  1. Update to 1.2.9 Make sure you set up your correct login settings.
  2. I have no idea what you are saying. I think you're jumping in a little too quickly. Read the MO Wiki in my signature, watch some of the videos in the Resources tab, check out the tutorial. When posting your modlist, go to /profiles/ and post the contents of the modlist.txt
  3. Cleaned Bethesda ESMs needs to at least come after Dragonborn. Cethesda ESMs backups? Read the revised instructions. Haven't checked DDSopt. Try to if I get a chance.
  4. Guide should now be completely up to date.
  5. Oh! It's Overwrite, not overrides, so that was throwing me off. I evidently forgot to specify to uncheck Backup Plugins, as our method backs them up already. /fixed. BTW, nice to see you ElminsterAU! Edit: I think I'll keep Backup Plugins checked actually. Just add an instruction to create a TES5Edit Backups "mod."
  6. See this post: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/1441-soul-gems-differ-full-and-empty-by-utopolyst/page-18?do=findComment&comment=85500
  7. Should be totally fine to do so.
  8. Unofficial High Resolution Patch is a dummy too. Only difference is it has the HighResTexturePack plugins listed as masters, therefore the missing masters error. Simply do the same with UHRP as you did with the official: untick the esp (I'd move it to Optional ESPs) and check the BSA.
  9. Well, don't click the Installers tab then!
  10. Brawl Bugs Patch is not needed with Enhanced Blood, as that mod includes it. Realistic Water Two Dawnguard and Dragonborn plugins are not needed when using the Legendary plugin (main one is still needed).
  11. Maybe some day we'll be fortunate to have a GUI for extracting and organizing the textures prior to DDSopting them. For now, Vanilla textures and Vanilla Ordinary Textures are not the same thing, and I don't remember any inconsistency like that when I optimized them, so make sure you did it right. 2.B TES5Edit creates Overrides? What are those? I'm guessing that is from the 2.2.9 guide, and I wrote those. I never heard anything about overrides... 2.C I've been meaning to change those instructions. Never have gotten around to it, as they work as is, just not optimal. As to different people writing instructions, yes, there will be some variance depending on who wrote them, as no one person writes the entire guide (thank goodness). If you point out any of the sections that are confusing, we'll try to address them.
  12. Wiki has grown by 10,000 bytes in the past five days, almost a 10% increase. Only Archives in Right Pane needs updated for 1.2.9. Going to bed for now.
  13. Since you have optimized the HRDLC, you probably don't even need to have them ticked.
  14. I had totally forgotten about this. I'll see about adding it, as it is most definitely useful.
  15. 2.2.9 should be released soon. We don't work with ETAs, but I'd guess this week or next week. I'd recommend baseline. If you find a texture that looks like it needs upgrading, then upgrade it to the HQ version. Baseline generally is enough.
  16. Rearrange your priorities to be this: STD_optimized Dawnguard Dawnguard_optimized HearthFires Hearthfires_optimized Dragonborn Dragonborn_optimized HighResTexturePack01 HighResTexturePack02 HighResTexturePack03 HRDLC1_optimized HRDLC2_optimized HRDLC3_optimized Untick the HighResTexturePack esps. Load your save, ignore missing mods warning (those plugins contain no records and should not impact your save), and resave. The warning should be gone and you will have your priorities correct.
  17. Since that is the case, you need to extract those textures, as the DDSopt BSAs have issues with Skyrim and will not do a thing. If you wish too, you can then repack them with Archive.exe if you like the BSAs (saves disk space). You can extract them by going to the Archives tab, Right-click, select Extract, and Extract them to the same directory. Then delete the BSA.
  18. You have Dawnguard Optimized named Dawnguard.bsa. This is the same as the official DLC, and therefore will crash the game when Dawnguard is enabled and your Dawnguard Optimized. Rename the BSA to Dawnguard Optimized.bsa or simlar. Do the same thing for Hearthfires Optimized and Dragonborn Optimized.
  19. Agreed. This was just to mention it in case I forget about it.
  20. If it isn't a change of design, than what is the change I'm describing? I don't know how else to describe it. And I'm thinking I'm liking that other mod I found through a brief Nexus search (DoF is Dynavision):
  21. What? I've never seen this happen to my carts?
  22. Pretty sure SMC uses AMB Landscape for the roads.
  23. If you're talking about the placement of the skeleton, I would have to agree that Bethesda did that rather sloppily.
