They will be in there every time you run the game. THey are created by UIO for HUD on the start of the game. Just ignore them, or delete them, it doesn't matter.

I've played around enough with this mod to know that some stuff should be accepted. Just to start I'll recommend the Talos super HD mesh with texture. It doesn't hit performance like I thought it would. Namira with mesh and texture is really good too, it reflects the light in the room much better. Nocturnal mesh and texture since it's awesome, you'll know when you see it in a load screen. Actually, most these are best seen in load screens. Most of the lady statues are not right. IDK, maybe we need a female perspective on that, since the author decided enhance there chest regions. I didn't really do the best job with the screens, so an in game look would be best so you can really see the differences in the meshes that screens can't show to well. -
Are we dropping Vano's HRDLC in favor of our optimized texture pack?

Updated my post above with Serious HD v3.0. I don't like the rocks or road from Serious, but I like just about everything else. All three are really nice in game and I bet combining them somehow would be the best outcome, but I'm not doing that much work right now. I would probably do it at one point, since I hate fun. AMB has it's own rock textures. They aren't that great in game, but Cabal is working on new ones. -

Yeah, I know the plugin is needed, so I'll just put that into one of the STEP Patches to save a plugin slot. I meant that I didn't see that it came with meshes. I changed the instructions. It is correct now. My bad. -

Wow, I just noticed that Realistic Ragdolls has skeleton meshes. I'll have to rethink incorporating it. That is probably why XPMS needs it. -

It's not really as you complete more quests, it's as you have more quests active. Try to finish up three or four and it gets a little bit better. -

I honestly haven't looked at any skyrim animation/skeleton stuff in so long I wouldn't know to start. Ragdolls is just changing one simple setting in the record for the different skeletons. It's also has universal permissions, so I use it in the Extended patch. -

A few screens I just did. I really like some stuff in STEP and like some stuff in this pack. I haven't done everything obviously because there is a lot. I'll add to this I feel like it. STEP->AMB Landscape on top of STEP Like I said, I like some of this stuff a lot like that one ground texture from The Reach. The bridges look good too. Some other stuff I like STEP stuff. More screens one day. I like all three while I'm in game, so I don't know really. I'd say the best course of action is to pick and choose the best like the old mod combiner days, but I don't want to put in that amount of work ATM. If someone has that kind of patience then they can do it. I did that for Solsthiem and it actually worked amazingly when I got feedback from about 8 or so people. This is different though, it's like three or four times the textures and work involved probably goes up on a curve. -

We usually update it retroactively, but we are developing an update to STEP. Also, the last few days no one has really been up to the task of going through the mod and seeing what STEP needs. Tech is looking into a STEP option for the fomod and I'm probably going to be doing some screens for the mod since it's got some new stuff.- 307 replies

You can edit and compile scripts with Notepad++ very easily. Basically, by hitting ctrl+f5 when you setup it up.

Textures\Terrain\Tamriel\Trees\TamrielTreeLod.dds in vurt's SFO got changed from the default to the one shown in the screen. Not sure how that happened, but reinstalling the mod works. It was just that texture, the rest were fine, so go figure. -

I don't think FNV is exactly friendly with Windows 8. It's designed in the XP/Vista days, uses directX 9, and is of course made by Bethesda. -
You can switch Poco Bueno and NMC in the left pane. It will make NMCs' take care of landscape and will have the correct LODs. Or you can hide the Poco Bueno rock textures. That means finding the texture file name and hiding it via the Information pop up of the mod.

I don't think you need to remove all the mods, or really redo the merge. Just move the Merged Fixes.esp to the top level in the Filetree tab and it will be fine. -

That doesn't matter actually. The 1.7 and 1.75 both work for that particular merge. I just think something was a little batty in the Overwrite folder and it messed up somehow. -
