Continuing in this thread! I've completed the installation now, however somehow is horribly wrong. When I launch the game, and get into the main selection screen, something is completly wrong with at least the resolution. I tried launching the game through Steam and applying ultra setting, this looked good. I'm not sure if this is something I messed up in the bethini system, which i did find quite confusing. But I'm not sure where to alter resolution if not through the launcher. Hope you can help :)

Hi all! I have gotten this message a couple of times now, when installing mods with MO. I got it when installing the 1.8 updates for SRO (which I unpacked and threw into the "mods" folder, so that it is now grey in MO, hope it still works), now I get it when attempting to install the STEP compilation, which i downloaded through MO. Is there a way to fix this? I read somewhere that rearranging the structure of the archive could work, but it hasen't for me (tried in SRO). ~Sincerely Halde

Thank you! I was just unsure on how it worked with SE, it could just be used interchangeably with the original. Since an admin answered this, I hope you could answer this is aswell, so I don't clutter the forum with questions :) In the STEP guide (extended is what i installed) from Bashed Patch through DDOLOD, I will need to remake these 5 steps each time I change the load order (ie. install a new .esp) right?

Hi all!! I've just begun a new setup of STEP and I have an issue in editing the Global Priority in plugins via LOOT. I launch through MO, find the plugin, hit "Edit Metadata" then under "Main" only "Enable Edits" "Group" are visible, with the respectable switch and drop-down menu at the right side. There are no option for "Global Priority" which is stated in the STEP guide, and also shown via screenshots on the official LOOT website walkthrough. I'm not very advanced in using these programs, so hopefully it's something easy to fix I am missing. I downloaded LOOT from the link in the STEP guide by the way. Hi all! In the STEP guide, does it account for SE edition? It seems to be considered two games in Steam, however the path for SE doesn't seem to be used in STEP. Is this by design, or should I assume they mean SE edition when it just says "Skyrim" whether it be the exe or the folder? ~Sincerely Halde

However, my MO can't find the HighResTexturePack01HighResTexturePack02HighResTexturePack03It can find the DLC's and the skyrim and update esm however. I don't have coin purse textures in Skyrim Redesigned, and according to STEP, there shouldn't be.

Hi all! I was told that this (which I posted in the bug thread) might be of more (if any) value here, than there: Not so much a bug, but perhaps a lag of description. If one (me for instance) is running a laptop (or SLI/dual graphics), I think it would be a good service to add the options of the Optimus Fix and/or Injector version. While you do mention the Injector version, you fail to mention that one needs to remanage the launcher list when using SKSE and the Injector in the enbinjector.ini. I don't know if you support the use of the Optimus Fix, nor if it is as effective as Injector version. Just a thought worth considering. Nice day to y'all!

Thanks for the answers! I managed to figure it out before I went to bed however. It turns out, it was Vivid Clouds and Fog. I have no idea why it would do this, I installed it as I have installed it numerous times before. Sadly I first removed DynDOLOD, which takes quite a while to set up again-.- Perhaps some corrupted files or something, I will try another version (I used the big file, the NMM installer).

Hi all! I have a major visual bug. I thought at first it was DynDOLOD, since it was the last visual mod I installed before I last checked. I have a screenshot of the issue here: And in Main Manu and loading screens: (These are spawning from the bottom left corner of the screen, and moving upward in a smooth motion) I still think it might be the DynDOLOD, since (and bear with me, I have NO clue about the technical stuff) installing it involved running scripts that included my entire mod list, so I can imagine something got stuck, that removing the mod didn't fix. And yes, the issue persist after I removed the mod. I have followed STEP to the letter, which is also why I can't imagine being anything else (I've installed STEP since 2.2.6), giving that this is the only game-"breaking" mod in the last couple of STEP versions, and this hasen't happend before. If it is this mod, I have no idea how I could fix it, other than deleting everything and starting over, but I really don't wanna resort to that. I do have some mods that aren't STEP, mainly gameplay mods, the big ones being Civil War Overhaul, Dragon Combat Overhaul, Vivid Clouds and Fog and Perkus Maximus, and the dusin or so patches that follows. However, I can't imagine it not being a visual mod doing this, and giving that the bug is only visible in the distance, where LOD would be generated, I find it hard to believe it is not related to DynDOLOD. Hi all! So after installing the complete STEP a "minor" visual issue arrive ingame, and I'm 99 % certain that it is due to this mod. This is the gist of the problem: Would it have anything to do with my issue, two posts up? Other than that, the only thing that wasen't according to STEP installation, was the fact that it overwrote other mod files (when it said in installation that it shouldn't).

I get a message that says "Access violation at address 00406A80 in module 'TES5Edit.exe'. R of address 00000000." However, in TES5Edit, it says "[Apply Script done] Processed Records: 0, Elapsed Time: 00:26" Is it supposed to error out just before finishing?

Hi all! According to STEP, one should download the FNIS Behavior V5_4_2 Fix 1 file. However, this is litteraly only .txt dokuments and contains no "data" (even though it has a "Data" folder). Should I ignore this? Perhaps it's a misstep from the author when he/she uploaded? EDIT: Nevermind, apparently there is not supposed to be anything but the two .txt documents.

Does anyone know, which texture/mesh the purple/blue flowers (the ones that look like Deathbell) have? They completly break immersion by not being interactive, so I'd rather remove them. Sincerely Halde

Hi all! I am running a laptop with Intel HD Graphics 4600 and a GeForce GTX 760m (2GB VRAM) Now STEP describes how to find the total video memory, but on my computer, it shows the memory for my Intel HD Graphics 4600 and not my GeForce GTX 760m. Is the total video memory for a 2GB VRAM card just 2048 (then subtract the 350 for Windows 8(8.1))? This is what I have done so far, but I'm not sure if this is correct. Sincerely Halde

Not so much a bug, but perhaps a lag of description. If one (me for instance) is running a laptop (or SLI/dual graphics), I think it would be a good service to add the options of the Optimus Fix and/or Injector version. While you do mention the Injector version, you fail to mention that one needs to remanage the launcher list when using SKSE and the Injector in the enbinjector.ini. I don't know if you support the use of the Optimus Fix, nor if it is as effective as Injector version. Just a thought worth considering.

Since this moves away from both Vanilla and realism, I can't imagine that this would be included.

What if one (such as me) does not have the "iShadowMapResolutionSecondary" in Skyrm.ini? I only have the "iShadowMapResolutionPrimary" in Skyrim.ini and "iShadowMapResolution" in Skyrimprefs.ini. Do I just add it right above "iShadowMapResolutionPrimary"?

Should Dual Sheath Redux for Perkus Maximus be installed instead of Dual Sheath Redux, or should be installed on top of Dual Sheath Redux? If it is on top off, which .jar file should I run first, Dual Sheath Redux Patcher or Perkus Maximus Patcher?
