  1. Pretty sure that changed with 1.9.32.0.8 version of Skyrim.
  2. And why are you changing iPreloadSizeLimit and uExterior Cell Buffer? All you need to do is change uGridsToLoad.
  3. After looking at the pictures, I would have to agree with Tannin. I can't even figure out what yours is trying to tell me.
  4. Ouch. I did it in like 40 minutes on 3.0.31.
  5. The fomod version is outdated (see the comments tab on the Nexus). You can use the BAIN format and install the recommended options. The STEP fomod without options use of a thumbs.db in the archive is a common mistake in archive creation and can be ignored. We welcome improvement on the fomod as discussed in the mod comments thread. I personally would recommend installing through BAIN. I actually put Skyrim Redesigned in BAIN format before the fomod came around.
  6. The instructions were for 2.0. I'll try to update them. The fomod makes installation easier.
  7. But... You got to do some fixing of the LOOT load order if you want everything to work correctly. You need to run BOSS from inside Mod Organizer https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#Third_Party_Programs
  8. /fixed (forum parses out spaces in links)
  9. Discussion topic: Wiki User Guide by Step Modifications This thread is for discussion and improvement of the Wiki User Guide on the wiki.
  10. Removed the [*]Conversion of the DLC BSAs to loose files (improving access times) from STEP solutions for the HRDLC problems. As far as I know, extracting the DLC BSAs are not going to help solve HRDLC problems... Also, this guide seems to have strayed from its purpose. Should it not be a guide ONLY about installing Skyrim? Yet includes a bunch of other section that seem rather unrelated and focused more on modding and optimizing the game. Perhaps we should split out these portions into other smaller guides. And for Skyrim Editors, some of these tools I don't think we should be mentioning...
  11. Any archive that was installed with the NCC installer could be affected. For STEP, I can only think of SkyUI and AQWM that use them, but I'm not sure.
  12. Enhancement requests can be made at the bug tracker https://issue.tannin.eu/tbg/modorganizer/issues/open
  13. It sounds like you have the beta 1.2 version installed. If so, upgrade to the 1.2.1 beta which fixes the problem. 1.2 beta had a problem in the fomod installer for some C# fomod archives, which A Quality World Map is one of them.
  14. Looks like a definite improvement. BTW, I've been playing with the windmills with sails in game, and I like it.
  15. I'll keep it simple. Don't extract BSAs unless you need to manipulate files within the BSA. You cannot hide files that are within BSAs, so in that case you would have to extract it.
  16. The only thing I've noticed about this mod, is the smoke seems a little too smokey. It's a little too thick. Because water often uses the same smoke effect for mist, it doesn't look quite as good as vanilla. My 2 cents.
  17. I think you are reading the Conflicts tab wrong. This mod still provides worldmapoverlaysnow_n.dds
  18. You must have installed the mod wrong. I'm going to guess that you ignored the warning when you installed it that said "NO Game data on top level." If that was the case, it would have showed up greyed out with the red X icon. Subsequently, you probably then when into Optional ESPs and saw that the esp was there, because MO automatically looks for esps within the mod in deeper folders and places any it finds in Optional ESPs. Moving it down solved the warning and you're telling this here. If I'm right, you also now have in the mod the BSA within the deeper data folder, so whenever you come across some of those older people, some of their resources are going to be missing. In short, to install this mod, all you need to do is follow the manual install instructions by right-clicking the data folder in the installation dialog and clicking "Set Data Directory."
  19. It assumes that you have all three DLCs, yes.
  20. You install this Cell Stabilizer into Mod Organizer, not the real data directory. Install it like any other mod. It's not greyed out for me.
  21. Main reason for plugin priority order to match mod priority order: Mod A plugin describes one of its scripts. Mod B plugin describes the same script. We want Mod A to be used, so we place it in a higher priority plugin order to that of Mod B. However, we have Mod B providing the script. This can cause serious problems. Therefore, we have a warning set up to inform user of the possibility of this situation. The most common example where this has been a problem has been between the Unofficial Skyrim Patch and the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch. If the user had Unofficial Dragonborn Patch before Unofficial Skyrim Patch in the mod priority order, contrary to its plugin priority order as instructed, dragon souls couldn't be absorbed.
  22. First, always make certain that the Nexus is working properly before testing. If the Nexus is down, MO won't be able to bypass that. Second, we have a guide here that helps troubleshooting common download issues: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#Troubleshooting_2 Third, if you are using the beta, observe the log and see if it cannot give you a hint as to the problem. Everything is working on my end.
  23. You don't need to alter ugridstoload to use the mod, and we currently do not recommend changing it. If you use the Configurator in Mod Organizer, you can find the value under General I believe.
  24. I recommend to keep using the BSAs as much as possible, only extracting in cases where you need to hide files within the BSA.
  25. I can think of two off the top of my head. If you load Guard Dialogue Overhaul before Weapons and Armor Fixes, there is no need for the GDO WAF patch. If you load RealisticWaterTwo before Audio Overhaul for Skyrim, you don't need the AOS RWT patch.
