As long as the "adult content" isn't hosted on STEP, by STEP. Then there's really no issue. Simply put up a (NSFW) notice and you'll be fine. STEP currently has one mod that defines the Guide as "adult"; Better Males. This link is defined as NSFW and we provide direct access to the files so users don't have to visit the Nexus page since it has nude male bodies on it. You might consider doing the same.

Would getting a digital signature from a CA, not help to fix this?

Mod Organizer 2 Error with Realistic Water Two

Ensure watercolor is after the main plug-in. Sometimes closing and reopening MO2 helps. -
Howto: Identify Missing Textures!
TechAngel85 replied to Aiyen's question in General Skyrim LE Support
There are two methods you can use to find a missing texture on a mesh... Method 1 - Nifskope The object the textures are missing on will tell where to look. For this, you have to be familiar with the game's data structure to find the object's NIF file (mesh). Extract this file from the winning mod in your mod list or from the game's data folder using a BSA extractor on the archive (vanilla meshes are in: Skyrim - Mesh*.bsa). Then open the file in Nifskope Click on the area missing the texture in the right pane Open the file tree (highlighted on the left) until you see the textureset, and click on it.You'll see the texture paths in the info pane. Use this information to track down your issue. Method 2 - xEdit You can also do this using xEdit, which will likely be more simple for most users. In the game go to the object missing the texture. Ensure nothing is in front of the object, open the console, and click on the object. Write down the number that appears. Next load your entire plugin list in xEdit. Once loaded, at the top type in the Form ID from above in the search field, and hit Enter/Return.This will load the record in xEdit. From here you can find where the textures are located and if anything is conflicting with that record in your load order. -

STEP uses an outdated verion of MO
TechAngel85 replied to FriarBuck's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
That's interesting because I think it was mator himself that told me it didn't work. Perhaps the MO team fixed whatever issue it was having. -
STEP uses an outdated verion of MO
TechAngel85 replied to FriarBuck's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
STEP doesn't use Merged Plugins or Mator Smash. However, I know Merged Plugins will only work with MO2 in portable mode. -
Yep, looks good now.

I don't know if you're aware, but Nexus locked your mod page.

Helping with Scripting for Beginners
TechAngel85 replied to mentaltyranny's question in General Skyrim SE Support
Oh yeah! I forgot about the source scripts. If you're going to be scripting you are going to want to extract those scripts, as Mator mentioned, and add the path to the editor.ini. It's perfectly okay to just leave them in the data folder so all programs can see them. But it sounds like you're just wanting to edit a few scripts in the mods. First, you're going to need permission from the authors if you're planning to provide these edited scripts to users. Second, you'll need the script's source files. These can be obtained from the nexus pages, the mods themselves, or by asking the authors. If you can't get the source, you'll need a decompiler. There is a good one on Nexus called, Champollion Decompiler. Last, you'll need an editor and some patients...depending on how quickly you pick up on Papyrus. I do recommend an editor with syntax highlighting, though. The visual makes a difference. The setup for Notepad++ is here: https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/index.php?title=Notepad%2B%2B_Setup -
Helping with Scripting for Beginners
TechAngel85 replied to mentaltyranny's question in General Skyrim SE Support
The only "value" I can think of is not having to open up the CK. In the end, they're all going to be similar. A few of the editors do have syntax highlighting. Personally, I just use Notepad++, but I'm simple like that. -

The community is your best resource for questions you can't answer. The CK website has lots of reference info. You can set up notepad++ to handle all your papyrus scripting. Papyrus isn't too difficult to catch into. -

ACCEPTED RUSTIC FROSTBITE SPIDER (by Gamwich)
TechAngel85 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
No worries. I check for new mods on Nexus every couple days. -
Discussion topic: RUSTIC FROSTBITE SPIDER by Gamwich Wiki Link Another one from Gamwich in the "Rustic" series. This mod re-textures the frostbite spiders with high resolution textures with a lot of added detail. @TechAngel85 The frostbite spiders have never looked better, while also being even more disturbing to run across on your adventures. ...an easy add for STEP.

Correct. Just one of the other. Thanks, it's getting there...

It really didn't matter which you use (driver or enb). The only difference is the enb AF skips some textures Boris claims shouldn't have AF processed on them, whereas driver AF will process all textures. I used to be able to tell a very, slightly better quality when using drivers. The difference is so small that most users would never perceive it unless they're using super high resolution textures.

Keep in mind the screenshots on the Nexus page are with an ENB installed.

Discussion thread: RUSTIC NOBLE FURNITURE by Gamwich Another mod apart of Gamwich's "rustic" collection of mods, RUSTIC NOBLE FURNITURE adds a more "natural wood" feel to the noble furniture. It's provided in 4K and 2K textures. SMIM compatible (because SMIM changes the chair mesh). @TechAngel85 I've always felt the noble furniture was a bit off in the game. I like the look of these textures and the shading appears more like the natural woods in the game. Vanilla has always looked like the noble furniture had been stained and most other texture mods tend to just enhance that effect. I like that Gamwich went the other direction by providing a more natural wood "look and feel", while applying his own "rustic" twist to style and artwork; keeping the nobility in the design. As you can see in my compare below, the wood tones look a lot more natural and blends well with the other natural wood objects. SRO is what STEP is using now so the shot below shows the change in the game. If you look at Gamwich's shots on his Nexus page, you'll also see just how well ENBs play off of these textures. This one needs testing and a vote to be included in the Guide, so I'm putting it up for testing now.

The INIs, when using MO, are profile specific...meaning changing them in the default location you listed isn't going to work. You need to change the INIs within the profile you're using. This is most likely your problem for all your INI issues. BethINI works fine when used correctly. Ensure BethINI is pointed to the correct paths on the system tab for the game/profile you're using it for. There is a mod for ultra wide/multi-monitor support. You'll have to search for it on Nexus. If you can't get AA that you like, you might try SMAA. ENBSeries also has its own AA within the enblocal.ini file.

Unsure how to fix the bashed patch on TechAngel85's SSE guide
TechAngel85 replied to thewhitepidgeon's question in xEdit Support
If you can't simply drag and drop those too, you can right-click on the fields and choose add, I think that's the verbiage.
