If it makes it work, fine. Wouldn't using 64bit be better though use wise? Or is it something it can't compute?

Mod Organizer is a 32-bit program, and therefore can only run 32-bit executables (javaw.exe) with the virtual file system. Nothing to do with DSR itself. :)

Hello. I had a problem for which I can't manage to find proper search results - mod works but hotkey changing ability is stuck. I.e. it worked couple of days ago before endless modpack tweaking and now doesn't - it allows to open DSR hotkey assignment and even press another key but after the press key dialog closes, the hotkey shown remains 'v'. Of all the interface related mods I only have the skyUI to think of.

 

Is there a way to change hotkey somehow via some ini file edit etc?

And question two - is there any known and popular way to assign one key to attack with both weapons at the same time? Cuz I love my mouse and don't wanna mash it.

Is there a chance you've changed the mod's files to read only?

More importantly... where is he trying to set a hotkey? DSR doesn't use hotkeys.

Thanks for answers ma bad. DSR was one of the very few mods prepacked with game and it had DWP packed in, which I did not even notice because it was never listed separately. Apologeez etc

DSR pre-packaged with game and DWP... I guess I can assume my mod was packaged with a pirated game out on the web somewhere without my permission then.

Just asking, seeing that Trob is about to get in trouble - what if I would upload my finished Skyrim folder (excluding all vanilla files to make it legal regarding Bethesda) somewhere with instructions for a fresh Steam installation with the needed tools (MO, LOOT,...) so that others would be able to download it and extract my Skyrim over their vanilla installation? For this to make sense, it of course would include all installed mods (which is currently slightly over 50 GB). I've already done that in private with a friend and it worked perfectly fine, all you have to do is changing your enblocal.ini if the other person got less/more VRAM and changing the Mod Organizer.ini if the other person installed Skyrim to a different path than me.

 

I assume only few mod authors would be okay with that?! Just asking as Neo seemed more concerned about the pirated Skyrim than about his mod being included somewhere without his permission. Don't get me wrong, as said I assume I would be hated by the entire modding community as dozens and hundreds and thousands of hours of work put into those mods would just be unmentioned, not honored with clicks/endorsements/... and could even lead to hate against some mods as I could have messed up something during installation or forgot about an incompatibility. I guess this is also the reason why all the big mod compilations (STEP, SR,...) are a huge set of instructions and Nexus links rather than XX GB archives to download and extract. Just asking for the minimal possibility that everyone would be magically okay with it?!

No need to discuss concept of trouble as if I'm hiding something. I've used pirated software and intending to use such onward for preview or tweaking purposes. In case of skyrim I have both legit and pirated copies with pirated often being better for pc that goes offline during long trips etc. So I have paid my share of developer buck for all good games, including definitely Skyrim. I fully understand that per forums possible rules of conduct I might be banned - welcome. I actually deserved it by asking crap question in the first place not related to the main mod )

 

Still - wondering if there's a keybinding for dual attack somewhere? cuz in combat i somehow keep mashing separate mouse buttons instead of duo.

We do not tolerate the advocacy or support of pirated software on this site.

 

"Crap questions" are not punishable. Advocacy/discussion of pirated software IS.

 

Do what you want on your own time, but any further discussion on the topic of pirated software or requests for support of any software suspect to be pirated (basically anything you use, by your own admission) ... will result in a formal warning or worse.

 

The pot has been stirred, so best to let it rest a while.

I know this isn't directly the topic for this but I'm not getting help anywhere else and I'm just too inexperienced to properly interpret Papyrus logs myself.

 

So I am building my setup since a while in a modular way (STEP 2.2.9.2, REGS, ENB, Weather, Parallax, Landscape, Sound,...) with some hours of testing between each section. Since REGS I mostly end up with one or two CTDs in my 3 hours testing sessions.

 

What caught my attention was, that in ALL Papyrus logs, errors about

 

DLC1VampireBeastRace  aswell as

DualSheathReduxEffect 

 

are mentioned thousands of times before each crash. Is this normal or expected? Is there any way to fix it if it indeed was connected to DSR? What does it mean?

Hey, I realize this is an issue that has been addressed in the past, but I'm wondering what the current state is on DSR with cloaks/backpacks/shields/bows on back and clipping? I have a STEP 2.2.9.2 Extended Install, with a modular install of Dreadflopps packs + Survival by smile 44, don't use many weapon/armor mods or any other equipping mods, and am getting pretty serious clipping, at least with backpacks and shields being the most noticeable.

*I get it, I am one of those people. I'm trying not to be. Apologies.

I thought I had followed the steps to install Dual Sheath Redux correctly from this page:  https://wiki.step-project.com/Dual_Sheath_Redux#Recommendations

 

When I launch the game I get this error message:

 

Dual Sheath redux

Patch Data not detected

 

Please run SkyProc patcher and activate the esp file

 

FYI I did the following "After closing the Dual Sheath Redux Patch, there will be files in Overwrite (essentially a fake mod located at the bottom of the left pane if sorted by priority ascending) created by DSR. Right-click Overwrite and select Create Mod, name it DSR Output and click OK. This will create a new mod listing in the left pane for the DSR patch generated files. You will then need to check it to enable it. "

 

There is a checked DSR Output mod in the left pane.  DualSheathRedux.esp is checked in the Plugins pane (priority 148 from LOOT) so no idea what is causing the error message.

 

When I open DSR Output folder using Explorer, the file structure looks like this:

1.  SkyProc patchers folder

2.  Meta .ini file

 

Inside the SkyProc Patchers folder is the following structure:

1.  Dual Sheath Redux Patch folder

 

Inside the DSRP folder is the following structure:

1.  Files folder

2.  SkyProc debug folder
