  2. From a maintenance perspective, would you rather work with one file or four files?
  3. Just some code optimizations really.
  4. I wanted to let you both know that I'll be looking into this; however, I have to rerun DynDOLOD before doing so.
  5. LOOT was updated to v0.8.0! I really like the dark theme! Much easier on the eyes and looks similar to MO's darker themes. Changing the theme:
  6. Bumping this one and will mark it for testing. This is very similar (almost a mirror) of Thieves Guild Requirements which is already in STEP. Unless issues arise, I see no contest to this being accepted (Requirements only version). Marked for Testing.
  7. I lose no performance in most areas. Some heavier areas will drop performance 2-3 FPS.
  8. Your card is comparable to mine (though I have 4GB VRAM) so you shouldn't have any issues unless you're trying to play 4K or something. Check drivers and DX9 install?
  9. Are you using default INIs? Are you running an ENB Preset or just ENBoost?
  10. No idea. Never tried anything like that before. If it's simply replacing the Skyrim vanilla files, there shouldn't be an issue.
  11. Discussion thread: Jaggarsfeld Extended by TechAngel85 Wiki Link An extension mod for the player home, Jaggarsfeld, which provides fixes and corrections to the original mod. Version 2.0 released (final version) I've updated the mod to v2.0. This will be the final version of the mod. I will do a few tweaks here and there, but this is the final major release. That means nothing else spectacular is coming to this mod. At the very least, Jaggarsfeld is fixed for the users who still love this player home. I will update eventually with patches of the lighting mods as optional downloads. So what will I be doing? I'll be continuing my work with STEP, but I have also taken a position on the Relighting Skyrim team to redo Relighting Skyrim from the ground up. These two projects will be taking up most of my time, but I still want to build my own house mod eventually so that might be in the works when I have time. 12. Either or, but you'll still need to clean your save because face tint data is baked into the saves.
  13. I would start there. Disable it and clean your save as instructed in the link above. See if that fixes it, is so. The skin retexture is your culprit.
  14. It's okay to leave it out.
  15. Does Renewal have the vampire files?
  16. Actually, the only DLC required for the Combined Plugins is Dragonborn or Dragonborn and Hearthfire (depending on the version you're wanting to use).
  17. CK is buggy as all get-out and seems to randomly crash from time to time. It also stops rendering objects if you're moving around a lot. I sure hope the next version is more stable.
  18. Some textures which have transparency in them which causes a known bug in Skyrim. Some mods will make this issue more apparent and this could be a case of that. If so, there's nothing that can be done about it as it's an engine limitation.
  19. Skin or body textures or meshes?
  20. Do you have any NPC mods that change the appearance of NPCs (other than what is in STEP)?
  21. I'm not gong to pretend that I know what Sheson is talking about but here was his reply: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5011-dynamic-distant-objects-lod-dyndolod-137/?p=134326
  22. The only things that need to wait to just before release are under the "Just Prior to Release" header. Dropping mods is way up under the Forum Workflow so I do not see any reason not to go ahead and drop them as part of the procedures for adding new mods (creating mod page, updating thread with boilerplate...which is why I always use it when making a new mod thread; to eliminate one step...updating changelog, updating the dev thread, moving the mod to Anthology...might as well add in dropping the mod being replaced in there as well since you're already there...geez that's a lot just for one mod when accepted!)
  23. I don't recall off hand. I can't really think of any reason that it would matter besides if a user is searching for the "accepted" tag. It's just less work to be done later.
  24. This is helpful! Thank you! Most likely RS and ELE - Interiors will be placed in an official STEP lighting pack sometime in the future and this would be a nice candidate for such a pack.
