMX updated parts of the pre-order plugins. Huh. I'd stick with the pack selector for now, until an updated version can be made. Some of the mods on Root's list seem like instant intergrations for me - Manual Reload, Improved Automatic Ironsights Animations, CASM, Improved Weapon Jamming... in fact, all the mods he lists after that seem really, really good. EDIT: For adding Flash as a executable in Mod Organizer, I selected the "Wrye Flash Debug.bat" file. Works 100% fine for me. -
For extra fun, download the ME1UTM using it (yes, it has a mod page on the Nexus).

Weirdly enough, after playing with SPERG for two playthroughs and never feeling quite satisfied about it, I'm getting attracted more and more towards integrating Requiem into my playthrough this time. Would be really fun, would be really challenging... when I get back to Skyrim, I will consider this first thing.

...yes, I know they are on Steam itself, I was just lampshading that the Humble Sale about Sega for some reason didn't include them. EDIT: Ooooh. That's what you meant. I arleady own Episode 1 on the Wii, and considering that I forked over around $35 or so in money this month (Overlord DLC for ME2 + Humble Sega + L.A Noire), I'll pass.

For WMX - WMX-POPMerged.esp must be the merged ESP for the pre-order packs (or Courier's Stash) - POP must mean "Pre Order Pack". And as for Half-Hansified Holorifle, I PM'd the author of that to see if he's willing to do it (with an ETA if possible), otherwise, I should be able to knock out the merged WMX ESP for it. -

NSkies MCM doesn't seem like it would work with the new update, at least according to the user reports. I think Armor Replacer Child NPC Fix is still needed even with YUP - it doesn't directly conflict with that. Ah. Well, you should do it with a GOTY copy anyway. If it turns out you don't have all the DLCs for it, I'd just suggest getting it on Steam. -

GUIDE FNV Guide - Info and Feedback
WilliamImm replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
I think I'll probally end up following the newest version of the guide from scratch again. Two mods I did notice from past experience expiermenting with FNV: NSkies MCM - Althrough adbandonded, this does make Nevada Skies use the Mod Configuration Menu instead of the special configuration item that Nevada Skies normally uses. I'd like to see this mod updated for the most recent version of Nevada Skies. Armor Replacer Child NPC Fix - For some reason, some of the children use adult outfits. Looks fine without a body replacer, but with one... it just looks really, really weird. Doesn't seem to be fixed by YUP, so I'd say it's worthy of inclusion here. Also: this is much easier than modding Fallout 3, for sure. There's so much contradictory info relating to that now that it's getting to my head - not even a true fixpack was made for said mod. -
It's pretty harmless. I get this error when MO launches Cyberfox automatically for whatever reason (Cyberfox being a 64-bit port of Firefox). Still launches well.

I've just got L.A. Noire yesterday, interested in it. I'm not sure about getting the GTA bundle now, but I'd be damned if it wasn't such a good deal. EDIT: Speaking of big sales, the Humble Weekly sale is now about... well, SEGA. Looks like the stars of this are actually the Total War series (well, excluding Rome 2) and the 10 games from Sega's Genesis/Mega Drive library. Weirdly, this sale does not contain any instances of star mascot Sonic - not even in the Genesis games (OK, German players get Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed instead of Typing of the Dead). Still, nearly all the Total War games for $15 (or however much you want to pay for it), along with many other potentional interesting ones... yea.

I don't know how I feel right now - head spinning, extreme sadness... I'm not sure how to react.
