A Comparison of Water Mods
Eliian replied to TechAngel85's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
He said that he would not be adding waves back in. Also that it was the "final" version of WATER. Not sure how true that is. May decide to come back never know *shrug* It was suggested to use this mod if you wanted to bring back the waves outside of Solstheim. Link -
ACCEPTED Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM (by Brumbek)
Eliian replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Anyone know why the snow chest fix esp is no longer in the BOSS master list? -
wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
Eliian replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Just to let you know that since Legendary Edition is not released yet that this has not been updated to work with it. If you are having problems and using SR Legendary edition you are doing it at you own risk. -
That would be awesome if they did! I'm thinking that if people pay so much for it that they wouldn't want them to be forced to figure out DOSBox. Of course, I can also see them not caring one bit and basically sending them unaltered.
-
I'm not at all familiar with those mods. There is already one that does in fact alter shouts. However, it really only does the sounds. It is called Thundering Shouts. Check it out! It makes them more forbidding in my opinion. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3799/? As for overhauling the Shouts I am not sure. I've always thought it was one of the better parts of Vanilla Skyrim.

You could still get a better deal buying all the games through steam sales (if you do not mind buying digitally that is). The maps and the art books are really neat though.

Yeah. That makes sense. The mod actually does not really conflict with much. At least from what I can tell. None of the ones rootsrat mentioned to any harmful effect. So, if one was worried about compatibility issues..... so far so good I would say.
-
I'm not sure if it was William who got it into the user list or not? Just thought you might have because you normally help in that regard if I remember :) Anyway, it is now placed under Overrides C by Boss for those who are interested.
-
That makes perfect sense. I've not even finished the main story either. Like most around here I mod more than I play :P The dlcs are to extend upon the game anyhow. Have fun playing! :)

Dawnguard is on sale half price right now on steam. If you ever were going to buy them maybe now would be a good time? -- Getting it to work without Dragonborn is not hard at all.

DROPPED Distant Decal Fix (by SparrowPrince)
Eliian replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Would have to agree on this being removed based on what Arthmoor has said. Not that my consensus was needed :P -
Mammoth Faction conflicts - assistance required
Eliian replied to rootsrat's question in General Skyrim LE Support
There is actually a patch! Just open the first spoiler and scroll down to the bottom. You just have to add the Immersive events part to the patch as well. FCqt compatibility patches. -
There is actually a galaxy in the vanilla game. Here is the thread. LINK Would be best if any discussion on this issue would be placed there. That way this thread is not cluttered
-
That would be correct =) Of course if you do not mind the coloured compass icons you can still use it.
-
I would agree for a removal.

Didn't he make it so even if you do not start the mod in the menu that is essentially what it does? That is what we were suggesting too according to page one. As for DLC plans. From the Author :) -- "Yes, it is compatible with all of the official DLCs. I have not added any specific adjustments related to any of the DLCs just yet, but all of the existing features will work fine regardless of whether or not you have any or all of the DLCs installed. A future update will likely include Dawnguard factions in with the faction bonus, Location adjustments for Solstheim, etc." --

DROPPED No Boring Sleep-Wait Menu (by Humbro8282)
Eliian replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I just tried Sleep Wait Menu - 48 hours out. If you set it to 31 days the scrolling bar get's very large making you almost have to use the arrow keys. It is easy to set it at the maximum of course. Just click at the end. Getting to a specific time is a bit easier with No Boring. There is not as much scrolling involved as is to be expected with that mod's features. As for the speed. No Boring Menu is a bit faster maybe. It is not super easy to tell. They are essentially the same in this regard. -
Edited. Removed it from the removal section That was my fault sorry. I put "Interface Key Mod" when I meant Interface Key tweaks.

DROPPED No Boring Sleep-Wait Menu (by Humbro8282)
Eliian replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I will probably personally continue to use it. The stylistic change does not bug me even if nothing fits it. Also, I do not see any other mods on the nexus that change the menu or allow you to wait for as long as this mod does. -
Added to the removal section as suggested. Didn't add Time on Loading Screen from the ones I listed. Looking at the time on the menu cannot be anymore immersion breaking than tabbing out or using steam. Held/holding off on other mods that are less obvious of a removal and or a decision has not yet been made (even if they have issues).Â

I used it way back then. It seems a lot better. The mod author re-did the mod from scratch a while back. To make everything more stable and cleaning up the scripts. It does add a number of animals. No more than More Village Animals. Less even in some places. Several of the new types of animals could be questionable for Skyrim (pigs, sheep and goose)? They are not everywhere like chickens, goats and cows however.
-
I would lead on the side of yes :) -- Interface Key Mod Time on Loading Screen Death Cam options Simple Crosshair Those seem the most obvious to me. I would personally argue to get rid of Roosters at Dawn and More Village animals in preference to Skytest. Since it is more stable and does the same things and more. I would also argue to remove Lantern Caretakers for the reason Neo suggested. I have came to the same conclusion. Edit: AH! You posted as I was typing :P For next update then :)

This is a cool idea. I am a little wary of what happens when there are a bunch of dead bodies too. Doesn't the game clear out corpses when you leave an area though? Or is that only after 30 days or whatever the time may be.

I have only been able to successfully complete a few quests. I will be trying to do more. One of them I did was pretty good. Not to spoil too much, but this Breton in the Solitude catacombs is very creepy. I did enjoy it. There is also a couple around the Markarth area that are sort of funny. Sitting around drinking Skooma and telling you of their hallucinations. :P Another one sort of felt like a fetch quest unfortunately. I am thinking in the same way that the voice quality and npcs differ so will the quests.
