  1. I happened to take a picture of the SMIM smelter in-game. The most notable thing about it that is better is the stone base, whereas the skysight ultra hd smelter texture looks more like cement. As for barrels, the modified vanilla barrels in SMIM are about as good as it gets.
  2. Yes, clean it. Updated wiki page.
  3. The contrast is the killer. BTW, I don't think the STEP spider is SRO. Or is it? I didn't think it altered the dwemer stuff.
  4. Tested Total Character Makeover. Not a fan.
  5. I doubt that you correctly disabled Bit Defender.
  6. I'm not getting good results from Z's recommendations: horrible neckseams. I think I must have installed it wrong. Here's what I did, as per what I thought the instructions meant: High Resolution Scars 1.10 Main XCES Lite + 1.10 update Femfeet (meshes only) Mature skin: Body and Face Texture UNP + Body and Face Normal Maps UNP Diverse Muscle Tones 5.1g High Vanilla, using toned4_1_msn.dds from 10 UNP-Vanilla folder renamed as femalebody_1_msn.dds
  7. Funny. It only seems to occur with the No Greatsword sheathes option. I assumed the DSR version would be broken too, but that seems fine on a second look. Testing the Glassgreatsword.nif between No Greatsword Sheathes and with them. The No Greatsword Sheathes option doesn't install for the glass greatsword at least. I really don't know fomods, only know when they aren't working as intended.
  8. Testing is closed for 2.2.9, and I'd like to keep it that way. I don't want to prolong the 2.2.9 release, and it is seeming to grow longer and longer.
  9. See the note on the updated Better Shaped Weapons wiki page: https://wiki.step-project.com/Better_Shaped_Weapons
  10. I'm liking the look of that, and it looks quite simple to install.
  11. SMIM totally changed the mapping and even how the textures work. SMIM is better, of course.
  12. Okay, tested this. You must use the NCC installer for this mod, as it uses advanced fomod install code which is not recognized by the integrated one. Dual Sheath Redux version fails for the same reason.
  13. Updated the instructions for this. I find nothing wrong with the installer, but then I don't use the no sheathes option. It would be nearly impossible to troubleshoot without knowing exactly which options you chose.
  14. My brother was having the same issue, and I really couldn't understand it, but for him, fixing the priority order fixed it. Move them into this order at the top of your modlist and you should be fine when you refresh: Dawnguard HearthFires Dragonborn HighResTexturePack01 HighResTexturePack02 HighResTexturePack03 Of course, interweave the Unofficial Patches to get the desired effect with them. As to the patches you mention, perhaps you cleaned the DLC, and MO recognizes them as patches? Don't know.
  15. nxmhandler.exe runs fine for me. I think that you need a better setup than turning DEP, UAC, and antivirus off. I work with these things on and have little trouble. Just know where you need to give something better permissions.
  16. We had said that testing was closed for 2.2.9, which would probably explain its absence from testing Looking at the compares, I'm not sure they're worth the 24 mb. Also, I wish they weren't so much lighter in color, and the purple gem instead of red stands out a bit.
  17. The thing is, I don't know much about archive invalidation, and really can't troubleshoot it since I don't have FONV. The other guys who knew about that seem rather sporadic in posting.
  18. No idea. Please post to the bug tracker: https://issue.tannin.eu/tbg/modorganizer/issues/open
  19. Installation of 1.72 required some manual manipulation by me. The half size smelter textures aren't an option in the fomod, but they are in the Half Size Textures compilation. Extracted those and used them, and they really look okay to me. Had to extract the merged plugin as well.
  20. I have been a fan of this mod. It was the only one that got rid of some of those absolutely horrid dwemer textures.
  21. I am sadly lost in this thread. Could someone update the OP with all the mods we're testing? From Z's compares, I like WoS the best, but I would need to see something like this in-game to be satisfied.
  22. One thing to note: After you merge mods, if you check for errors, often there are none. But if you load up the merge esp again, many times if you check for errors then, there will be. If there are, it's bad. I've never had much luck merging a whole bunch of mods, always something goes amuck.
  23. We are testing the no moss version. Also we're not using the rock texture, which is seen in your compares. Believe me, those two changes are dramatic.
  24. Optimally, I wish there was a button to turn the replace existing file feature on and off.
  25. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#tab=Overwrite It takes longer than 5 seconds to create Reproccer.esp. Are you using the Sync to Mods feature?
