Discussion thread: TES5LODGen by Ehamloptiran, Sheson, and TES5Edit Team Wiki Link This tool generates LOD in TES5Edit. You do not need to install this main file. You can just run the LODGen script inside TES5Edit. The page it mostly used for its tree Billboards. It is actually not necessary for STEP, as we use our own Billboards based on our Recolored Pines version of SFO.

It feels like I've dropped this 3 times now!

Mod Organizer is a global (all games applicable) guide, and I think these tool guides work best that way.

I've seen this before. The fix is to use the Topic Moderation drop-down and Edit Title. I've already done it for you.

Mod Organiser Is Not Properly Launching the Game
DoubleYou replied to Mark's question in Mod Organizer Support
Nope. MO automatically does that using the BSAs in the Archives tab. I do believe that MO will ignore that line in the INI (although I'm not certain on that). -
Related guide updates: Updated with the fact that LOOT is auto-detected by Mod OrganizerMoved info about using LOOT with multiple games into the proper format.Added link to the LOOT Meta Rule InstructionsAdded notice about --single-process argument fix for users who may experience a blank window at startup.Updated LOOT Meta Rule Instructions to reflect changes in version 0.7.

Way to drop a bombshell

The only limitation I can see MO having on it would be the same as with other utilities: BSAs that do not have a corresponding plugin enabled won't be read. But that's assuming that Nifscope reads the plugins list to load plugin-loaded BSAs (totally don't know). I do know that TES5Edit (see DynDoLOD) will not see BSAs through MO that are not plugin-loaded.

Hmmm... I started using it mid-way through and only noticed a few issues. It probably is best to stick with a new playthrough though. I know I got some weird places where it "flashed" between LOD and regular causing annoyances from the change. Not sure if that was caused by using a "used" save or not.

fo3goty ini warnings in mo configurater
DoubleYou replied to slayer80's question in Mod Organizer Support
Don't worry about them. Invalid INI settings have no effect on the game. Just make sure that you use the correct INI when you make your tweaks. -
GUIDE Skyrim Installation Guide
DoubleYou replied to frihyland's topic in Unofficial Skyrim LE Guides
I agree that much of the information is sorely out of date and unnecessary. We should revamp it to be in line with the other guide formats, which seem to be becoming much more standardized. -
OBLIVION Default launch ignores MO Profile INI and Saves
DoubleYou replied to Rebelweasel's question in Mod Organizer Support
If the load mechanism is Script Extender, you will have to use OBSE to see Mod Organizer mods, since it hooks OBSE then. -
FO3 MO Archive Invalidation not working
DoubleYou replied to Cl90's question in Mod Organizer Support
Hmmm... It appears that Fallout 3 version of Mod Organizer is a little confused about what files to "force-enable." I might want to make a bug report on that. The workaround is simple. Go to Settings --> Workarounds and untick Force-enable game files. Then you can drag and drop it simply. -
FO3 MO Archive Invalidation not working
DoubleYou replied to Cl90's question in Mod Organizer Support
Drag and Drop the Invalidation BSA to the top. Also make certain that Automatic Archive Invalidation is checked in the profiles menu. -
Vsync not working, setting pics inside
DoubleYou replied to MaroES's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Hmm... it seems that Tony would recommend using driver vsync for whatever reason. I might want to test that. It was only recently discovered that iPresentInterval has no effect in SkyrimPrefs.ini, so it may be there is something to be said for driver vsync. -
Vsync not working, setting pics inside
DoubleYou replied to MaroES's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Okay, that shows me that the problem is something (most likely a mod with a custom plugin INI file or, less likely, a MO INI tweak) is overwriting your value for iPresentInterval, setting it always to 0. Please look in your plugins list in MO for a paperclip icon. All ESPs\ESMs with a paperclip by them have an INI file that the game loads that will overwrite settings you have made in your INI files. Find the mod that has the INI file that contains iPresentInterval in it and remove that setting from the INI file, and VSync should work properly. If that fails, look inside your profile folder and find the initweaks file. Open it and see if iPresentInterval is in there. Do NOT edit this file! If the value is in there, one of your mods has a MO INI tweak that is disabling VSync. If that is the case, you will have to go on an INI tweak witch hunt by double-clicking each mod, going to the INI tab, and find the INI tweak in the bottom left corner. -
How to reinstall previous version of MO after failed update
DoubleYou replied to BlueTrane's question in Mod Organizer Support
Man, I wrote those instructions back in the days of the betas when 0.12.9 was the "stable" version of Mod Organizer. Perhaps I should change it to a more foolproof method I've been using as of late. -
Vsync not working, setting pics inside
DoubleYou replied to MaroES's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Please do the following test for me: Run Skyrim through MO just to the main menu of the game Open the console and type saveini Exit the game In Overwrite there should now be an INI file with the name of the last plugin loaded. Post the INI file to Pastebin and give us the link Important! Delete the file from Overwrite. -
It hasn't been replaced. We're using part of each.

DROPPED Less Annoying Barbas (by Elliotcroft)
DoubleYou replied to Kelmych's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
We don't remove mod wiki pages when they are dropped. Somebody may want to use them for a pack, and the page itself is still good.
