Tannin is looking into the BSA loading problem that MO has had with FNV/FO3. He needs to know if if Oblivion exhibits the same behavior. Steps to produce the error: Install mods with BSAs that's name matches the plugin ex: SomeMod.bsa and SomeMod.esp/esm Do this one by one until the game will not even start. Change the name of one of the BSAs from SomeMod.bsa to SomeMod - something something.bsa and see if the game loads.

Updating is tricky depending on what type of mod. If it doesn't have a plugin then it can be added in no problem. If it is something that is part of a section with merging instructions then it should be left alone until you start a new playthrough. Mods that add items to the game are usually okay to install without problems as long as they don't affect a quest. Gameplay mods should not be messed with during a playthrough because they can add stuff to saves. if you do mess with the load order, yes you need to redo LOOT and Bash. -

It really looks nice, an upgrade from the one that is already in F&L which I thought was quite nice already and waaaaaaaaaay better than the vanilla. -

Don't mess with anything. I should have said that I found away around a bug, not that anyone should do anything about it though. I just now know where to draw Tannin's attention so he doesn't have to endlessly search around in code for it. Hopefully, it is something that can be changed and a future update of MO will allow for the use of all BSAs without problem. -

SkyUI works with MO just fine. You are not installing something properly and that is why it does not work. Try following the instructions for SKSE and SKYUI from the STEP Guide. THere is a link up top on the nav bar. -
Handheld flashlights are equipped light a gun, you actually hold it in your hand. You take a handheld one and make it into something you wear with a workbench. You use the hotkey while wearing the flashlight as a harness or belt or attach it to one of the helmets somehow. I've never done that.

No, I'm just saying that I have narrowed down the bug. I know where to point Tannin to, so he can change it and we don't have to extract any BSAs if he can fix it. -
Hey I figured out a part of the BSA thing. It has to do with the greyed out BSAs. Add enough of them that the game doesn't load then just add something to the end of the name. SomeBSA.bsa becomes SomeBSA - something something.bsa and the game will load.

I think I've finally stumbled onto the BSA problem. It has to do with the the greyed out BSAs. Those have explicitly matching names to their corresponding plugin so MO loads them automatically or something. The only that aren't greyed out and have check boxes have no issues. Try it out. Add back your BSAs until the game won't start. Then change one of the names of the greyed out BSAs by adding something to the end of it's name, so for example Afterschool Special.bsa->Afterschool Special - I love tacos.bsa. The game will then load. -
Installing Fallout New Vegas Enhanced Content with MO.

Try running the exe through MO and if it installs the mod it will pop out in the Overwrite folder at which point you can create a mod from it. -
It may be the same guy with a different name. It may be someone who had permission. Who knows, but it's better to let the admins know so it can sorted out.

Are you using the recommended WAR settings? They are the only ones that work with the guns you probably have problems with. It's how I fixed the problem. -

I think you are pretty much left with loading all your mods with the GECK and using that. It will probably take a while. If there was a FNVLODGen it would be so much easier. -

I looked at the actual script for Klamath Bob and it is only two lines, the script name and a variable. There is no blocktype, no commands, and really nothing in the script at all. I'm guess it wasn't needed, but Yuki just left it in. The ITMs from the Mantis Guantlet are harmless, but you can clean the merged plugin if you want, it shouldn't have any UDRs. -

You can google how to fix them, but I have never encountered any problems with those two navmeshes. Both seem to be off in areas that you wouldn't really go to anyways. -

Yeah, I've had my eye on a couple of those. He just has so many mods that I forget about some of them even being installed while testing. I might take a little break from adding mods to that section though, since it's already over twenty mods. Do people really wear metal armor anyways? Alright, I'll add that page somewhere in the guide, not sure where yet so I'll have to figure something out. There is already a stealth suit mod that might conflict with the one yuki made, so I don't know if it would work since there are different versions of the suit in that mod. I think it's called Legacy of X-13. -

Okay, the page in the post above for yuki's tweaks is done. At least until start testing even more of yuki's mods. I'm starting to run out. It has 22 mods now, so that will how you guys over for the time being. So far the only ones I left out from him are Higher Companion Level which I did just in case it messes with JIP CC&C, and Misc Items are Weapons (I think that's what it is called) because it's just too much. Weapon overload is a problem with all the other stuff in game. The mod is great, but you just want the hammer, wrenches, and scalpels to go back the Misc section when in your Pipboy or containers. THe main reason for moving that section another page is the length of the entire guide. It helps page load times when I break it up. I'll probably move to that page after I read it again in the morning with some fresh eyes. If anyone want's to look at it and see if there are any omissions or mistakes let me know. I might add a bunch of FNVEdit stuff, but I'm waiting to see if Yuki will update the Cave Fungus mod since that is like 99% of the edits. I even offered to update it for him. There was a laser gun I've been meaning to get to that I finally tested. It doesn't work with the Weapon Mod Menu, so I'm not going to add it. It was the AER11 Blue Laser Rifle. It is really nice, but there are two errors, one minor and one major, that I can't abide. That's right, the dude doesn't not abide. I think that I'm also going to turn the Advanced Recon mods into their own section. I'll put it within the UI section, but all those mods are by Gopher and I think they may be mergable. I don't know yet, but I think redirishlord did it a while back. If they aren't, then I will leave out merging instructions. -

Yeah, it's pretty much combining records that Wrye can't do. I want to use the caliberX bullets types with the impact data sets from IMPACT. Then it's just deciding which bullet casings to use. I'll have to compare them. A little sneak peak for another page I just about finished. I just want to know if that is something that people might want. I could just add some mods that people can kinda plug and play without worrying about save games. I like having the Vault Girl stuff for my current playthrough since I'm doing a female. It's nice to have the pipgirl and all vanilla/dlc icons as the vault girl instead of vault boy. There is a different Vault Gilr replacer that is just for the message icons that pop up, like for sneak attacks or completing a challenge, that I really like, but it isn't the full package and it doesn't have a DarnUI version. I wonder how hard it is to mess with those type of textures. I'll have to ask someone. -
