EssArrBee Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Where do I get the improved_closefacedhelmets_legendary.esp? I don't see an esp named that in the IMproved closefaced helmets file? You need to start reading things much thoroughly. Those plugins are from waf. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I browse these threads on my phone, it's almost impossible to catch everything. I didn't realize that the WAF author came out with new patchesÂ

I have all the mods ordered and organized in separate folders in storage so I don't need to redownload.Â
EssArrBee Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I'm not sure if they go right back to being in order if you move the files from one place to another. You can highlight every mod and uninstall all at once though. That is one of best things about WB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Or should I uninstall/reinstall skyrim first?
EssArrBee Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I would make pristine skyrim install if you are doing the switch, go all the way with it. You don't want some little thing come back to bite you later on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DoYouEvenModBro Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) Is it no longer required to download the "Compatibility Patch - AmidianBorn Skyforge Weapons" and the "Compatibility Patch - Guard Dialogue Overhaul" optional files? They are no longer mentioned in the guide notes.. Edited March 4, 2014 by DoYouEvenModBro
torminater Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 If you click on STEP Patches it'll show you which patches are made redundant, IF USING the "STEP ____ Patch.esp". The STEP guide is for those who follow it to the letter, including every mod from either CORE or Core and Extended. If you want to customize, you'll need to do some work yourself, that we've already done for people who just want to stick to the guide.

I completely forgot about the STEP Patch.
Octopuss Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I don't understand the Improved Closefaced Helmets patch.I have installed the full version of ICH along with Dawnguard and Dragonborn, which means I have imp_helm.esp, imp_helm_dawn.esp, and imp_help_dbrn.esp.I read I am supposed to put the WAF patch after these in the installation order to overwrite them, BUT that's the problem: there's nothing to overwrite.First of all, the legendary version of the patch is obviously differently named file, so it cannot overwrite what I already have installed. What am I supposed to do at this point? Then, the full set of ICH already contains those two optional plugins provided in the patch, so again, there's nothing to overwrite.Could someone explain the whole thing to an idiot please?
TechAngel85 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Give me til the end of day and I'll have my Extended profile set up and will post a picture of the plugin order that you can duplicate. Right now I'm creating something that everyone has requested.
Octopuss Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Oh ok.I am curious how is it supposed to work with the way these particular plugins are.
