  1. Evidently you do not have your plugins correctly tagged in Wrye Bash, as it works fine for me. Please make certain that you use the tag settings provided by Boss/Loot. The bashed patch for STEP 2.2.8 core should be 8 kb. For Extended it should be 9 kb. If it is drastically larger, your have done something incorrectly and yes, you would be better off not using it.
  2. The problem only seems to exist in the Sort-Friendly and Weightless version (Soul Gems Differ - NW.esp). It is fixed by opening it up in TES5Edit and changing the HEDR value from 0.85 to 1.7 in the File Header.
  3. Perhaps some script failed to complete. Might try the Skyrim game script cleaner. Also, make sure you have the following in your skse.ini [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1
  4. Since when does Rome, England, Scandinavia, Scotland, or Utopia have any effect on Tamriel? It's a whole other world. The dwemer have robots for Kyne's sake!
  5. This guide has been checked for bad URLs and all are correct.
  6. With the change to the new forums back in February, all links to the forum pages in the STEP wiki became wrong. It is now June and we still have a bunch of bad links leading to 404 errors here. Most of the important ones have been taken care of, but more have been trickling in and being fixed. I am creating this thread to make a call to all STEP users as they browse the wiki to fix these errors. At least if you cannot fix them yourself, please post them here so they can be fixed. If we all work together, we can rid our wiki of these old URLs.
  7. Adding new mods to testing is closed for 2.2.9 (unless we find something extremely important)
  8. Nope. That was used to wrap the bodies in.
  9. Soul Gems Differ is making my Wrye Bash throw a fit. It says it's an unrecognized version. I fixed this for another mod once before, but I forget how, but this needs to be addressed. I'm using the weightless and sorted esp btw.
  10. LOL. I've not seen the older Die Hards, so I might have to look that up!
  11. Too true. I've never seen sandpaper in Skyrim. Sounds like we need a sand paper mod.
  12. Discussion thread: Smithing Perks Overhaul - Remade and Updated by kryptopyr Wiki Link This mod is fantastic IMO. Also, I think it might be necessary for bug-free use of Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade according to the following statement on the CCOR page:
  13. Plugin order is different from mod order. In all the cases you mention, it appears to be plugin order that needs to be such and such.
  14. As far as I understood, it was considered unfixable.
  15. Me too. Created it now here: ------(Will update the OP when I get a chance, as I got to go for the moment). Tech you Ninja!!!
  16. I still do like them. I just think that the official STEP Extended pack should not deviate this far. As to Radiant bottles, I really haven't been in favor of that mod either, so that argument doesn't persuade me.
  17. LOL. We tested Real Wood Textures without marking it for testing, or even creating a thread about it on STEP! We've evidently only mentioned it in passing when talking about other farmhouse texture mods.
  18. You must have used the installer version. Grab the 7z. It has the BSA Extractor plugin in it (not sure why it's not in the installer). Go to plugins tab in Settings and set it to true to enable the dialog. Click refresh to immediately show conflicts (don't know why the auto-refresh seems slow, but this has been what I've been doing for some time now).
  19. I assume we are testing the Clear refracting icicle with no ENB Temporal AA main file with the Ultimate HD Torch mod HiRes patch
  20. I'll have to load this up in-game to make a decision.
  21. Hmm, I'm thinking it was a recent tweak I made that made it seem like ENB shadows didn't have much fps impact, as I seem to be 5 fps faster or so now back with regular shadows. I'll have to run a benchmark. ENB shadows do look good, but they really don't look that much better than my tweaked ones. Can you find me shadow settings that do show the fov-lod bug? It simply doesn't occur for me. Tried lowering fshadowdistance to 3000 and switching from 75 to 80 and nothing changed at all. I think that's why I have fshadowbiasscale up so high at 1
  22. Maybe there's a door texture hidden in Langley's somewhere. Or you could try this one https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54023/? (Just kidding on that last one.)
  23. Just tested enb shadows and I'm impressed. I don't think I had any fps loss at all. Hopefully I actually had them enabled. ::
