  1. It's covered by the Book of Silence.
  2. Not anytime soon. We use Cabal's weapon retextures for STEP. (Book of Silence)
  3. Someone with the know-how should consider making a TES5Edit Guide on the wiki. I know most of the information can be learned elsewhere; however, it is one of the few Guides we don't have for the tools we use. It would also be convenient to have all the information in one place.
  4. Why would you want to unpack it? Just use the FOMOD and only check the Trap Makes Noise compatibly option. Nothing more to it.
  5. You'll probably still need it. Just know that if you're following the STEP Guide, we don't support NMM. It don't have the features needed to mod the way STEP does.
  6. RS works with ELE out of the box. LOOT sorts the ESPs correctly so no worries there. JawZ, author of ELE, is actually the one that has been updating RS.
  7. It is no longer needed. WB users will still want to use it, but MO has the fix integrated into the program itself.
  8. Unfortunately not yet. I've put this on the back burner to be able to take care of more important things with STEP right now.
  9. This is what I assumed. I learnt that the hard way as well when doing the STEP Female Overhaul. Normals shouldn't be resized with an optimizer unless you know the correct settings. That's takes a lot of playing around to figure out. In that time you could have simply recreated them from the diffuse for each down scale.
  10. I don't know, but supposedly it'll be much more consist and stable now. I haven't had any issues with loading saves or anything yet.
  11. Says he does so I would assume that he PMed SP about it. I'll let SP report here before reporting him.
  12. Skyrim: E:\Programs\Steam... MO: E:\STEP\Testing\ModOrganizer (this will be moved to the Skyrim folder once I update. It's only in this location due to testing a version of MO that ended up being my daily driver and being too lazy to move it) LOOT: E:\Programs\LOOT Most my system stats can be found in my signature.
  13. MO is closed and you download a mod from Nexus, it will open MO.
  14. I did an uninstall before installing the new version. No go. I did a clean install and no go, but adding that argument worked. For the record, I'm launching MO from the program itself (modorganizer.exe), not by via a download.
  15. Interesting... I did the same, but it's not working in my case. Not a big issue. I'm planning on upgrading to 1.3.5 soon anyway since Tannin said it is the RC as long as there are no major bugs.
  16. What version of MO are you guys running? The update seems to work fine on it's own but when I run it through MO v1.2.18 it doesn't do anything. Just opens and sits there with a blank window. EDIT: Confirmed it working in v1.3.5 but not in v1.2.18 ...could be the API changes...who knows. Can someone else confirm this? I'll post a bug report, if so.
  17. Yes, but that will be done for the next release as part of our cleanup right before we release. Technically, it's still part of the 2.2.9 Guide so it's still accepted until the new release.
  18. Sounds like he compressed/optimized the normals and shouldn't have. Normals are tricky like things that you have to be careful with. I'd go with Nazenn's recommendation of downsizing yourself until Halkhogan fixes them.
  19. There isn't to my knowledge.
  20. SP is fine. His sense of humor is well known and I honestly find myself cracking up when I read some if his posts.
  21. Yes, that version seems to do that with a lot of mods. You can create a new report or update an existing one on Tannin's bug tracker.
  22. The thing is, if Brumbek picks up these edits, all authors world be required to update their textures. That might be a good thing, but most authors would probably see it as an inconvenience. I've noticed most of Brumbek's changes do not require that.
  23. It's already been moved. No worries.
