Graphics issue... blurred and soft focus
EssArrBee replied to DanielCoffey's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
There is a worldspace reference in the Crossbow that causes the FPS issue. People say to delete it from the plugin, but then the explosive bolts will not work correctly or may cause CTD. I guess you could turn off the Bloom. I didn't realize that was one with ENBoost. FNV doesn't have that same line that Skyrim does for turning off graphics completely. It can be a bit of a guessing game. -
SKYRIMLE Realistic HD Mushrooms (by Halk_Hogan_PL)
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I agree that we should wait. Just leave it in testing until the author adds more to it. -
incorporated No Spinning Death Animation (by dDefinder)
EssArrBee replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have it included in the next version of the patches. -
DROPPED TDN Vampire Armor Retexture (by Nightshade)
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
In game Nightshade has the best look IMO. The red armor is the only one that really makes a big jump from vanilla. The thing I'd point to is the actual leather look which Nightshade does best. EotW was a bit more detailed than vanilla but it didn't strike me as anything special. It also covers more of DG so I'll have to add that mod to testing and look at more stuff it covers. -
Dragon Age: Inquisition Trailer and Release Date
EssArrBee replied to Neovalen's topic in General Game Discussion
Well, since I'm guessing you don't own a super computer you could dedicate your Witcher 3 time to DA:I. -
STEP Core is compatible with just about anything, so if you want to expand on the installation then it is okay. The instructions are explicit for those installing only STEP, but you can install mods any way you want. With Mod Organizer you can install all of STEP, then copy the profile and modify that profile anyway you like. You can also install multiple instances of a mod by changing the name of it during installation if you want multiple copies for different profiles. You may have noticed that some mods have a green bar, those are Core. Extended mods are mostly compatible with everything, but you're going to have to look at any mod pages for incompatibilities yourself.

Just the Project Nevada Rebalance modules. I don't know if they are compatible or not. -
DROPPED TDN Vampire Armor Retexture (by Nightshade)

I'll add EotW's versions to the mix. Here are the male versions of this mod. HRDLC (Current STEP)->Nightshade Vampire Armor->EotW -
DROPPED TDN Vampire Armor Retexture (by Nightshade)
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I really like these. The vanilla ones look faded and like crappy clothe that wouldn't provide any protection from something that is light armor. This mod looks like leather. Something that might actually give the person wearing it some protection. I didn't do the gloves or boots though, but they match the armor, so no need really. It is brighter and more cleaned up than the vanilla, but vampires love their vanity, so they'd probably have some nice threads to match their egos. SKYRIMLE Realistic HD Mushrooms (by Halk_Hogan_PL)
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Time for me to start doing my favorite thing again. Screenshots. So there are only three mushrooms in this pack so far, but I like them. The bleeding crown is a little far from vanilla, but with the Mystery Modder textures, we really need something for STEP. I used the indoor planters from HF to take the first set, it would be a lot like the ones out in the wild. Vanilla (Current STEP)->Realistic HD Mushrooms->Vanilla World Object->Realistic HD Mushrooms World Object White Cap Fly Amanita Bleeding Crown -
I'm already testing.

I've tried getting ahold of a few authors myself to make some updates, mostly VT08 who did the ADAM mod since it is packaged in the worse possible way. I just ended up having to get a version with an installer that I keep on my cloud storage and if he ever comes back, I'll figure it out then. Not sure Darn or Imp or Robert are ever coming back. I have mucho xEdit experience, but my GECK skills are lacking. I know some GECK stuff, so I'm not an amateur, but that doesn't mean I can start making quests. So we can just use the DarnUI you made with FNV and all the mods like OneHUD? or do we still need to use the old one with mods? I made a TTW account recently, so as I start getting a bit more into it, I'll make posts/contributions anyway I can. FTFY

Problems Useing Loot And wrye Bash With MO.
EssArrBee replied to KennethElliot2015's question in Mod Organizer Support
It's not going to mess up the Bashed Patch, it's just that results page isn't displaying properly. I wouldn't worry to much about it. I bet it would be fixed in the next version of Wrye Bash. -
I finally installed TTW today. I might actually take a swing at playing. I should probably do a C&PD setup first, but man installing these guides is so much work. Did you guys know this? Really, the people that make them should really consider this.

UI layout and keybinding questions
EssArrBee replied to DanielCoffey's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
I tend to pick Wild Wasteland and sometimes I pick Small Frame. It makes you injure quickly so the game is a bit harder at lower levels. If you don't want any Traits then pick Wild Wasteland only since it doesn't affect any stats, it only adds some weirdness to the wasteland. Can't help you with mapping stuff for a leftie. I'm actually a controller player, so I don't even use the WASD setup. Project Nevada doesn't replace VATS with bullet time, it gives you the option. Bullet time should be the 'c' key by default. OneHUD is your best friend. It lets you move everything around that is really necessary. You can also remove brackets, disable icons, and remove anything you don't want. It has a hotkey to enable/disable all the HUD icons, 'i' as default. I move all my stuff around here's a screen: So I'm also using cellHUD, but your hp/ap bars and compass should show the default DarnUI style. This is how it looks when I press 'i'. The stuff in the top right is from HUD Extended and the Radar is from Radar Mod I think. Those aren't in the guide and I don't think they will be. If you put on power armor then the PPA icons would be on the left just above all my needs/combat stats/resists. You can move the PPA icons by pressing 'P' for 1 second and using the arrow keys to move them. The dots on the bottom right are from PN replacing the [HIDDEN] icon for sneaking with the discreet version. My gun condition/ammo icons overlap a little with the grenade and the AP icon because I just installed cellHUD and didn't move it. It wouldn't do that if I used the default DarnUI. The last two that aren't showing are Selective Fire and Weapon Overheating. I put the Weapon Overheating icon on the left of the grenade icon and make it as small as possible. You can rotate it to look be horizontal or vertical. The Selective Fire icon is placed just above the gun condition and I use the alternate version which is much smaller. Moving all the main icons, the stats on the left side, compass, and sneak meter are all from using the iHUD, aHUD menus that are from OneHUD. It also supports Thermal Recon Nightvision and moving the icons for that, but I usually use other helmets than the ones in that mod. -
Looks like it's back up already. I was trying to use kickass.to but it kept trying to redirect to kickass.so.

Kickass Torrents is down. It was taken over by a domain seizure. SRO will not be available unless we post the .torrent or magnet link directly.

You need at least v1.2.17 of MO. The nexus CLI error is from older versions. -
ACCEPTED Weapon and Armor Fixes (by kryptopyr)
EssArrBee replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I didn't see anything in the changelog for the keyword SPIKEWeapFancySwordBlack being added to the daedric swords. Is that new? Should it be applied to the True Orcish/Daedric Weapons plugin? EDIT: Appears that Elven blades had SPIKEWeapElvenBlade added too, but they aren't in the True Orcish/Daedric Weapons plugin either. EDIT2: Other than those two things, I can give you the updated plugin. -

Pip-boy and Terminal screen all white/blank
EssArrBee replied to brunodragic's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Those should be in the vanilla BSAs so you shouldn't be missing them. Maybe something else is messing with the pipboy. Did you install any other mods not in the guide? -
MO warning when installing STEP extended
EssArrBee replied to H2Odk's question in Mod Organizer Support
Ignore it. It's just telling you there is a potential for conflict, but we already looked it over and it's fine the way the guide says it should be. -
Pip-boy and Terminal screen all white/blank
EssArrBee replied to brunodragic's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
If you did texture optimization hide these texture: architecture\barracks\blackdoor.dds architecture\barracks\blackdoor_n.dds architecture\barracks\white.dds pipboy3000\screen.dds pipboy3000\screen_n.dds Just use the data tab on the right pane and navigate to the textures folder and find the texture, then right click and hide. -
Pip-boy and Terminal screen all white/blank
EssArrBee replied to brunodragic's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Did you do texture optimization? The DDSopt INI is supposed to make DDSOpt skip the pipboy textures. You go into the mod with those textures and hide the pipboy screen ones to fix it. I can't remember the names off the top of my head but I'll get them in a bit when I'm not on my phone.
