  1. I think it might also help LOOT to list implicit masters.
  2. Missing masters result in crashes. Should have a exclamation box right next to the plugin file and a warning in BOSS. BOYD patch is for users of Bring Out Your Dead and Diverse Priests. Neither patches are needed with the STEP Patches.
  3. More info expanded upon Vaportrails explanations, which are quite good. 1) Only if in the Archives tab under that data grouping, the BSA order looks like this (if not, drag and drop into this order): Skyrim - Animations.bsaSkyrim - Interface.bsaSkyrim - Meshes.bsaSkyrim - Misc.bsaSkyrim - Shaders.bsaSkyrim - Sounds.bsaSkyrim - Textures.bsaSkyrim - Voices.bsaSkyrim - VoicesExtra.bsaDawnguard.bsaHearthfires.bsaDragonborn.bsaHighResTexturePack01.bsaHighResTexturePack02.bsaHighResTexturePack03.bsa 4) Just install your ENB. 5) There is a workaround where Steam places your mods into overwrite, but I don't remember if it was launching Skyrim Launcher or Steam through it. I don't use any workshop mods.
  4. @Vaportrails There is no way to translate rules between BOSS and LOOT
  5. One bug I'm finding: If the first mod in priority 0 is contains only a BSA and no corresponding plugin, that BSA is being loaded first and overwritten by everything. For instance, I have my Skyrim optimized textures in a BSA mod without a plugin at priority 0. Beginning of Archives.txt looks like this: STD.bsa is my optimized textures. Of course, with this order, they will be completely overridden. If I move it to priority 1, it is fine. If I move Unofficial Skyrim Patch to priority 0, it is fine.
  6. Okay, 2 against, Z never made his final judgment.
  7. Tested these in-game. I'm advocating this for Extended.
  8. 2 for, 1 against.
  9. We have accepted Stalhrim of Skyrim by SparrowPrince. Dropping this from testing. Unmarked for Testing.
  10. After testing in-game, I'm voting no. I prefer the formation of current STEP.
  11. Okay, I tested these in-game now. I'm preferring the AMB rope texture now. Up real close it doesn't do well, but none really do well up close. The AMB rope texture from reasonable distance is much better. I agree that the thatch roofs should be hid. The stone floor inside from AMB must be used. Tried mixing it with SRO and it doesn't work, and I'm thinking I might be starting to like the AMB one better anyway. The wooden walkway outside and the door, I cannot agree to accept this mod if we have those in. It is that much of a dealbreaker to me. It'll squeak by at night or in rain. But in the daytime, I cannot go along with them at all. Loaded up Dragonsbridge in the morning hours with the sun shining down. The walkway looks like someone sanded it. The door looks out of place. I will have to vote NO unless we can remove these two textures. Loaded up the corresponding textures from both Insanity and Real Wood Textures and liked them better, and I don't even like Insanity's texture for either of those! If Real Wood Textures didn't have a greenish stain at the bottom of the door, which doesn't work inside, I would advocate using it for only those two textures.
  12. Well, I'm on Win 8.1 with latest Chrome and mine still seems to work. I bet you they just discovered the same fix that we mention here.
  13. Looked at these in game. I vote no as well. Too much noise for me.
  14. They better not be, because I got options.
  15. Am I down for AMB or SRO? I've had AMB in with the hidden textures in my game for a bit yet, but I've been too busy clearing forts and dungeons and visiting Whiterun to even look upon a farmhouse. Hopefully tonight.
  16. This may be an issue again. Note the News article on NMM on the Nexus that includes info about this. I'll look into it.
  17. Automatic Variants and Mod Organizer are a tough beast. We probably ought to write a guide between the two. Reinstall the texture packages you used in AV and rerun it and it should be fixed.
  18. Indeed. Sometimes I wonder why we bother to clean Update.esm at all. It's not like any mod will need to come between Skyrim.esm and Update.esm. Just remembered why we do: deleted navmeshes.
  19. Everything looks in order to me.
  20. Also make sure you haven't accidentally turned on the frame limiter to 10 fps. I set the setting to 60 simply because sometimes I accidentally hit the frame limiter key.
  21. The reason for the extra 6 ITMs in Dawnguard.esm: https://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1476559-cleaning-mods-issue/
  22. Seriously, I recommend installing 2.2.8 for now. We still have a bunch we want to accomplish, and working through it twice will be a great learning experience.
  23. Okay, I loaded this up, and I love it! I vote this for Core, as it fixes that ugly, horrible, nasty, utterly game-breaking seam when going to the Dragonsreach prison of the road to the grass. It doesn't really deviate from vanilla as much as Tech is making out IMO. Our current Whiterun Trellis retexture should override IMO as, even though the AMB is good, I still don't like it with its checkers, as it is the same pattern used around the Jarl's chair in Dragonsreach, and it doesn't make sense. As to the wall thing, I greatly prefer AMB with the moss on top. Most of the time you are walking beside the wall and it seems realistic that way. I can't see how the SRO stones curving is better. Indeed, I think it worse. I do agree with hiding wrslate02.dds (stairs)wrslate02_n.ddswrslatefloor01.dds (stone floor inside Dragonsreach)wrslatefloor01_n.dds
