According to the STEP 2.2.9 instructions, there shouldn't be one. Right-click the SKSE mod in Mod Organizer and select Open in explorer.Open the SKSE folder or create one if one does not exist. In the SKSE folder, create skse.ini and paste inside it the following:https://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender#Recommendations

These are my "trees"(I don't use a program to show the actual trees, but just read the toolbar). This is the folder that appears when I rightclick "skse 1 07 01" and click "Open in explorer" in Mod Organizer. This is the SKSE folder with the SKSE.ini

Post this in "Wrye Bash Support" section. I don't know how many users actually use Wrye Bash though, so whether or not you will get this resolved is uncertain. Almost everyone use Mod Organizer.

"Potential Mod order problem" <- Is this feature bugged?
Halde replied to Halde's question in Mod Organizer Support
But why is it, that the warnings remain(treating every single line as a single warning), when the mods have been moved according to what it says? For instance: Move The Choice is Yours - Fewer Forced Quests - Improved Dialogue Options after Non-Essential Children Move Dragon Combat Overhaul after The Choice is Yours - Fewer Forced Quests - Improved Dialogue Options Move The Paarthurnax Dilemma after Dragon Combat Overhaul Move Alternate Start - Live Another Life after The Paarthurnax Dilemma All of these are sorted as stated, yet they remain in the warning. -
YAY! The Dragon Soul Absorb Bug! YAY!
Halde replied to GunerX's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Sounds odd. But yea, you only get 1 introduction to Blacksmithing. I have actually rarely done the one in Riverwood, I tend to skip it and do it in Whiterun. I have never encountered a bug with it thouh. -
"Potential Mod order problem" <- Is this feature bugged?
Halde posted a question in Mod Organizer Support
Hi all! So I've basically gotten this warning after every single STEP installation I have ever done, and it has almost always been the same mods in question. [spoiler=Problem Report] Move Cutting Room Floor after RaceCompatibility with fixes Move Even Better Quest Objectives after Cutting Room Floor Move Thieves Guild Requirements - No Auto Quest Start Brynjolf after Even Better Quest Objectives Move Traps Make Noise - More Dangerous Traps after Thieves Guild Requirements - No Auto Quest Start Brynjolf Move When Vampires Attack after Traps Make Noise - More Dangerous Traps Move Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade after When Vampires Attack Move Civil War Overhaul after Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade Move Non-Essential Children after Civil War Overhaul Move The Choice is Yours - Fewer Forced Quests - Improved Dialogue Options after Non-Essential Children Move Dragon Combat Overhaul after The Choice is Yours - Fewer Forced Quests - Improved Dialogue Options Move The Paarthurnax Dilemma after Dragon Combat Overhaul Move Alternate Start - Live Another Life after The Paarthurnax Dilemma Move aMidianBorn Book of Silence after aMidianBorn Book of Silence Content Addon Now the aMidianBorn is new. Since the aMidianBorn Content Addon is only added in 2.2.9, I assume this is the reason. Some of these mods are not STEP mods, but mods I fancy, and are using. This is a picture of almost all the mods in question. While I haven't actually checked all of them to see if they all match, it's beside the point. Because a lot of them match. The fact that this warning states that I need to move mods, after mods, that they are already placed after, leads me to believe that feature is completly bugged, or that it just doesn't recognize the fact the mods are moved accordingly. The reason I am not using the "Fix" feature, is, that the last time I did that, it completly changed my installation order of a lot of mods. For instance, it moved my Unofficial Dragonborn Patch as one of the last mods in the installation order. Can I disable this feature, or do I just have to ignore it as best I can? ~Sincerely Halde -
I'm not sure I understand all the confusion.. If you followed the instruction in the STEP 2.2.9 guide to the letter, your SKSE and Memory Patch 3.0 is installed. Since it is both a simple and fast procedure, the best thing you can do is remove SKSE and reinstall it, following STEP 2.2.9. Even the part about file extensions is explained there...

Halde replied to GunerX's question in General Skyrim LE Support
The "opt" are the optmized textures of the vanilla+DLC I assume. -

I'm fairly certain that aMidianBorn is optimized as well as one can hope. -

Could it be an incorrect installation of FNIS/faillure to run FNIS after installing a FNIS required mod? -
YAY! The Dragon Soul Absorb Bug! YAY!
Halde replied to GunerX's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Hold on! Stop cheating! I thought you were all excited about this bug due to the title. But it turns out you are bummed about it. I believe though that we recently had a thread regarding this subject. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5760-dragon-souls-not-consumed-after-dragon-is-killed/ -
Haven't played Skyrim since 2012--need advice, please :)

Now I don't know your budget, but the AMD r9-290 seems to be one of the best card for the price. It outperforms the GeForce GTX 780, and cost a lot less. About 25% less. But it's still a high-end card, and is priced as such. I think it cost around 380$-400$. It requries 275 Watts if I recall correctly. Although I believe the recommended PSU for this card is ~750 Watts. But I think that goes for most high-end card. Normally one would need 900+ for Crossfire/SLI. EDIT: Now that I've read your budget, there is no need to go that high for just the graphics card. But you should consider getting another PSU, so you can actually us the highend cards. -
I find it odd that Sheson's patch is needed on such a great system to fend off ILS...

Sorry, nothing to add, didn't read that you had already tried the fixes here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5562-step-v229-naked-npc-issue/

20-30 fps after STEP Guide (Macro stutters)
Halde replied to Beamer's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I am likewise no expert, but I wouldn't even try getting big texture mods. Perhaps modding some misc. items, but going for mods like amidiaborn or Skyrim HD/Serious HD etc. isn't adviceable. -
20-30 fps after STEP Guide (Macro stutters)
Halde replied to Beamer's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I don't think you would want to go lower than 512, but it depends on the resolution. -

You might want to not only optmize your textures, but also reduce them using DDSopt. -

Insanely low FPS after updating to Windows 8.1
Halde replied to Halde's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Almost everything is a matter of subjectivity, including Window 8. Windows 8 might be bad, yet there are people who still fancy it. Like the Twilight movies. -
Insanely low FPS after updating to Windows 8.1
Halde replied to Halde's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well it's all subjective I suppose. But it sucks that Microsoft completly neglected non-touch user. I loathe touch, and I loathe Metro even more. Furthermore, Microsoft even had the audacity to blame PC manufacturers for the faillure of Windows 8. Although that's a non-sequitar. -

Sadly I don't have win 7. And yea, win 8 is horrible. It came with the computer. -
"Blocking" textures(especially in snow)
Halde replied to Halde's question in General Skyrim LE Support
But after searching around with ENB, I learned that the performance hit is simply too significant. @Nearox No I have not. Is it the "bDrawLandShadows="? -
"Blocking" textures(especially in snow)
Halde replied to Halde's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well at 8000(which is Ultra) I couldn't see them. High shadow preset was 4000, so I just sat it at 6000 to see if I can still see them. I could barely see it at 4000. -
"Blocking" textures(especially in snow)
Halde replied to Halde's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well that was smooth! I'm gonna try with High settings tomorrow to see if the problem persist then, but on Ultra it sure doesn't! I wouldn't mind the extra FPS, as long as this thing is gone! Spank you all very much! -
