Neovalen Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Falskaar Falskaar is a new lands mod that adds an entirely new worldspace to the world. It's accessed by a dungeon the first time, then by boat from then on out. Falskaar's goal was to act as a DLC, adding content in almost every area. There is a new land, places, people, quests, dungeons and more for the player to experience. It adds roughly 20+ hours of content, and favors all types of characters. This is NOT a beta. This is NOT a test version. This is a 100% completed new lands mod.
phazer11 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Looks interesting do you think you will be adding this to the Legendary Edition guide?
EssArrBee Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 It looks really good, I'm going to play this right now. If it's half as good as Wyrmstooth then I know I'm going to love it. Is anyone putting together a STEP pack of quest mods cuz I wouldn't mind getting in on that action?
Neovalen Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 Looks interesting do you think you will be adding this to the Legendary Edition guide? Could be possible. :)
rootsrat Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Wow. Impressive. I wonder how it fares? Definitely one to keep an eye on!
BahamutZ Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Yeah I saw this through joystiq.com. Looks like it could be real good. I'll probably install it when I finally start the game and play for real. Only small issue with Guard Dialogue Overhaul as he points out in his FAQ. Known so far anyway.
WilliamImm Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Only small issue with Guard Dialogue Overhaul as he points out in his FAQ. Known so far anyway...except it seems like the user who reported the issue mixed up GDO with some other mod, at least according to the author of GDO.
torminater Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I think it neither has any conflicts with STEP nor with Skyrim Revisited (old version June 3rd). So what about adding it to a gameplay pack?
phazer11 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Anyone here tried out Wyrmstooth? I've heard it's good but haven't had the time.
torminater Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I'm probably going to do Wyrmstooth after Falskaar, which I've started today. So far it is really awesome. And I don't really think it's all that unlorefriendly. Not going to spoil it for anyone though ;-)
Ganda Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Wyrmstooth 1.5 did have some bugs but most were fixable just by reloading your save and doing things slower. By the looks of the changelog he fixed the scripting issues so I'd hope this new versions are much better :D
EssArrBee Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I'd say the last two versions were pretty bug free. I played through 1.7 twice and I see that 1.8 added a bunch of new stuff, so I'm going to try it again after Falskaar. The voice acting in Wyrmstooth is decent so I hope Flaskaar is at least that good. I glad to see some big content mods coming out now that Skyrim is about 18 months old.
torminater Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Voice acting in Falskaar is indeed very good (at least how far I can tell)
