Makes sense that you would only support release versions. I was just giving you a heads-up about the setting, because I hadn't heard of it before. Should be out of beta in a week or two.

FYI, some info you might find interesting, DY, regarding "iNumSplits=2": https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/5c2msu/pc_i_was_still_in_beta_for_sse_11_now_its_beta/d9tlh06/

Better Dynamic Snow is part of the Ruffled Feather. -

I think the Apophysis (sp?) Dragon Priest masks don't need that fix, IIRC. -
Odd Behavior during New Game Carriage Ride
Nebulous112 replied to Badfrog88's question in General Skyrim LE Support
It depends on the mod which patches you need to re-do. But if you don't know, it can't hurt to re-do the whole patches section. Doesn't take much time (besides DynDOLOD, but just have a coffee and read a newspaper or something for half an hour). I make categories in MO that are associated with the STEP categories. But it is pretty easy to tell what the patch section mods are. -
Odd Behavior during New Game Carriage Ride
Nebulous112 replied to Badfrog88's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yeah, I would remove the patches section and go through it again after installing AS-LAL if I were you. Shouldn't take long, and that way you know everything is good to go. Make sure to run LOOT before you do the patches and again after all is said and done. -

Ralof issue is a known bug with Cutting Room Floor. The carts going crazy is known as the "Helgen wild ride". Very well known. Just happens when there are a ton of scripts firing during the intro sequence. The best way to fix that is to use Arthmoor's Alternate Start - Live Another Life mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9557/? Wait a few minutes before talking to the statue. The vanilla start is "crossing the border illegally". Something to skip the cart ride altogether, but put you in the same general area to continue from vanilla is "camping in the woods". -

I voted for RS. I think it is important to keep the guide as close to base as feasible. -

I don't want to touch the transgender debate with a 10-foot pole...honestly, who cares? As long as it doesn't affect me, I couldn't care less what transgendered individuals do. I would prefer my tax dollars didn't go toward their surgery unless a physician considered it medically ncessary, but I am sure some of them would prefer that their tax dollars don't go toward my lung cancer treatments in 30 years if I continue to smoke. I guess it evens out. ;-) However, to respond to the original post, I agree that people get far too offended in this day and age. If my being a white, straight, male offends someone, then they need to get their head examined. I don't care about someone else's race, gender, sexuality, etc. It doesn't affect me, so why should I care? More to the point, why should someone else care enough to demonize me because I am not a part of one of these minority groups? I just don't understand the thought process. Haven't we learned yet to try and judge individuals whenever possible? By the way, I had to look up what "cis" means...apparently this means identifying with the gender you were born with. I guess I am that, too...I am honestly surprised there is a word for this. :-P Anyway, political correctness has gone too far. We need to use common sense and just go back to the notion of being polite to each other, while still being able to discuss emotionally charged issues. I think people have forgotten that individuals are responsible for their own reactions. -
Also note that STEP and Skyrim Revisited are two separate guides. SR:LE does not use STEP as a base.

Use Neo's replacer .esp.

Atlas Map Markers, two Atlas Legendary.esp installed?
Nebulous112 replied to blur210's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
They are named the same. One will override the other. You can't have two .esp's named the same in MO. Personally, I deleted the original and kept the updated one, but you shouldn't need to as long as you install the updated one after the original. -

Well, the updated one will override the one from the original mod. But you want to use the updated one. -

Report them to Sheson. -
The STEP Guide is here: https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9.2 Extended means install all the mods except the couple it tells you not to install for extended. Core means install just the mods with the green vertical bar beside them.

SKYRIMLE Everything + The Kitchen Sink
Nebulous112 replied to Mr_Moal's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
SSE will be a separate game in Steam from all indications. Skyrim installs should be safe. It will just be added to your Steam library and available for download like any other game on October 28th if you already have Skyrim and all DLCs.- 148 replies

SRLE - First runthrough issues...
Nebulous112 replied to Gutmaw's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Hey Gutmaw, Please post your enblocal.ini in spoilers.
text
It shouldn't be hitting you that hard. What is your FPS @ 1080p? -
AF does not need to be off when using ENB. Personally, I use Tech's recommendation and turn it off in the Skyrim INI settings and the ENB settings and force it in the driver.
-
I got way better FPS in Enderal removing some of their questionable INI settings. Obviously still need the lines Hishy mentioned for the BSAs to load. But some of the other stuff is no good.

Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition (SR:LE) is not a pack...it is a whole different guide. If you choose to install SR:LE you should use a brand new profile so none of thr STEP mods are acive and install all the SR:LE mods and follow all steps and directions. Just like STEP, the guide assumes you install all the mods. Otherwise the premade conflict resolution may not work for you and you will have to do manual xEdit CR work. That doesn't mean that you can't install lower quality textures for some of the mods if you want (like the performance version of Noble Skyrim or Vivid Landscapes). With your setup I would recommend lower quality textures where you can. 1k for exteriors if possible. Also, SR:LE is quite a bit more intensive on your computer than STEP, with the higher quality textures and especially the ENB.
