  1. For which reason we are dropping it from 2.2.9 as it is entirely redundant.
  2. I have yet to see the nag screen. Maybe that's because I've endorsed over 500 mods.
  3. Configurator is working fine for me. Has the value in Grass under Advanced. Default value is 2 I believe. Normally the value is not inside the INI file at all, so just delete the line if you don't want it. I personally have it as a plugin loaded INI tweak along with SFO.
  4. I already did in post #16. Thanks. It was indeed this thread. Fixed.
  5. Actually the main reason why we have you launch the Launcher first is to make absolutely sure the INI files exist before launching Mod Organizer, as STEP is created so it can be used upon first install, and if those INI files don't exist, Mod Organizer will throw a fit. As to the combat tweaks, I believe it doesn't shift the reticule. Instead it shifts where the arrow goes to match the reticule. It really doesn't work for me. I actually have mine set to .64 instead of .70.
  6. If you do it your way, you will have to make the INI changes made in the Launcher across all profiles, requiring a rerun of Skyrim Launcher throughout all new profiles created.
  7. I don't think there is a way currently. Could put it as an enhancement request on the bug tracker for those who have the offline mode option ticked.
  8. I very much doubt that you have replaced all of those textures.
  9. Can't really see anything wrong, and I'm no wizard (except in Skyrim).
  10. Post your enblocal.ini in spoilers.
  11. Add -noboss to the end of the Arguments field in Configure Executables for DSR, and you can run it without BOSS and without SUM.
  12. To quote the changelog:
  13. You're supposed to click the Download with Manager button on a mod and then install it.
  14. Priorities of mods in the Left Pane differ from the load order of plugins in the Right Pane in that the mod priority order affects assets used in the game like textures and scripts whereas plugin order affects data records like what damage rating the steel sword receives. Plugin order generally can resemble mod priority order and should be used almost as a mirror for proper asset conflict resolution. This is why the Potential Mod Order Problem warning exists. It warns where mods containing scripts are prioritized in a manner that contradicts the plugin order, which can result in difficult to solve problems. An example would be the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch with the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. If the mod priority order has Unofficial Skyrim Patch in a higher priority than Unofficial Dragonborn Patch, it will break dragon soul absorption if MO is handling the BSAs or if the BSAs are extracted. Mirroring the plugin order fixes this issue.
  15. I liked the effect on the Atronach without the Atronach texture in STEP I know. I saw that in-game recently. But I haven't tested it with the STEP Atronach or the varying icicles yet. It sounds like Aiyen is making a version of this type of thing as well, so perhaps we should wait until we can compare them?
  16. I was thinking about this, and I really don't see this as splintery. It looks like it has seen the sandpaper, especially at top of the wooden door. If it wasn't sanded, the edges and lines (the curved arch especially) would be all jagged. What is actually seen is like a smoothing of the wood as cut lengthwise like you see when they cut wood at the lumberyard. It doesn't look all jagged as there. So I really can't see what is splintery about it. Certainly, it does appear as the wood is aging that pieces have been falling off, but hardly in a state of disrepair.
  17. Actually, the player already is given the ability to construct these objects in the Dawnguard DLC at the Aetherial Forge. You craft a staff that allows you to create these little spiders and spheres. None to create the big boys, however.
  18. Child needs OBND for adoption in Hearthfire perhaps. BTW how can both be true?
  19. Sorry, it was RCI. I had no idea that was RCI. I thought it was HRDLC. That being said, I like RCI better.
  20. Which mods didn't you use?
  21. This does sound and look bad. I would try doing the following: 1. Delete everything in the meshes folder in data if it exists. 2. Verify game cache in Steam 3. Go into AMD CCC, hit Preferences, and select "Restore Factory Defaults" 4. Verify that there are no rogue dll files in the skyrim directory (d3d9.dll, etc.) 5. Download DirectX from here and install it (even if you did previously) If none of that works, post dxdiag information (Winkey+R, dxdiag, enter, Save All Information) so we know your system so we know what hardware we're working with.
  22. Is this how it's supposed to look?
  23. I'm not really sure this mod is better. It doesn't quite look like ash to me, and it is much different from vanilla, which doesn't look too horrible to me:
  24. We really need a good dwemer texture overhaul. This is the worst offender:
