For those with the shadow stripping issues and are not able to run a full on ENB I'd recommend the preset from JawZ, ELEP. It's as lightweight as presets come and has all the shadow fixes that you get with full ENB presets. It also stays true the to vanilla color scheme.

Trying lowering your VideoMemorySizeMb to something more like 10240. You're never going to use even that much just give it a try. Also, delete the enbseries.ini file if you have it installed.

We can get the FO3 and FNV tags available in the Post Processing Forum so they can post them there much like we're doing for the mods.

Does it still crash without the ENBoost installed? Because that sounds very much like a missing master issue. Can you post a screenshot of your MO as well as of your Skyrim directory?

Not every system is going to be the same. I personally get very little stripping with the default settings. There's a reason the shadow stripping debate on proper settings has been going for so long. It's because users really need to do their own tweaking to find the best results for them. There are too many factors to account for to say, "set your values to this and it'll fix it". Shadow stripping will be much like the [MEMORY] settings in enblocal.ini. We can recommend a base value for the parameters; however, ultimately the user needs to tweak them to his/her personal system.

Did you change any settings in your SkyrimPrefs.ini?

That's the message you get when only ENBoost is running. It's perfectly normal. If you want to run a preset, you'll have to change a few parameters in enblocal.ini. An easier way to test is to load the game, alt+tab out of the game, open task manager, and look for enbhost.exe in the processes tab. If you see that process there, it's working.

There have been many ENB issues crop up lately and many are using GTX 9xx cards. Noticed a few over on ENB Dev forums too. I'm just curious if it's the latest ENBSeries release that is causing the issues. If v0.262 runs okay with v0.265 doesn't, then I'll hit up Boris. But it needs to be tested.

Are you also using the latest drivers because that was where I was going to next?

I'm starting to see a pattern here. GTX 9xx cards seem to be having issues with ENBSeries. Could you try it with ENBseries v0.262 and see if ENBoost works with it? I'm just wanting to see if this is an issue with the newest version of ENBSeries to eliminate that as a cause.

As you that have been tracking this mod and testing it out know, I've been struggling to improve upon it from what I've already done. This is mainly due to my lack of texturing skills and partly due to the insanity of how Skyrim works. I want to let everyone know I'm tracking a new mod I found that might be an ideal solution for females in STEP (eventually). Right now only males are covered; however, the author wants to eventually cover females as well. The textures are super vanilla-friendly and are mainly HD versions of the textures which have been hand-painted. The work he's done with the males gives me high hopes as it seems to be top-notch for those that simply want a vanilla texture replacer (we use Better Males for Skyrim males). Mod: SkySight Skins

We're aware; however, there is no proof that the author made that page himself. Without that proof, we will not be pointing to the link for STEP because we honor all author's wishes. The author clearly wanted his textures taken down and removed from Nexus as he went as far as having his account removed.

I've updated the mods notes for RCI to skip the dragonclaws option during installation.

Are you running any type of 3rd party software which interacts with games that might interfere? Could you provide your enblocal.ini and a screenshot of your skyrim directory?

I know it's mainly mobile based cards; however, the only way to get a definitive answer is to go ask Boris... and then run for your life!
