  1. So I've just went through the Mod Organizer "start up" logs(the notes at the bottom when you open Mod Organizer). I think two of these multiple errors might have something to do with it "localization file NMMImport_da-DK not found" While I suspect this is not the cause, just because Nexus(albeit it's NMM and not Nexus site) is mentioned I thought I'd post it. "QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: C:/Users/<User>/Desktop/ModOrganizer/downloads" I suspect this is the one that is causing it. Now surprise surprise, I'm no Wiz at modding, pathing or computing in general. So if this is the cause, how to fix it? ~Sincerely Halde
  2. Thanks all! I will look into this in a bit, and reply back if magic happens or not. ~Sincerely Halde
  3. Hi all! Well the very long title basically says it all. When I attempt to download a mod, I get this message from Mod Organizer: failed to downloadhttps://fs-7.nexusmods.com/FS/Libs/Common/Managers/Downloads?Download&nid=100&fid=1000105927&ngn=12|2|3: could not open output fiile: C:/Users/<User>(ignore the text between these "()" I just wanted to stay anonymous)/Desktop/ModOrganizer/downloads/Hypothermia - DLC - IA Patchs Mergerd-53232-.7z.unfinished I just picked a random mod, to see if I would be able to download with Mod Organizer(which is one the reasons that I updated in the first place, the other being able to update Mod Organizer through the integrated "Update"). What I did when I updated was:The workflow is as follows: Delete the following in your current ModOrganizer directory: All files EXCEPT ModOrganizer.ini, nxmhandlers.ini, and categories.dat All directories EXCEPT downloads, mods, overwrite, and profilesNow download the latest archive(s) (There may be important optionals you need to install, so read the instructions.) Copy the contents of the latest archive(s) into your ModOrganizer folder, overwriting all.(Taken from https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer_Advanced#Updating_Mod_Organizer) Except I didn't delete first, I just directely overwrote everything in the folder with the 1.2.1 version of Mod Organizer(the !Beta! one) that I downloaded from the Nexus page. On another note. After this update, will I have to redo the FNIS and Skyproc patches? Because if I have to, at least the Skyproc Patcher is messing with me. ~Sincerely Halde
  4. Hi all! I have a problem with Mod Organizer. Some time ago, a problem arose with Mod Organizer not being able to connect to Nexus site, or for that matter, the internet. You couldn't update internally via Mod Organizer, and you couldn't download mods via Mod Organizer either. But it was very quickly learned that you just had to manually download and install the newest Mod Organizer client, and everything would be fine. I kind of took a break from playing Skyrim, and just started again. My problem is this: When I first set up STEP mods, it took me litteraly an entire day. I kinda don't want to do that again, because damn, was it tedious. Yet I want to update my Mod Organizer. I think my current version is 1.0.7. But the this is, if I update it, I will have to reinstall all the damn mods manually once more, without feeling. Is there a way to just transfer all the mods from on version to another, so I can install the newest Mod Organizer, and keep my current mods running? Sincerely ~Halde
  5. Ah ok. Yea I'm not using the ENB graphics.
  6. Hi all! I've installed STEP in early november last year and used it with great appreciation. I have only just recently installed ENBoost. When I open Skyrim(Through MO) ENBoost pops up in the left top corner showing something I don't know what is and showing my currrently used GPU. After this, something appears in red text saying something about ENBoost and that graphic modification is disabled. What does this mean? Does it such off some of my mods(I have basically all the graphical improvement mods of STEP(except Distant Terrain) and most set higher than STEP recommends. Still with this "warning" or whatever it is, I haven't noticed a noticeable(duh) change in my Skyrim. ~Sincerely Zeniet
  7. Hi! So I updated MO by downloading the new version and throw everything from the extracted folder into the old MO(or something like that). It did in fact update, stating version 1.1.1, and I can now use MO's Nexus features. I updated a couple of mods(used the merge option, i couldn't find any specfics on update on the mods nexus site). The mods are: - SMIM from 57-62(downloaded update from 56-61 and from 61-62). - Dynamic Loot v3.2(from 3.0 I think) - Greatsword Sheath and Scabbard Redux And then I think Elven Weapons of Silence. As I said, i use MO's merge option when I could. This applied to all except SMIM, which pretty much just installed like a regular mod. Now to the entire point of the thread, and my question. With this version, I started having very high drop in FPS. So bad in fact, that I could only load the game from a save that was inside of something(ie. not outside the open world), and if I walked outside, I would crash when on loadscreen. Inside my FPS dropped from a previously stable 50-60 to below 10(which is unplayable BTW). I tried using the old version again(made a copy, incase something would go wrong with the update, since i sounded risky overwriting files. So basically I know have 2 MO installed and can use them both seperately. I of cause use the 1.0.7 one. Would anyone know why this is? I've followed STEP pretty much to the letter with .ini tweaks, bashed patch, DSR patch, overwrite mod etc. etc. I have a couple of mods not in STEP and some mods in STEP I don't have. I should note that this is not like a fatal error, since I can play the game just fine with the old MO version, and there are really no difference to the game, I just can't use the nexus features with that version of MO. ~Sincerely Zeniet
  8. Hi all! As the headline says, my MO shows the date that i installed the mods(i pretty much did them all in a day), instead of the actual version. With some of the mods, like 10% perhaps, it does in fact shows the version, but not with the rest. It is all stated in thick red text, as if it was an error of some kind. Furthermore it doesn't help when i press "check all for update". Can someone explain? ~Sincerely Zeniet
  9. Thank you! On the installment, is it something i use as a mod?
  10. Do you mean this? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33227/? I find the description lackluster/vague. Can you tell me what it does? Furthermore is it something I need to install as a mod with MO, or is it something that i install otherwise manually?
  11. Hi all! So i wasen't entirely sure if this is a thread that should even belong on a forum like this, but i feel like google haven't given me much usefull information, and figured that maybe the same issue had arissen for someone here. I have a onboard Intel HD Graphics 4600. I have a GeForce GTX 760m GPU as well. Obviously i want my computer to run the latter. And i have actually always thought it did. I run Skyrim with a lot of HD mods and sometime i have a little lag. Nothing gamebreaking, but it can be a little annoying. I just got the ENBoost thingie. So when i now open Skyrim, it tells me which GPU my Skyrim actually uses. It turns out, that it uses the Intel HD Graphics instead of the GeForce. I've tried to go into nVidia control panel and set the global settings to the GeForce GPU(it's actually the only option). But the thing is, that it can only see the TES launcher and Skyrim launcher. It can't see the SKSE which i use from MO. Would this have something to do with it? Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? Or does my computer in fact switch to my GeForce when it feels like it needs to?. Specs: Windows 8 nVidia Geforce GTX 760m(laptop)(2GB VRAM) i7-4702MQ 2.2 overclocking 3.2 quad core 8GB RAM And then the damn Intel HD Graphics 4600 ~Sincerely Zeniet
  12. It doesn't really overwrite. It just install a second MO. Can i manually "copy" my entire mod list from my current MO directory to the new one perhaps? Or will that not integrate them properly? It doesn't come with an update, it just makes a second version of MO. So i now have the new one with basically nothing, and my old with everything.
  13. Will i have to reinstall all my mods manually? Or can current MO "integrate" the new MO? It took me an entire day to setup my mods and add patches via Wrye Bash and TES5Edit, and just to get all the mod installed. I'm not sure i feel like it's worth it if i had to reinstall it all manually.
  14. I have just tried that "fix", yet it didn't work. I am seeking active help on this after all. I have setted automatic login, and set the NMM version to 0.47.0, 0.47.1 and 0.47. Tried those 3, none of them worked. So if anyone would know why it doesn't work, i would be greatfull. And the nexus site is online btw, checked that as well. I get the same message, even after trying the workaround. ~Sincerely Zeniet My MO version is v1.0.7 I assume it's up-to-date, since i can't update it with the "update-globe" in the top right corner. If this isn't the newest update, would i have to install ALL my mods again if there infact is a new version and I reinstall MO? ~Sincerely Zeniet
  15. Hi! I have a problem with MO. The headline pretty much says it all. Whenever i attempt to check my mods for update, vi the "Check all for update" function, i get a message at the bottom of MO saying "Request to Nexus failed: Invalid response". I've tried googling a bit, but i have only find issues with people not being able to download through MO, which is a feature i don't use anyway. If i had the time, i would check my mods manually, but i have around about 200 mods, so if this funciton worked it would be a lot easier. I installed my MO and took use of STEP guide in November 2013, so i assume some of the mods can be updated. Is this a known issue? It should be noted that i am logged in on both nexus site, and via the automatic function in MO. ~Sincerely Zeniet Oh.. Just lock this thread down, there actually are a main thread about this.
