TechAngel85 Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 It's a holiday in the states so not sure if we should finalizing anything.True that. I'm not doing anything for Father's Day so I have time. Guess that could be why it's a slow day on the forums.
EssArrBee Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 That and all our European members are watching the World Cup.
TechAngel85 Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 That and all our European members are watching the World Cup. Bad day to do testing I guess... omg...I'm going to actually have to play a game! I'm not sure I can handle that pressure...
phazer11 Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I vote yes on CaBaL's. I like it better over all. Though there are a few places in the exterior I like SRO better so some hiding might be in order. Unless VL's fort have gotten tons better then I'll pass on them every single time they just look funky even with ENB on IMO.

EssArrBee Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I think me and phryxo both liked AMB in game for interiors. There were a couple problems, but it fixed the greasy wall issue that I just can't unsee in STEP currently. That is one of the those things that drives me crazy, but everyone else doesn't even care. I liked a mix of AMB and STEP for exteriors though. SRO mostly for the walls since they just seemed to blend a bit better.
Kelmych Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I had high hopes of doing more mod testing this weekend, but there have been so many interruptions it has been difficult to make much progress on this.
TechAngel85 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Yeah, I decided against any testing and started Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and then watched a movie....and now it's almost bedtime!
Kelmych Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 My interruptions were family and house maintenance related; yours sound a lot more fun.

Roberbond Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Not just watching. We're giving a spain in the ass!As we did to holland 4 years ago in the final?
EssArrBee Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Okay that is enough OT talk. Everyone has gotten in a jab so back to the mod discussion or go start a World Cup thread in banter inn.

The only real "issue" I have is that I wish the moss was in a darker green but, other than that, I remember I really liked pretty much everything else when I tested. Specially in the below example, which DY pointed out, the improvement is, I think, rather apparent. I remember in one of Bethesda's CK tutorial videos the guy who was presenting said that rubble was the most widely used resource in Skyrim (or something along those lines) and the original really looks terrible when compared to amb's.
redirishlord Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I say take the better rubble and don't sweat the moss, AMB Forts +1.
EssArrBee Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Lot of good debate has taken place on this mod but I see a split on opinions. I say we drop this from testing and pick up the debate after 2.2.9 launches.
