    I feel the same. Some I like and others I do not. Staying with STEP would be my the preferred option. I would say just use the wine. I already am because I dislike vanilla. Even so it is a subjective retexture.

    Some of those issues revolve around STEP being used as a base. Other mods are added around it that are not included in STEP. This includes the barenziah/white phial issues since forgotten retex is not part of it. It seems like they just were not checked against each other or that the desired options from those two mods differed from what is in the retex. I don't know for sure. I noticed this when going through the install on a separate profile that was copied over from STEP.

    Thank you. Thanks for pointing me out to the manual as well. I figured out my issue was accidentally changing the load order.

    Would I need to rebuild LODS for changes in the ini settings such as tree, grass and lod distance?

    You can run beathini for separate profiles too. If you use it that is.

    Sounds good! I am interested to hear how it is. I have never done any of hearthfire, but this seems to add some nice features and QOL stuff..

    Yeah... sorry for the darker lighting. It was easier to go to the Temple of the Divines besides my current character being in Whiterun already. I might have chosen wrong for Ren's Mara. After reinstalling, here it is again in Riften. Vanilla>STEP>Remiros' (Remiro's was picking up a lot of candle shadow though.) Looking through them again and considering mixing I would go with: Akatosh: STEP Arkay: Remiros' Dibella: STEP Julianos: Remiros' Kynareth: Vanilla I guess Mara: STEP Stendarr: Remiros' Zenithar: Remiros' Talos: Remiros'

    A lot of the Ren's Shirines are a bit cartoon in their looks. I was surprised how well the vanilla shrines holds up. For Akatosh I would go with either STEP or Remiro's depending on if you think it should be more rusted or not. For Arkay, Dibella, Julianos I would go with Remiro's For Kyne either Vanilla or Remiro For Mara and Stendarr I actually prefer vanilla. Not by much. For Talos and Zenithar Remiro So yeah, my vote would go for Remiro's replacing STEP. I like that they are closer to vanilla while still being a nice improvement.

    I agree that the current combo should stay. It is the nicest combo I have played with so far in regards to STEP. There may be a better one, but it requires way too much work for minor issues. For me, Cathedral weather is so much less of a compatibility pain compared to the other popular options. Some of which I have tried and not enjoyed as much. Having tried out only using the CL ice the transitions and lods appear better and less out of place.

    I never really noticed up close besides ice being quite blue. I think I got used to it from using Just Ice for so long. But for the lod...huh, yeah I always wondered what was wrong with the lod and blamed something on my end setup wise. I was about to rerun lods and everything. I will check it out before I do and then after without Just Ice.

    Looks good from the screenshots. I would personally prefer the no bones version, but fine with either.

    It could always be placed under foundation, near rustic clothing, if we plan to use it for the textures that do not confilct.

    I am not a fan. I am only using it because it is part of the patches. I am actually trying to remove the mod from them which does not seem too hard so far. Anyway, the lanterns and their posts do stick out to me. This is especially true when they are blowing in the wind since most other objects do not to the same extent. Maybe the original would fit in and I would like the mod. From memory, I only remember taking issue with some of the placement of the lanterns and not so much the rest.

    Yeah that red makes the plant stick out very poorly. It somehow reminds me of morrowind level textures..

    I also like superior. It has a nice effect that looks more like a rock blending into the landscape. Which is what the mudcrabs are trying to do.

    I personally prefer cathedral's. It looks the most crisp in the screenshots. I also think hybrids are too lush for lavender where the individual flowers are hard to make out.

    Yeah, I was going to try this one out. Now I know not to due to the weird non-frozen puddles. Now half-frozen slushy puddles would be where it is at :p

    I agree Rally's is much more noticeable and that current STEP is blended better.

    I had the same ugly snow before following STEP for DYNLOD/xLODGen. Definitely do it!

    I have been using Better Spell Learning for quite some time. This seems like a more straight-forward, less intrusive version that I will have to try out..

    That color reminds me of chocolate candy coins lol. I never have been happy with coin retextures. Many of them stick out to much in game for such a small item.
