  1. Question: Why is this mod still being used? I could have sworn during the STEP Core Proposal voting that this was voted to be completely dropped due to Book of Silence mostly overwriting it.
  2. The optional were form being La Femme Lycana (as mentioned before by me). And yes, that one is really more "slight bump in the chest" than the mod the OP linked. I'd use Femme (via Moonlight or not), but not this one.
  3. The NN01 record in The Choice Is Yours is actually a dirty record - I didn't forward the quest description, since I always ended up removing it manually using TES5Edit.
  4. ...I guess it's funny, in a really absurd way. Personally, if I wanted a different female werewolf, I'd turn to MadCat221's La Femme Lycana - which also happens to be one of the werewolf body choices in Moonlight Tales.
  5. ...wow, something that actually provides a reasonable alternative for Virtri Imperi. Love to see CaBaL's treatment of the other Imperial armor...
  6. ..........There are so many fundamental problems with this mod, related to both in-game lora and, as tormanier said, practicality.
  7. Uh, lad, realize that this thread is over a year old, and you wasted your first post necroing this. Also... ugh, need to bleach my eyes after seeing the werewolf tits... NSFW, people, and really, really unsettling.
  8. Yes, there is. It's called the "water rule" - if the vanilla textures for something are irredeemably horrible, then anything that replaces it, as long as it fits in the game, is considered Core. Sent from my Optimus G using Tapatalk
  9. ...and, after deciding that I wouldn't buy this game after seeing the silliness that is the Imperial edition, I finally got an invite. Stress test, natch. I'll try it just to say that I have, but I'm not expecting it to be for me.
  10. yass100 is now erased from existence. He was barely under the threshold for the Goodbye Spammer function (10 posts). I was suspicious of him from the get-go with his random necroing, but that last post confirmed my suspicions right that instance. Anyway, yes, I love the idea of this mod - makes me think why I haven't looked at it sooner. I'll try it when I've got time to do so.
  11. Classic Shell allows you to add some extra functionality to Windows Explorer too. I ended up switching to it on my laptop after getting sick of the Metro interface (even on a 2013-era laptop). Still can switch to it if I need to use it in tablet mode, but I don't think there's a lot of instances where it would be needed.
  12. DYEMB, why not remove Safety Load from your mod list and just use the memory patch? It should not make a lick of a difference for you.
  13. Wait, what? That's... that's the race that I'd least expect to get the exclusive treatment. Considering how they were portrayed in the main game series (as being masters of none) - I'd... I'd have no words for that. And knowing how they are, I'd imagine they would be intentionally overpowered and laugh in the face of those who bought the Billy Basic edition. I mean, already, they get a mount from the start that's apparently faster than the in-game obtainable ones. One wonders if the will have a power that can kill a dragon just by pointing at them - would represent how cheated normal players of the game would feel very much. Also, why can you only be a cross-faction player if you preordered the game? It would be really hard on anyone trying to RP a character in a different faction - ugh... @Freyrgjurd's post about WoW - ...I'd kinda expected that they would implement a instant level boost considering the age (and as apparently the "fun" stuff happens at high levels), but... yes, if it costs money to do it (and a hefty amount too), I'd imagine that it would cause WoW to go down like a lead balloon at some point. The Pay to Win manfesto should die in the fires of Oblivion - if it's cosmetic, or if the item is balanced with regular in-game stuff (and can be gotten with enough patience in-game), I wouldn't mind it that much and consider it extra support for the company. But if it's essential to be competitive with other players... I have no words. EDIT: @FCqt: I don't think you'd know about how powerful the Imperial race will be in this game. My guess is that it would be full of unique bonuses and tower over everyone. Even the official preorder page says that they get unique bonuses and crafting, and they made clear that they have a mount that will be available from level 1 and be very fast to boot. I really didn't expect that race to get the "pay to play" treatment, but it did, and I'd imagine it would get the same treatment as most other "pay to play" races. And that $60 is better spent on other stuff - ACIV for instance, but I can tell you plently of other examples.
  14. And, for that matter, neither does SKSE.
  15. ...I hid it because of one user using it instead of the USKP. Not something I would like to encourage, esp. since one of my other mods requires it.
  16. I'm only using parts of RAEVWD - and also tweaking Streamline so that even with RAEVWD, it doesn't affect performance. Then again, I haven't really done anything with Oblivion, so who knows for sure. (also, what's going on with Kvatch Rebuilt? Never seen any progress on the update for it...)
  17. I thought I liked MM's Shrines HD before.. and then I saw this. Let's just say I was blown away by the strong attention of detail the author payed to this mod. Put this in STEP, it really does need it.
  18. Heh. Good that SKSE is making strides to incorporating this really, really good discovery. In fact, I am doing a active playthough using this memory patch (well, still using my compiled version). In fact, the only instances of CTDs were do to Windows itself - ocassionally during load screens, Windows will complain about low memory. If that is left on for too long, Windows automatically closes Skyrim. So, I just close that prompt, and keep playing Skyrim until my fingers fall off (or I have to go and eat - I have realistic needs too).
  19. If I had my way, I'd make installer scripts using Ruby or some other scripting language instead of extending C# or something. Crazy thing is, stuff like JRuby allows just that - a full Ruby scripting interface on top of Java. Feel like I could make some crazy stuff using that... XML is great for documents and organized info, not for installers. Sent from my Optimus G using Tapatalk
  20. I'm trying it out, but I haven't visited any of the places where they appear. Still, it's an egocarib mod, and I do like how well designed his mods are.
  21. Are you trying to confirm that it is a false positive? No, was really joking. Through I did effectivly do a Skyrim-switch summation of a really terrible Oblivion creepypasta - 0bl1v10n.exe, if you are that curious. Search for Slowbeef's dramatic reading of it if you want to hear the stupidity. Also: If I train a monkey to download a torrent and use Daemon Tools, does that make the monkey a hacker?
  22. I'm sorry, was this the mod that turned your character into a Thalmor justicar and have you chased by the niikhavoD? Or did I mix that up with S3YR1M.exe? Well, I did know that the mod caused the monitor to suddenly garrote my friend, and I had to slice up the motherboard in order to remove it fully. Man, what a weekend that was. Never get mods from Steam Workshop again. (end reference to really stupid creepypasta) Anyway, ENB is a post processing library that typically injects itself as a wrapper to the D3D API, and allows modders to customize what the image looks like. Many, many presets have been made to try out. It also provides a way to work around the 3.1 GB crash issue with ENBoost
  23. Actually, Sharlikan's patch for JaySuS includes the resources unpacked. So, keep using that, but delete the ESPs. Sent from my Optimus G using Tapatalk
  24. From my memory, the USKP only silences the gasping if you are an Argonian (due to different physiology allowing them to breath underwater). Their reasoning for not applying the fix to all waterbreathing effects is that even if you were magically able to breath water, you'd still gasp for air instinctively. Which makes sense, if you think about it. I don't think this mod is really that necessary and should be marked for removal.
