  1. IIRC, you also mentioned once that disabling autosaves on fast travel can cause this issue. I know it is a common advisement among many to disable autosaves completely. In my testing, there were issues with setting uLockedObjectMapLOD below 16, which could be visibly seen on the map itself in the vicinity around where the player character was standing. Object LOD on the map would be decimated, and I believe this also must have been in some way related to the stuck LOD bugs. I have play tested for quite a long time using uLockedObjectMapLOD=32 with the DynDOLOD generated lod32 object LOD and have yet to witness stuck LOD issues.
  2. Discussion topic: powerofthree's Tweaks by powerofthree Wiki Link Required by SPID. Some of the tweaks sound like very welcome additions as well and will require testing.
  3. New update requires powerofthree's Tweaks. We really should be using that mod anyway.
  4. The INI file is mostly useless, except for these lines: [Display] bShadowsOnGrass=1 fIBLFAnamorphicsIntensity=0.0 fIBLFAnamorphicsIntensityFar=0.0 Basically all it is doing is making bIBLFEnable do nothing if it is enabled. Most agree that it should be disabled, including our instructions. bShadowsOnGrass is already 1 by default, so that really doesn't need to be there. The rest of the settings either cannot be set in a plugin INI (bSAOEnable, bIBLFEnable, bVolumetricLightingEnable, bScreenSpaceReflectionEnabled, bTreesReceiveShadows, bDrawLandShadows, bUse64bitsHDRRenderTarget, bUsePrecipitationOcclusion, fGamma, bDoDepthOfField, bLensFlare, iMaxDesired), are misspelled (grasswindmultiplier should be fWindGrassMultiplier), or in the wrong section (sIntroSequence needs to be in the [General] section in order to do anything). None of these settings should really need to be set by a weather mod, but thankfully, in its current state, it does no harm.
  5. Beta AE update on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/qwvhx0/enginefixes_ae_beta/
  6. OP is unchanged. Values for changes are overkill just for testing purposes so that I can see it if at all possible.
  7. Looks like you need to rerun DynDOLOD.
  8. The issue is that your LOD does not contain all the trees. It contains some of them, but not all of them. Most likely since you are using DynDOLOD 2, you are missing the necessary billboards for that version. It is much simpler to do as Z says and use DynDOLOD 3, where TexGen is able to make all the necessary billboards automatically. Recommended TerrainManager settings: [TerrainManager] fBlockLevel0Distance=53248 fBlockLevel1Distance=159744 fBlockMaximumDistance=331776 fSplitDistanceMult=1.000
  9. Couldn't remember the name when I was recording. Don't have Picta in atm. But, I would argue that even without ENB it stands out badly. ENB exacerbates the issue. Unfortunately, Youtube compresses the crap out of it until you can't really see it anymore, even at 2k.
  10. Just download Enderal Special Edition and copy the SkyrimSE.exe and bink dll.
  11. After playing with this awhile, I've found that at times this mod just simply looks off.
  12. No idea. I'd recommend just downloading Enderal Special Edition and grabbing the exe and bink dll from there.
  13. After much testing, I have discovered that a large portion of the tweaks I have in the config are NOT being applied to the game dynamically. It appears that the author has to add support for some new settings for them to work correctly. This includes the shadow tweaks and the LODFadeOutMult tweaks. You can't verify by pinging the console unfortunately. On the bright side, much of this is planned, and there is a new AE version.
  14. Updated OP with new config.
  15. How are they outdated? The Optional files are just optional files for different texture resolutions. Main file includes all necessary files.
  16. This was exactly my thoughts. It would be one thing if he just patched the plugin, but he bundles the entire mod unnecessarily.
  17. I really wish they had made it a simple plugin replacer instead of completely replacing the mod. BTW, your link is wrong.
  18. Disable Windows Defender Real Time Protection.
  19. Update file added. The changes don't really seem to do much of anything, so you really shouldn't need it need it.
  20. Discussion thread: Guide:Skyrim Special Edition Game Files by the Step Team Wiki Link This thread is for discussion and improvement of Skyrim SE Game Files guide on the wiki.
  21. Ensure you are using the corresponding DynDOLOD grass mode in both the NGIO config and in the DynDOLOD gui when you generate.
  22. Try removing Oblivion Mountain Fogs. I think that is the cause for the haze. Honestly, I've begun to seriously dislike that mod in-game. It seems quite over the top. This mod is probably not designed for 10x the vanilla size mountain fogs. Aside from that, I prefer 3.Picta for the actual horizon. I agree though that that haze is a deal-breaker if we can't fix it.
  23. That has been the main goal I have had for this... make changes that are hardly perceptible but improve performance in bad areas. Plus, actually add extra detail that you otherwise couldn't enjoy. I think the only ini file that would be saved by the game would be SkyrimPrefs.ini and it would only happen on occasion. The mod itself doesn't save it; it merely is pointing out a vanilla game mechanic, mostly for saving Settings such as sound volume.
  24. You evidently haven't enjoyed the pleasing effect of 8k shadows in interiors.
  25. Now that is just infuriating. You would think that they would make an exception here to their normal policy.
