Looks like the LOD rock texture is messed up. Vurt's WFO comes with LODs for different mods like Poco Bueno or NMCs. Which ever of those two loads last is the LOD that you should choose from Vurt's.

I think so. We're going to be updating the STEP guide soon to accommodate for the change. -

It should after the first time you run it. I don't know why stuff is getting mixed up in your MO versions. Are they installed in your game folder? -
ACCEPTED Better Shaped Weapons - BSW (by masterofshadows and LeanWolf)
EssArrBee replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Doesn't Closer Quivers also have compatibility patches? We might need to look into that. I think the AMB Skyforge Weapons and Explosive Bolts Visualized are the ones. -

I don't put instructions to clean navmeshes because it isn't that easy. If there was a script for it then I'd do so. You might need to tag those mods with Eyes in Wrye Flash and regen the Bashed Patch. That is a known VATS bug, it can appear in the vanilla game too. Basically, you have to move around from limb to limb until the targeting stuff disappears, then it will regenerate after a couple seconds. Minor annoyance, but not much we can do about it. -
The masterlist updates separately. It should list everything in the metadata for the mod when you try to edit it or you can open up the masterlist in .../Appdata/Local/LOOT/Skyrim with Notepad++ or something that reads .yaml. Don't change your masterlist file. The userlist.yaml is your added metadata. Actually now that I check, some of those changes are not added yet.

ACCEPTED Weapon and Armor Fixes (by kryptopyr)
EssArrBee replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Mostly I was just asking so I could update the plugin, but since you did it on your own, then forget about my questions. If you need help with any specific thing then just let us know when you post the preview. I will definitely merge any patches to the STEP Patches and I've written a page for the Patches that say what the required mods are or what you need to download if you don't use them. But we love them... -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
I'd love to have a static xEdit cleaning template I could use across the entire site. It would probably help out a lot. I think we do have something, but I really need to upgrade it. I could probably make a cool template for the merging instructions too. My basic merging instructions are pretty universal now. Just list the plugins, and what mods to untick afterwards. Everything else is the same. My other idea a while back that I never released was a wiki version of the xEdit manual. I have some text file already setup for it, but I never finished it enough to actually post it. I really need to do that to, it would benefit all modders. 2.2.9.1 is actually progressing nicely, plus it's dev is about to pick up a bit more I believe, so I'll have a better idea of what kind of help I need when we get closer to that release. Alright, I think I know what my timeline looks like right now. STEP 2.2.9.1 Fallout Modding Tutorial/FAQ/Something something xEdit ManualI'll do some F&L stuff along side the last two probably. I probably gotta write a bunch of DynDOLOD stuff for the wiki too. It never ends... -
That sucks. I really wanted to add that in. If you use MO and LOOT for multiple games, the argument forces LOOT to start for that game. Without it LOOT just opens up to the last game that it was run for, which is time consuming and annoying. I guess I'll just have to figure something else out.
-
I was trying to add instructions for an argument on the LOOT page withing the MO Note template and it would bug out if I added the line and just show {{{1}}} where the text should be. The line I was adding was: #For the "Argument" field, type "--game=Skyrim", without quotations. Is the --game=Skyrim not allowed or something?

I'm pretty sure I pushed the AMB/CCO rule in my last commit, I'll have to check it again, they may not take everything I push. I did like 10 rules. I only see the need for one custom rule in all of STEP, AOS behind ADS. That is a STEP preference. My goal is to get the rest in the masterlist because they are necessary.

DROPPED STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures (by z929669)
EssArrBee replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Actually, the performance version has a 1k max resolution, where as the other version will use the resolution of the actual texture that the vanilla textures use. If you want the default resolution then don't get the performance version. -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback

I have something that I want to gage people's opinions and interest on. For a while I've been thinking of taking all the info Kelmych and I have gathered on installing and maintaining Fallout games and mods and putting it in a separate guide. It would break down apps, mod managers, and complex mods with instructions, tips, and FAQ where necessary. This would also be something that started with a main page and linked to a few (probably half dozen at most) pages split into categories. I'd probably break it down something like this for a utility: Get program here(link). Install this way(instructions). (optional) Additional installation info(adding executable in MO, FO3 or FNV specific info) Important shortcuts, tips, and tricks FAQI'd probably put most utilities on one page, complex mods on one page, have an MO page for just awesome stuff that I know that helps everyone save time and energy. It would be something cool to link to around the internet since I don't always like pointing people to a guide when they just need to install LOOT correctly. I'd like to here some ideas. Also, STEP testing is getting done at good pace. I should be back to doing FNV and TTW stuff soon. -
ACCEPTED Better Shaped Weapons - BSW (by masterofshadows and LeanWolf)
EssArrBee replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This mod updated to 2.0 recently and the mod page needs an update. I did the last one just a few days ago, but leanwolf seems to be putting in some time on it. Hopefully, he finishes DG and/or DB so we can drop one of those optional files from De-LARP soon. -
I've been committing some masterlist updates and removing mod page rules as the LOOT guys accept my pull requests. So if something is missing from a mod page, don't fret. If it's not showing in LOOT properly then let me know.

I added to the development guide and forgot about the change log. Can't get back to my computer for a while.

Bookmarklet for downloading nexus manual files with a mod manager
EssArrBee replied to mscheetham's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Hey, I'm bumping this thread now that I moved it to a general sub forum. Everyone should check it out for those annoying mods with no manager button! -
I'll mark this accepted and setup the wiki page and stuff.

I thought normals were done with lossless compression, something like 8888. I'm sure he would too. I'm sure he'll just give us blanket permission for the mod to do as we please since he knows we're not going to take it in some weird direction. Kryptopyr wants to do the same thing in case she steps away. SP really left though, he doesn't even own a computer right now. That's what you call cold turkey, not sure my will is that strong. I think there are three or four SP mods for distant detail, distant terrain, more distant terrain, and terrain bump. I'll do city bump tomorrow.

If all three of the Staff agree + we had Nearox who liked and suggested it then that's enough for me. It isn't a huge texture overhaul or something.
